The front office is very well organized and is always happy to spend time explaining things or finding me the perfect appointment time. I can call and talk to them right away and they're always so professional and kind! They are so knowledgeable and Have to help me so much with navigating insurance issues! The dental staff are always so sweet and are so lovely to talk to! I always appreciate how peace they help make me feel! Seriously, the most kind of staff! Dr Do is incredible! She ALWAYS goes above and beyond! I get very stressed about Work being done and she's never pushed unnecessary work on me. She tells me the pros and cons to different options and lets me process what's best for me. I appreciate how she thinks of long-term solutions instead of quick Band-Aids on things. She's also just a fun person to talk to and feels like a friend! The office is so clean and cute! There's a little fury tank that the kids love and comfortable couch and chairs to wait in. Maybe the best part is there is the sweetest office doggie! He has that hypoallergenic fur and is so love able. He sits on my lap sometimes when they Are working on my teeth and I just get to pet him and feel at ease. I truly would never go to another dentist office after going to Dr. Do's!

I've also since needed further endodontic work on two teeth crowned here. I know dental outcomes can be unpredictable, but it added to my overall hesitation. - Communication: I was asked to arrive 30 minutes early, requiring me to leave work. I later learned it wasn't for a medical need, but so staff could practice using a new 3D modeling tool. A simple heads-up would have been appreciated. - Administration: The office forgot to process a cancellation and attempted to charge me a no-show fee until I corrected them. Overall, I've moved to a new practice and am much happier with the care.

Upon first entering the door we were greeted by professional, welcoming staff that made sure all of our paperwork was in order. The patient I was bringing in needed extensive dental work and Dr. Perkins generously offered to take her on as a patient. After a particularly difficult appointment, Dr. Perkins followed up with a personal phone call to reassure me that he was aware that the appointment was unusually difficult and addressed some unspoken questions I had. Talk about intuitive! Each of his staff members were courteous and encouraging. The greatest moment was today, when this young girl told me her mouth was still sore, from the latest extraction, but it was healing and she could never remember a time in her life when her teeth had been pain free. Dr. Perkins and his staff literally made a life changing difference. I would comfortably recommend this dental office to anyone. They are a judgement free, service oriented office that truly cares about the individual!

He didn't check the margins or even remove the old cement from the tooth. I told him multiple times that it felt horrible and he shrugged and sent me on my way (after paying him). The crown fell out 2 hours later. Borderline malpractice. He obviously doesn't care about the quality of his work. Not only would I not recommend, but I will actively warn people to avoid him. Multiple dentists I've told have referred to him as a quack. Save your time and money. *Update 1: was reimbursed for this "service" after the crown fell out, which I felt was decent. But after reading this yelp review, in which i stated fairly my experience with this dentist, *he called me* and then re-billed me, claiming that the crown did not properly fit (in which case, he should've said something at the appointment, no?). I have since gone to a dentist in Fremont who had no problem fitting the crown and cementing it properly. At this point, I'm considering contacting a consumer affairs attorney and whichever licensing bureau is relevant. **update 2: I didn't have time to listen to the full voicemail when it was initially received (it was almost 3 minutes long), and I have just discovered that at the end of it Dr. Alderete expressly stated that he would rescind the second billing if I remove my negative yelp review. I really lucked out when I found Dr. Sam. The entire office from reception to technician to hygienist made me feel welcomed. It was also my first meeting Dr. Sam. He was interested in me as a person, as well as whatever was going on (or not) with my teeth. He gave me an honest low down of my situation and what I may expect down the line. Prior to meeting Dr. Sam, I had a full series of x-rays (not the old fashion film type). Dr. Sam came in and looked at the X-rays and then did a full dental check. He was gentle (a big deal for me) and thorough. Karla was my hygienist and she too was thorough and wanted to make sure she didn't hit any teeth that were sensitive areas.
