This daycare has some weird policies I just couldn't get behind. The tuition is about $1500 a month, but that tuition is based on a normal day of 8am to 330 pm. If you drop off or pick up your kids outside of that timeframe, you need to pay over $1700 a month as it is considered "extended hours". Besides that, the tuition does not include lunch. That'll be an extra $100 a month. Can't understand these policies... I've been to a lot of daycares, but I've never heard of this type of management. read more

My daugher has been going to this school since she was 1 years old. We were originally attending the Snow Trail location for 6 months and then transferred to the Grand Teton location once they had a opening. She loves going here!! The teachers are absolutely phenomenal! They care so much for her. Whenever there is a accident, ie: bump on a head, the school immediately calls you and informs you. It is a tad bit pricer than your creative kids or the new adventure care. The teacher to child ratio is great at Merryhill also. There is always some special event like, water day, moms day, picnic day, and even holiday program events. If you are looking to enroll your little one at a school, you should check this place out! read more

Please read this if you're considering this location. The staff is the cattiest group of air-headed bimbos I've ever encountered. All's well and good as long as you fit into their Stepford Wives box and don't ask any questions. If they decide they don't like you, they'll antagonize you and your child and maliciously lie about you. Be too problematic (i.e. actually ask questions about your child's quality of care and try to ensure your child's dietary restrictions are being acknowledged) and they'll try to force you out of the school. Keep not falling in line and they'll be hellaciously predatory towards you as well as your child. If you miss the cliques and mean girls from middle school, maybe you'd like it here, but if you've actually grown up since then I'd steer clear. Completely incompetent in terms of medical care. Someone wrongly diagnosed my child with hand, foot, and mouth costing me nearly $200 to see the urgent care physicians and we were basically laughed out of the office as he was totally fine. Yet we had to see a physician for him to return to school, a completely ridiculous error on their part that cost me money and hours of our time. My son was returned to me with noticeable injuries on numerous occasions with no explanation. He was also bitten by another child and I was told basically "these things happen." I'm from back east where we do things a little differently, apparently. Bites are taken very seriously as they are a means of transmitting germs and diseases. Apparently the oh so competent medical experts at Merryhill don't know that, or how to accurately recognize childhood illnesses. I saw another child physically assault other students on more than one occasion and the teachers never interfered, I had to do it. But the offending child was one of three siblings in the school so I guess collecting that money for tuition meant more to the school than the safety of their students. No one cared about my son. No one cared about me. My boy told me his teachers were mean to him and he always sobbed when it was time for school, and he's the happiest kid you'll ever meet. I can only imagine what happened while he was away from me. Merryhill puts on a pretty face for you when you visit but the truth is much uglier. If they don't like you, they actively take it out on your child. Cause too much trouble and they'll lie about you and try to make your life an absolute hell, all because they're too immature to speak to you or handle people who are different from their little myopic idea of how people ought to be. I can't express my disgust with this "school" enough. I once wrote to corporate about this location and the fact they overcharged me and never so much as received a response. I can also confirm the teachers take pictures of the children for their personal social media, like Snapchat, which is completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I toured this facility and was greatly dissatisfied and disappointed in the activities and campus. The cost of this place is the most outrageous aspect of the daycare facility. They lost me at $1500 month. Excuse me but I think my toddler should get a degree at least out of the tuition. What is also sad is that even though you are paying too dollar- there is little to show for it. The outdoor play area is to tiny and per the lady I toured with - the kids get 1/2 hour of play only twice a day. Poor kids. Stuck inside one classroom for many hours a day. After moving here in the fall of 2018 and walking through countless preschools, we couldn't be happier we chose Merryhill Grand Teton. My girls love going to school, they are learning so much and the teachers are top notch! It is worth the extra expense to have absolute peace of mind. read more

Every single member of the Merryhill faculty makes our family feel valuable. They clearly care about our daughter (and every other child they interact with) and truly seem to want to make a difference. I love that my infant daughter gets "lessons" and exposure to new sensory experiences. It always sounds funny, but it's the truth... I'm sending my baby to "school" as opposed to just "daycare." Update 06/22/2018: I just wanted to update this review to let people know how much I have valued Merryhill. My daughter was enrolled when she was 8 weeks old and we kept her in this school through kindergarten. And while hers was the last year they offered kinder at this location, every other class leading up to it was wonderful and I would whole-heartedly recommend Merryhill to anyone. It's pricey, but it was completely worth it. My daughter has loved every single teacher she's had (as have I), she has made good friends, she tells me I pick her up too soon because she wants the day to continue on, and she has thrived there. We chose Merryhill for its excellent reputation and have not been disappointed. Our son attends the infant class and loves school and his teachers. He is always excited to see his teachers when we drop him off and is happy when we pick him up. They obviously take great care of these babies and love them each dearly. They follow an educational curriculum which was very important to us. We want to ensure our son is learning AND being cared for. His teachers are a wealth of information, which is great for us first time parents. Tuition isn't cheap, but it isn't much more than other places. Early childhood development is critical and makes Merryhill worth the extra cost. read more

