I guess it should've been a red flag that Good Stuff had a 30 min wait while Crème de la Crepe was empty. But I was excited to eat here since I'd grown up going to the one in Redondo. Things started off promising with our server, Destiny. She loved our dog and we appreciated that she set an outdoor table for us. But when service actually started, it all slowly went downhill. A canned drink we ordered had dirt on the lid. No big deal we thought and just requested another one. Destiny for some reason took this personally and the attitude started popping off from there. It's not like we said it was covered in rat droppings or something! She took our orders by memory and of course, an item came out wrong. Instead of apologizing, she again made it seem like it was somehow our fault. We were so put off by her attitude, we didn't even complain when the burger came out RAW. Just look at this picture. Yuck. By the time this happened, the service was so awful we just wanted to get out of here. While waiting for our check (which never came, we had to ask for it ourselves), I went on Yelp and noticed that Destiny had other terrible reviews about her! Why is she still employed here? Maybe she's the owner's daughter, which might explain why she took mistakes so personally. In any case, we were lucky enough to dissuade another party from having lunch -- they were viewing the menu, asked us how our experience was, and we were glad they were spared. Hopefully this review will stop others from the same awful experience. But there's a reason this place is empty on a Sunday when the PV Fair is going on. Just go to Good Stuff next door! read more

Although the food was delicious, the service was seriously lacking. My family of 5 went for Father's Day for lunch which was booked 5 days in advance through Yelp. We were seated at a small table way in the back near the bathroom, which was challenging since my husband was on a walker. No one even looked at us for more than 20 minutes. It was one full hour before our food arrived. By the time we paid the check, two hours had passed. I realize it was Father's Day, but they should have prepared to have extra servers that day. I never give reviews but this place sucks! The French Toast is day old French bread. Fine I guess if they don't want to waste food but the egg coating is just on the very outside of the French toast. Basically day old break when you cut inside. We also got the Belgium Waffle. It was NOT a Belgium waffle. It was just a regular thin waffle I could have made at home in my own waffle maker. We had 2 types of wine available and some other drinks for those not consuming alcohol.... We even did a birthday cake which they kindly kept in the back fridge for us... We feel there's racist treatment against Asians by Destiny & the other Latina waitress. I had to step up to the front three times in order to get a box and also get the bill. After that I had to go back up to the front again to give the bill with my credit card. The waitress Destiny didn't even say thank you. I also heard her say to the white customer in the next table that she was very tired and overworked!!!But that is no excuse for this terrible service. My son and I said that we will never visit this restaurant again even if you paid us! I plan to call up the owners of Creme de la Crepe and complain about the horrendous service. So disappointed. Following the reviews and the fact that they advertised that Tuesday was mussels and fries day, we went for lunch. First impressions, nice place, chalk board outside again posted mussels and fries on Tuesday and since it was Tuesday at noon, was excited to try. As we were sitting down we overheard the guy at the next table talking to the waiter that they didn't have fries! The waiter came to take our order and we asked about the mussels and fries.
