Price point is too high for quality of food. - French onion soup not savory, served like warm - prosciutto & brie sandwich comes cold and not toasted, one thin layer of prosciutto, can barely taste it. The mustard and arugula over powers it. - good place if you're looking for something fast. Disappointed

Review #1020 - Crème de la Crêpe in Palos Verdes is a gem. The crêpes are consistently delicious--light, perfectly cooked, and filled with high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a savory breakfast crêpe or something sweet, you really can't go wrong. The outdoor seating is especially nice, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal on a beautiful day. Service is always good--friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. It's an easy choice for a casual brunch, a coffee break, or a laid-back meal with friends. Reliable, tasty, and worth coming back to.

Came in here for a sweet crepe before my commute. I got the Pigalle - strawberries, bananas & chocolate. I paid for my food, sat down in my car to eat, and my first bite tasted as if it was mixed with something savory. As I kept eating I was getting this off putting taste. I took a look at my fork for the next bite and found a hair in my food. Absolutely disgusted. The chef who was making my crepe was stuffing his face eating, while handling cut strawberries and bananas. I was sitting at the bar watching him prepare my food, thinking okay, maybe he hasn't had a lunch, hungry & cooking. Idk. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this is disgusting. Never coming back here.

Not too crowded on Friday mornings (granted most people are working). The food is good and the service is quick, not much more to add. I had their Bisous crepe which is definitely sweet, but delicious nonetheless. It's a crepe with strawberry, banana, mango, Nutella and some ice cream on the side. Solid place to go in the mall located on the corner where your turn into the parking structure (equinox side).

I went to this place on a whim. There was a car show in the area and I haven't been to an authentic French bistro in a while. I wasn't feeling like crepes but I was looking for a hearty brunch to keep going. The place is quiet, good for conversation with friends. The music and sounds are calming just like a luxury spa. The food was really good! I ordered the French onion soup. It was pretty hearty and I thought I was full by the time I got done with it. I ordered the mushroom and bacon omelette and it was a huge plate! The serving size is enough for leftovers. I also tried the lemonade and it's very fizzy and bubbly. Service was very kind. I was sad that the poutine had sold out but our host assured me it would be back after thanksgiving. Overall highly recommend!

I got here right when it opened on a weekday. We were welcomed immediately and we ordered the Belgian waffle and Eggs Benedict. Everything tasted quite delicious. I wish the Belgian waffle came with some fruits and whipped cream on the top but overall it was filling and my friend really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. This place is situated in the promenade plaza and parking was abundant. It is on the first floor. I liked that the table setting was simple and seating was spacious. The waiter was very kind and took our order immediately.

I came here after a performance nearby with a large group and it had a set menu with choices we ordered prior to arriving.... I only thought of this place as mainly a sweet or savory crepe place and I've only been 2 to other locations Hermosa Beach and Long Beach... I think we had about 50% of the restaurant and they were very accommodating for the group as we had some extra people as well and some other props inside. The food was good and much better than I expected me primarily eating Vegan nowadays....the others all pretty much enjoyed their meals... The servers were great and friendly and PATIENT with us.... We had some extra people and they still let us order food for them from our set menu even though it wasn't in advance.... We had 2 types of wine available and some other drinks for those not consuming alcohol.... We even did a birthday cake which they kindly kept in the back fridge for us... Overall I would give this a 5 Star for Service and Food...and would definitely come back because of this.... See my pics for the food I personally had the Vegan Salad - Vegan Pasta and one bite of Crème Brule I forgot to take pics of the Chocolate Mousse... Everything was great for a party this large for both food and service!

Close to where the wifey wanted to shop, (aka, happy wife, happy life), but I too like the mens Bath & Body products. But I digress... We both got paninis, and in their defense, both were tasty. Me... chipotle chicken, the wife, turkey I think but I have no idea. The "fries or salad option" is offered and me, being the fat effer that I am, chose salad, as did the lovely wifey. Results. Pannini's, i.e. both of them, were very tasty. Not the knock your sock off kick my arse variety, but very tasty. Bread is delicious... That said... here is kicker #1. You are offered a 'Salad or a Fry', with your panini. Again. the both of us, attending to our respective diets, chose the salad option. Well... kick me in the arse and call me a donkey's child because I could have picked more greens outta my teeth after a snack sesh with broccoli after flossing, than this B.S... Again, I digress. What really gets me is the cost of two small, albeit tasty, panini's, that was $54... Really? Call me a cheapskate but I personally believe that $54 should at least give you a little... Well, I'll stop there... JMHO.

The menu options available all looked good (and everyone seemed to enjoy them). The setting and facilities were very nice. And the views, of course, were excellent. On top of that, we had high-level service from the staff -- speed, accommodation, responsiveness. Indeed, the only critique I could come up with was that the guy with the pepper grinder would ask instantly whether you wanted some, before you could even taste your food. Pricey, but, for something special, worth it.

The salmon carpaccio was made with smoked salmon that tasted like it came from Ralphs. The wagyu steak was chewy, oddly gamey, and flat in flavor. We also tried a few items from a friend's plate, and those were disappointing as well. For $150 per person, it was a complete flop. Even the cheese assortment and jamón were mediocre. The view is beautiful, but the kitchen was extremely disappointing. Service was ok, took a while to get a drink and never was offered a refill but forgivable on a busy day. Unfortunately food was so bad, I couldn't give this place anything other than 1 star. Even if the price was $50pp - it would still be not worth it.

And my goodness it blew last year at the four seasons away by a lot!!! (They dipped significantly after Covid - not the same value). The Trump had EVERYTHING you could want in a brunch. Sushi, free flowing champagne, prime rib, crepes, crab, waffles, eggs Benedict, pancakes, chocolate dipped fruit, breads, bagels, cheeses, salad, Korean short ribs, shrimp, shrimp scampi, pasta, omelettes, oysters, fruit & figs, and sausage & bacob. I know for a fact I am missing offerings. It was world class, A+ with live music and wonderful service. The views of the pacific were gorgeous on our blustery day. My goodness it was so pretty.
