Seems the prime rib sandwich is a popular item. I had it. It was good, but not great. They do charge for great though. For a place that calls itself a steakhouse, they had just one steak on the menu, a prime rib. Technically, a roast if traditionally prepared. I did not have it, but noticed it was also a bit pricey for a steel building restaurant. The server was very friendly but a bit too chatty. We ended up not getting out appetizer, but we did notice she had lengthy conversations with her guests. It's a new place, so I'll give it another shot in a few months to see if anything changes. read more

My wife and I been wanting to try Creekside Grill and tonight we decided to go. The reviews looked good. When we walked in there wasn't a greeter. We waited and talked amongst ourselves. We didn't notice a sign stating Wait t be seated. There were only two tables occupied.Due to my hurt leg we decided to go to the nearest table and wait for the waiter or waitress. The acting manager Tucker approached us and said They prefer to seat the customers themselves. So next time we should wait to be seated laid ours menus down and walked off. The waitress was really nice and apologized for Tucker's action. We decided this isn't away we should be talked to and drove to Weatherford to Logan's and enjoy a nice steak dinner. As much as we wanted to support and experience one of our local restaurants, we will not return. read more

The wife and I went back to try the Steaks, glad we did, the wife had to Ribeye and I had Filet, both were cooked correctly and TENDER. The only thing could have made the meal better was a baked potato, but we arrived at midafternoon, they are served only at dinner. One of the better Steakhouse restaurants outside of Ft. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. You would figure that it was busy, but not so. Fried pickles were too salty to eat. We got salads with their blue cheese dressing. My dressing had one small piece of blue cheese. Otherwise it was a dill ranch dressing, not blue cheese. My wife's hamburger was well done on the outside, raw (not rare) on the inside. My wife and I went there for dinner it took a long time to get our food. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was very greasy and was tasteless. My wife had chicken fried steak and it was over cooked and hard as a rock and her baked potato was barely warm .she asked for a chicken sandwich instead and we waited for over 20 minutes and it never showed up by then so we paid and left. Party of 4, we all had the 8oz filet perfectly cooked med rare. Duck wings (actually drum sticks) and twisted nachos, (a meal in itself) everything was good. Dinner with friends, BYOB was a nice option, steak & wine paired nicely. We hung around for 2+ hours w/no pressure to leave, very good time. read more

First and last visit! I kinda feel like they owe us money. Very nice building and decor and that's about it. Ordered fried pickles, they were fine. Also ordered roasted jalapeño dip and chips. Dip consisted of cream cheese and flecks of jalapeño with a Ritz cracker crumble on top. Was room temp and not a dip. Had to spread it with our knives. Clearly not heated enough. Husband ordered $32 ribeye with shrimp and green beans and soup. Soup was good. Literally the only thing he ate. He ordered the steak medium. It was clearly well done and very thin, super fatty and almost looked pulverized. Flavor was bland. He complained and received a lecture about the cut of meat...ummm, ya, his dad is a butcher and he worked in meat processing in college but thanks for the lecture. It was no where near a $26 steak. We felt seriously robbed. Green beans were warming and very oily. I ordered the pork loin which said to be glazed. Not glazed much at all. With room temp mashed potatoes. I asked why I hadn't received the smashed potato caserole I ordered. The waitress heated my potatoes and brought me a plate with cheese, green onions, bacon crumbles amd sour cream. I explained that I didn't want loaded mashed potatoes, but she said that IS the caserole. The pork was okay, tough and dry in the two center sections but my plate was only 15$ and I ate most of it. Sadly, out tab was almost $80 and my husband ate two bites of steak. He did say the shrimp were okay. However, the manager had said she swing by our table after we ate dinner. When we complained she never came back and sent the waitress to give us a free dessert. We asked for it to go because after being there for an hour and half and disappointed we just wanted to leave. Literally my worst dining experience ever. Also, shortly before we left, a server asked us to help slide the burlap curtain down and when we did, dust went all over our table and in our drinks. It was like the icing on the bad cake. Disappointed. It should also be noted that we were the only customers in the place until the last 10 minutes. Our first time here and it's a pity we waited as long as we did to try it out. This place is excellent and in a great location! We had ribeyes, a cheeseburger, chicken fried steak and chicken tenders. The steaks were bigger than what a typical 12oz is at TX Roadhouse or Logans, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I would put their steaks up against Ruth's Chris or Perry's anytime and you can't beat the price for the quality you get here. The chicken fried steaks were so tender you could cut them with a fork. The chicken tenders were larger, tender and juicy and the burger was large, well seasoned and was also juicy. If you find something to complain about here, no other place would suit you either. Once was enough, poor quality food. Seems the want to be something and don't know how to properly cook or prepare foods. They should taste it before the serve it sometimes. Also should hire someone that knows what they are doing. read more

I was so looking forward to this restaurant opening as it could have been a great local spot for the community. Unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. I am not sure if it was because we showed up 30 minutes before closing but the staff seemed distracted with finishing up the day verses serving guests. We ordered an appetizer that was suggested to us and the waitress watched us share it between ourselves on napkins rather than provide us each with a plate. We continued to order a variety of menu items for dinner and they were good, not great, but good. I had a burger and was never asked what temp it should be cooked to, so I received a well-done burger even though I a medium type of guy. Based on the menu, it seems Creekside Grill has an excess of potatoes as all side options seemed to be a different version of the same spud. I am hoping this was a bit of new restaurant opening jitters as we would love to see this place become the local hot-spot. For the time being, the $65 we spent really wasn't worth it. read more
