    Fish tacos!
    Rebecca R.

I'm so happy that Maria is getting the credit she deserves. She kept some of the original menu and gave her take on an additional Mexican flare. It's authentic and absolutely delicious. People from small towns aren't always accepting of new owners, especially after people loving the original ones. But they sold and she came in and has done an amazing job. Go give her a shot!

Half-gone carnitas tacos, delicious down to the tortilla.

New owner, still amazing. When we first moved here, the vibe and the menu was very different. But that does not mean that the quality of service, and food has declined at all at Creekside Cork & Brew. Still one of our staples, the owner is so kind, and the food is delicious. I'm very happy to have them in our community!

Well... guess we didn't hate it

Wonderful service and seriously delicious food. The burgers are hefty and pack a punch. Had 2 shrimp tacos and verrrrrry yummy. Not just some skimpy shrimps, actually wonderfully marinated and prepped. The WINGS...wow the wings were a star. These wings are JUMBO sized and not just sauced up. Theyre fried, coated and topped with whatever flavor you choose. Not just some parmesan powder and garlic salt...actual garlic marinade and shredded parm. Come by - you wont be disappointed!

Every time we go wine tasting in FairPlay we always go to Creekside Cork and Brew. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. We have brought different groups of friends here and everyone always leaves saying how good the food is. My favorites are the garlic Parmesan wings. They are meaty, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The burgers are great, filling and tasty. My favorite is the Smokin hot burger. Also good is the brunch burger. Today I got the special - clam chowder which had a good quantity of clams and was very filling. My partner got the beef stew which was very flavorful. For dessert we shared the carrot cake which was home made and delicious. Angie our server was efficient, cheerful and friendly. Look forward to coming back again!

    Nice ambiance.

Wonderful place, great food and ambiance. We were in the area getting fire wood and our friends suggested to meet at this lovely place. Everything we ordered was delicious and came out great! We will definitely make it back next time we are in the area!

Beautiful place located right next to a winery! I got the cheeseburger and fries. The burger was good but not the best I had ever had. The meat was a little dry. The fries were good! The patio has a gorgeous view of the mountains and the ambiance is great! We also had mimosas that were 10/10!!!!

Creekside is one of the few dining options near Fair Play, but don't think twice about dining here. Every bite will be worth your while! The flavors and portions blew me away, and my party had plenty of food leftover the next day. We ordered the mac and cheese, celebration fries, and carnitas tacos, plus an Italian cream soda. Since all the dishes were from the appetizer menu, I was expecting smaller plates. The chef brought our order to our table (takeout only but outdoor dining allowed during COVID), and we received three large boxes of food which could've been entrees. The mac and cheese was topped with bbq pulled pork and balanced with pickled red onions. The celebration fries had lots of flavor from the bacon and jalapeños--try them with ranch dip. The tacos were loaded with carnitas, avocado crema, queso, and had a great bite to them from the slightly crispy tortillas. I got a blackberry cream soda which was refreshing and the perfect pairing to the food. Service was friendly and quick despite being busy with the dinner crowd. There is an outdoor patio upstairs and downstairs by the creek. It was fully shaded in the patio areas which made dining comfortable despite the heat. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Creekside, and would love to come back and dine indoors.

    Tasty green chicken enchiladas.

When we were seated they seated us directly against a wall with very limited table space for four girls. We ordered wine flights (actually a great deal 4 wines for $25) and apps. We all were very hungry as we just got off a plane but they don't really have anything that is meal worthy more or less just small bites. The burrata was so yummy but the toasts were a little hard. Buffalo cauliflower dip was great and I loved the combination because I would've never thought to have a dip with cauliflower, cheese and buffalo sauce! When we ordered the apps we didn't have any table space left and the waiter took quite a while to pick up our prior plates and bring our bill. If you want outdoor seating I would recommend you go early as it fills up very fast and anything over two people will be hard to get in.

