I was thrilled when I pulled in and saw the parking lot almost completely empty, thinking we had finally picked a quiet time to swim. Unfortunately, those hopes were quickly dashed when we were told we couldn't enter the pool because it was already "at capacity" based on the number of lifeguards on duty. Given the nearly empty parking lot, it seemed to be a staffing issue rather than the pool actually being crowded. Unfortunately, this is just one of several frustrating experiences we've had at this rec center. My 6-year-old's lips turn blue after spending more than about 20 minutes in the main pool because of how cold it is. The only area that is really appropriate for him to practice swimming is adult-only for the majority of the day, with only a very limited window for children--and during that window, we're now being told the pool is at capacity. We've also had multiple negative interactions with both front desk staff and lifeguards who have been unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. A previous reviewer made an assessment that I now completely agree with: if you're an older adult, this rec center may be a great fit, as the programming and pool schedules seem heavily geared toward adults. If you have a young family and are looking for a place to work out and swim with your children, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Today someone from the daycare barfed in the pool so we went to the lower pool and another child from the daycare got a bloody nose in the pool and then one of the kids took my daughters swim cover and another took our pool noodle. I think without their parents there it's just chaos. It's hard to believe this is the only outdoor pool for Lone Tree residents. We were also over charged which I had to argue about and come back around the line to prove why I needed a refund.

One is doing recreational classes and the other one is doing teams. The negative reviews from years ago are no longer relevant as Caesar is the new owner and has really turned this gym around. Unfortunately, the professionalism and support from the coaching staff and leadership were severely lacking when challenges arose. During her first year at the gym, my daughter expressed interest in pursuing college gymnastics. Her coach was not supportive. Instead of encouraging her while being realistic, the coach discouraged her and even refused to teach her new skills, stating, "Why should I teach you new skills if you are going to leave anyway?" This was deeply disappointing, as we were paying facility and coach to teach her. My daughter chose to stay because of the friendships she had built with her teammates. The following year, my daughter moved up a level and had a different coach. As a middle schooler navigating personal struggles, my daughter handled some issues poorly with her coach but they appeared to have been resolved. Later in the season, more issues arose but the director made decisions without hearing all sides and communicated things that should have been addressed personally via email. We attempted to contact her coach multiple times but both my daughter and I were ghosted. My 14 year old CHILD called the coach and texted her requesting a meeting to resolve the matter and the coach didn't ever reply! The coach is an ADULT responsible for mentoring and coaching CHILDREN! Despite paying non-refundable competition fees, the only option offered was for her to compete without a coach's backing--a serious safety concern. This left my daughter unsupported and she was forced to leave the gym. Over the course of our time there, I invested more than $10,000 and consistently supported the program and the coaches, even when I may have disagreed with them. When real issues arose, the way they were handled was unprofessional, dismissive, and deeply concerning. I recently contacted the owner of the gym to express my concerns and I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. This is the thanks you get for spending your money there. Families considering this gym should be aware that while the facility is nice, the leadership and some coaching support may fall short when it truly matters.