The infant teachers my daughter interacts with are sweet (so far) and I have no HUGE complaints with them. the principal on the other hand does not fit the environment at all. I can't quite put my finger on it but my husband and I do not particularly enjoy her demeanor. She left a sour taste in our mouths just on the first day of dropping our daughter off. read more

Let me keep this short and to the point. The stuff my children learned at this Preschool was decent and they seem to have their act together when it comes to your kids learning new things everyday. Now the not so fun side. My wife and I lost our jobs due to Covid (shocker) and we were forced to pull the kids due to cost (about $2,600 a month for our two kids). We gave the two weeks notice but they said it was a 5 week notice. We let them know that we had to make fast decisions due to our job lost and that paying the $2650 was going to be too much and would put us in a horrible financial position. The principal said that we had to, that there was nothing she could do and that my kids will thank me later in life for paying this bill (not sure what that meant...) She held all my kids stuff ransom until the bill was paid and that was it. We were forced to sell a vehicle to afford paying them off and they couldn't care less. 5 week notice?!? We could not be happier with this school. Merryhill School has an amazing curriculum and after researching other preschools in the area we chose this one. Location is perfect and after five months of preschool we are very happy with our choice. The principal greets the children/families EVERY morning during drop off. Teachers are amazing; loving, caring and supportive. The staff always has a quick answer to any question asked and is willing to assist with whatever need presents. Other staff members establish rapport with the kids and engage them even if they are not in their class. The facility is clean and organized and very secure. Most importantly, our child has learned a tremendous amount in the short time she has been there. At age 3, she is learning a second language along with so much, much more. read more

Staff engages the infants with educational activities such as sensory play, music, etc. I have great peace of mind leaving my son here knowing that he will be well-cared for in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. Absolutely loved it there! We unfortunately had to pull my kids out due to my infants medical problems. My son attended from age 9mo to.almost 2. He learned so much. All the staff are very professional, dressed appropriately and love the kids. There was never a day my children didnt want to.be there. My son never wanted to leave!!! My son went to school here for three weeks and cried when we dropped him off and when we picked him up (tears from happiness because he was being rescued from school) almost every single day. He had severe separation anxiety once we realized this "school" was not a good fit. His personality changed and he was no longer bubbly and happy. He went to school in South Korea prior to Merryhill so he is familiar with being in a learning environment and being away from both parents. Almost every picture that was sent to me, he looked sad, depressed and melancholy. His craft work was depressing. It wasn't colorful and didn't look very engaging. When my husband and I would come early to pick him up he would be sitting in the corner (outdoors or indoors) looking very depressed, sad and lonely. For the amount of money this school charges, we were extremely disappointed in the result. I was very misled thinking this was more of a school. It was not. It was more of a daycare making sure our child is breathing throughout the day, which is something I can do at home. He didn't connect with any of his teachers. The classroom he was in wasn't colorful and didn't have very many things to keep the kids occupied. This observation was noticed in hindsight. When my husband and I would come visit we would see other kids being ignored while teachers were cleaning or tending to other non-child related business. I can't believe this school charged us $1,200 a month. I voiced my concerns to his teachers and the principal. I didn't see much of a change and this is why we pulled him out sooner than later. Awful "school." My son just started going to a Jewish school in Summerlin and didn't even cry on his first day. Huge difference from his current school and Merryhill. This is just an overpriced daycare. I would not recommend this school. I pulled my infant/child after finding out that the filtered water they claim to use was just tap water from the kitchen and that they put items on the menu that say it contains beef or chicken when in fact it's pork or mixed with pork. The portions that my child receives from school lunch is not worth what I am charged. I have also had many incidences where my infant/child would have a bite mark or scratch of some sort and nobody knows how it got there and I was never notified. What really boiled my noodle was the fact that these teachers think its ok to put my child on their personal social media like snatchap without my permission. I have had my son enrolled in Merryhill since July 2017 in the infant class (he is currently 7 months). I really like the daycare providers in his class especially Mrs. Maria - she is so warm and giving and my son loves her. The curriculum is really good and I think my son is learning and enjoys being there. The pictures everyday are nice too. I also love Tadpoles - it's a great way to track my son eating and diaper changes. Things I don't like is the tuition increase every year, $80 extra per month for lunch (I will have to pay this when he moves to the toddler class - lunches are not that great from what I see) and the uniform wear at age 2 (this should only be for school age children). Also there are a few hidden fees you don't expect - just to get more money out of you. read more