It's unassuming from the front exterior, but we were pleasantly surprised by how sleek it is inside. And that wine cave for members with the enormous antique bar and handcrafted walnut tables? Simply gorgeous. Although everything I have tried on my visits here has been quite good, the real star at E16 is the award-winning pinot noir, which is also nearly impossible to find in this region! If you talk to the owner, Robert, you'll quickly learn that pinot is his passion (I can totally relate) and his partnerships with revered vineyards throughout California are how he's getting such delicious pinot noir to Fairplay. I've now been twice to the tasting room with friends, including most recently during Passport weekend, and each time have had a terrific experience. I bought a couple of bottles of their pinot and am also seriously considering joining their wine club. E16 is like a slice of Napa (without all the pretentiousness) dropped right in the heart of Fairplay and I am all about it. Definitely stop in and try the wines!

The only time to do it is when I feel strongly that something is wrong. Not even the panoramic view can save Skinner anymore, and that used to be my favorite part. The wine is not as good as it used to be, either. Customer service has gone downhill over the years and is now some of the worst I've ever experienced in my life. If you have mobility issues of any kind, please be warned before coming here. This was our last stop during this year's Passport weekend a few months ago. I know, why didn't I review before? I should have. I don't have an excuse other than being behind in my reviewing as a way of life on Yelp. I was also and continue to be embarrassed. Reading this might cause second hand embarrassment, fair warning. I have been having ongoing back (sciatica) issues which can make it painful to stand or walk for prolonged periods, and I was really going through it on the day I was last here. So, I decided to use the handrail and try to go down the stairs to the tasting area. I really should have used the ramp (I did on my way out, undaunted), but instead slowly made my way down the stairs trying not to wince. I probably just looked like another drunk fat girl having trouble with stairs. And in fact, I did indeed to one staff member in particular. She clearly knew nothing about wine, and one wonders why she even found herself working here. When pouring for me and my friends, she gave me a tiny pour in comparison. I know I probably looked down at it and frowned, being tired, in pain, and wondering uhhh why? Her response to this was to laugh loudly at me and tell me that I was clearly drunk walking down the stairs like that and didn't need anymore wine. She was watching me, she said. (Watching me struggle down the stairs. What a nice person.) She continued to laugh thinking she was so funny and superior. Yikes on bikes. Girl, when I tell you I was shocked I mean I was stunned silent. I didn't know what to say or do. Not only did I feel embarrassed for myself but I felt embarrassed for her. Why would you do that to someone? Someone you don't know? My friends were kind and distracting and made me feel better, and I didn't want to cause a scene so I didn't say much of anything else to her. I just wanted her to go away, to be frank. I know she couldn't know what I was feeling if I didn't say so but you know what? It does not matter. What she did was not only hideously rude and unprofessional. It. was. dangerous. You do not. discourage someone. from using mobility or accessibility aids. The way they were intended. Ever. For any reason. That is what they are there for. Drunk or not, which I was not. But even if I was. People like me who have only started recently to experience mobility issues are in an especially vulnerable adjustment period, and the last thing we need is to think about our pride and how someone might make fun of us if we decide to use a railing the way it was intended. And not just a random someone at that. A person this winery employs. This was an incredibly unsafe, terrible experience that I never wish to relive, and I hope nobody else, abled or otherwise, encounters this. Skinner, this was completely unacceptable. No, I don't know her name, but she was incredibly rude, loud, and the least knowledgeable person I've ever encountered at a winery.

The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had, and as a girlie who doesn't usually love soup, I have to say the corn soup my husband ordered was delicious bursting with flavor and perfectly creamy. My husband chose the burger with truffle fries, and they absolutely nailed it. The bacon jam, arugula, goat cheese aioli... every bite was incredible, and the fries were amazing. I had the steak with scalloped potatoes and carrots, and as someone who typically likes her meat well done, I can honestly say this steak was excellent.
