Oh my goodness. I knew it would be nice, but it's Ritz Carlton nice. Yes, there is construction to upgrade some cabins, but there are several completed and they are spectacular. The fit and finish in our cabin is truly top notch. They thought of every little detail including great instructions on how to operate everything in the room. Our breakfast was incredible. And the creek, the surrounding red rocks, the grounds, the ponds and waterfalls. Wow. I suspect that when the other cabin upgrades are done, and additional amenities are added, this place will be THE resort of the Sedona area. Oh, and it's the perfect place to disconnect a bit. So tranquil and relaxing. We will stay there again...and we live here in Sedona!

This place is amazing. Excellent food, friendly staff, beautiful property, events every weekend. Quiet, peaceful, the list goes on. It's a must visit

Loved the live band while we sat by the fire. Great friends, great food and a great getaway!!

My husband and I came here for a private party and decided to spend the night and enjoy the cooler weather. Wow what a great decision! Elena hosted a beautiful party and everyone enjoyed the day. The rooms are very cozy and super clean. The atmosphere was very home town welcoming and all the staff was kind and engaging. The food was wonderful, Thank you Damon for the wonderful breakfast and to Rose for the great service!!!! See you all soon

Cigarette butt still left there when we got in the room. This was in the balcony.

We booked a cowboy cabin last Dec 27, 2022 and were disappointed with our room. The room hasn't been dusted for awhile, the tub was dirty and old. The bed were sagging with the old box springs showing. The pillows were tattered and feels really cheap. There was no table to use to eat your dinner. There was one side table in the middle of our 2 beds and a lamp on it that's taking up most of the space so there's not much space for your eyeglasses, cup of water or phone. The balcony has a nice view overlooking the creek although there was no water flowing when we were there but that's alright. There was a cigarette butt on the ash tray that was still there. The internet and phone wasn't working at the time, but even if it was, it was only showing 1 bar on my phone so the signal was probably not going to be good. We almost left that night but the lady on the front desk was nice to transfer us to another room. We got transferred to Santa Fe room which was better. The tub got replaced with a table and two chairs. The bed was better, and box springs were newer. Pillows were still the same. Also, still one side table between two beds with lamp taking up most space. The balcony was better, looks renovated. Breakfast was alright, bagels, cereal, orange juice, bottled water, milk. We had to ask somebody to refill the milk and they ran out of cream cheese which we didn't really mind but small things like these reflects how well the management is doing. Seems like someone should be in charge of these amenities that they offer considering the cost of stay we paid. Overall, we're not happy with our stay and would not be coming back again.

Beautiful Flowering bush as you walk in the main entrance!!

Hubby and I always drive by and never stop. This time we did! We walked around the grounds took photos and then walked in. The awesome man at the front desk asked if we had been here before and would we like to see a cabin. So he handed us a key and said have fun! we were surprised he didn't ask for ID or anything... We walked down the path to the cabin..it was nice and opened up to king size bed and an awesome RED heart shaped Hot-Tub and fireplace!!! Wow!! Impressive for a small cabin in the desert! It also had a small screened in porch overlooking the cute creek, so pretty and serene!! It was the perfect time to be there! We came back for anniversary!! They remembered us and were treated like long lost family!! We loved it....and now our friends love it too!!

    We found the vortex.

From the planning to the rehearsal to the day we arrived at the event Tony and his crew could not have been more accomodating. Stephanie, the on-site coordinator, undeniably loves her job and it shows! She was so helpful and always there to answer any questions we had. We had an unfortunate debacle with the florist we hired and without hesitation Stephanie jumped into action the day of the wedding making suggestions, offering solutions, and providing support. Because of her my daughter had fresh flowers on her cake which would have otherwise been naked due to the florist's mistakes. She truly went above and beyond for us! Our daughter and her fiance chose the taco bar buffet menu. I have to tell you I was not thrilled with their choice before the event but after seeing the quantities provided, the amount of fresh toppings, and tasting everything I was very pleased! Our guests could not stop commenting how great the food was! The room change over from buffet to dancing went really smoothly and we hardly noticed it was happening. Their wait staff was constantly clearing tables and tidying up and Stephanie kept everything moving according to our schedule. The bartender was lovely made great drink suggestions and made great cocktails! And what can you say about the venue itself? It was my daughter's first and only choice for her wedding after visiting the property. The scenery and landscaping are amazing, there is not one bad place to take a photo! Our experience was truly amazing and I want to thank The Windmill House for making my daughter's wedding a wonderfully memorable event for all the right reasons!

So glad we chose the Hat Ranch, as it suits our outdoor style to a "T". The directions in were very easy to follow, and our Toyota Tacoma picked up a beautiful red patina of Arizona dust. Sharon, our host, greeted us at the main house and then escorted us to our quarters. As this was our first time here, she took extra time explaining all about our stay, which included a home cooked breakfast today. You can Google the Historic Hat Ranch for all the cool details, but suffice to say there are some very presidentially mended fences here on the expansive 2,800 acres. Our room was very nice, twin beds and a nicely appointed bathroom. Also a spacious deck to view the open Ranch space. We opened the windows and breathed in the fresh air...scented with juniper and noble fir trees right out our door. We didn't see any, but Sharon told us Elk frequented the area often. Many other wild creatures to see too, including javelinas. The baby colt on the way in made my wife's day, and he quickly posed for some pictures and romped away. This has been a perfect cherry on the top of our anniversary Sunday. If you love the outdoors and crave a rustic Ranch experience with warm hospitality, the Hat Ranch is the place for you.

Paired very well with the jalapeño dip or sour cream dip also offered. We'd give this dish alone 5 stars. THE COPPER Prime rib & Swiss cheese on a 6" hoagie roll, with a side of au jus. 16.99 This was our least favorite of our foods, as we thought the au jus, which is obviously the main source of flavor, was not very flavorful. We'd give this dish alone 3 stars. BACON CHEESEBURGER 15.99 with a runny egg add on +$2.00 Though not specifically included on the list of burger add-ons, I'm grateful my request for a runny egg was accommodated. The burger's meat was so juicy and flavorful along with everything else in it. Very reasonably priced since it came with a side of fries and was huge. We'd give this dish alone 5 stars. This restaurant is interesting, as there's a courtyard in the back near the creek seemingly for weddings? I'm not very familiar with the area, but given the hexagonal archway and covered tent with a banquet table, I can only assume. There's also ample bungalows lining the perimeter of the property. Overall very delicious food with a cute getaway opportunity, just outside of Phoenix. I'd most definitely come back to try more items or get my beloved burger.
