Yummy spot for brunch! Service was great! Not a lot of people were there unfortunately but it was around 12pm on a weekday. Food is always excellent. They are always willing to accommodate for food restrictions

Review #1020 - Crème de la Crêpe in Palos Verdes is a gem. The crêpes are consistently delicious--light, perfectly cooked, and filled with high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a savory breakfast crêpe or something sweet, you really can't go wrong. The outdoor seating is especially nice, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal on a beautiful day. Service is always good--friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. It's an easy choice for a casual brunch, a coffee break, or a laid-back meal with friends. Reliable, tasty, and worth coming back to.

Came in here for a sweet crepe before my commute. I got the Pigalle - strawberries, bananas & chocolate. I paid for my food, sat down in my car to eat, and my first bite tasted as if it was mixed with something savory. As I kept eating I was getting this off putting taste. I took a look at my fork for the next bite and found a hair in my food. Absolutely disgusted. The chef who was making my crepe was stuffing his face eating, while handling cut strawberries and bananas. I was sitting at the bar watching him prepare my food, thinking okay, maybe he hasn't had a lunch, hungry & cooking. Idk. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this is disgusting. Never coming back here.

Not too crowded on Friday mornings (granted most people are working). The food is good and the service is quick, not much more to add. I had their Bisous crepe which is definitely sweet, but delicious nonetheless. It's a crepe with strawberry, banana, mango, Nutella and some ice cream on the side. Solid place to go in the mall located on the corner where your turn into the parking structure (equinox side).

I went to this place on a whim. There was a car show in the area and I haven't been to an authentic French bistro in a while. I wasn't feeling like crepes but I was looking for a hearty brunch to keep going. The place is quiet, good for conversation with friends. The music and sounds are calming just like a luxury spa. The food was really good! I ordered the French onion soup. It was pretty hearty and I thought I was full by the time I got done with it. I ordered the mushroom and bacon omelette and it was a huge plate! The serving size is enough for leftovers. I also tried the lemonade and it's very fizzy and bubbly. Service was very kind. I was sad that the poutine had sold out but our host assured me it would be back after thanksgiving. Overall highly recommend!

I got here right when it opened on a weekday. We were welcomed immediately and we ordered the Belgian waffle and Eggs Benedict. Everything tasted quite delicious. I wish the Belgian waffle came with some fruits and whipped cream on the top but overall it was filling and my friend really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. This place is situated in the promenade plaza and parking was abundant. It is on the first floor. I liked that the table setting was simple and seating was spacious. The waiter was very kind and took our order immediately.

Tomas was able to help me pick out a wine that paired well with the dish I wanted to try out which was the beef bourgignon. FYI they have a small bar with beers and authentic French wines - absolutely lovely! The dish was delicious and I really loved the atmospheres which made me feel like I was back in Paris. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the busy LA scene.

Oooh la la....a French bistro in San Pedro! Well, obviously we had to try it out. Compagnon oozes…read moretraditional French decor, an umbrella covered patio outside, a cosy bistro with full bar inside, and the comprehensive wine list decorating the wall, by the glass and the bottle. Like most French bistro they have a shorter but traditional menu, with the usual suspects - onion soup, pate, escargot, charcuterie board, mussels, steak frites, Bouillabaisse - but what drew us in was the duck confit cassoulet. We have eaten cassoulet in Carcasonne, the home of cassoulet, and this was definitely worthy of the name. Gamey, savoury, duck falling off the bone, beans swimming in an umami broth, definitely lip lickingly good. However the vegetarian cassoulet was not as flavourful, it was nice, but needed more garlic, pepper, some herbs or seasoning, a little more oomph. The fennel was delish, but the beans bordering on bland and there was very little broth to dip my baguette into. With a belly full of beans we decided to order dessert because why not! Life is short, eat dessert, c'est la vie. Creme brulee was creamy with a tappingly good sugar crust, and the chocolate mousse had a nice consistency but was overwhelmed by cinnamon, which was a pity. It was definitely worth the visit for the Duck cassoulet, and we will visit again to try the onion soup and moules.

Well... First time here at this "specific" Yellow Vase"…read more Positives.... Clean, spacious, (if you include inside and out), and nice locale... Close to where the wifey wanted to shop, (aka, happy wife, happy life), but I too like the mens Bath & Body products. But I digress... We both got paninis, and in their defense, both were tasty. Me... chipotle chicken, the wife, turkey I think but I have no idea. The "fries or salad option" is offered and me, being the fat effer that I am, chose salad, as did the lovely wifey. Results. Pannini's, i.e. both of them, were very tasty. Not the knock your sock off kick my arse variety, but very tasty. Bread is delicious... That said... here is kicker #1. You are offered a 'Salad or a Fry', with your panini. Again. the both of us, attending to our respective diets, chose the salad option. Well... kick me in the arse and call me a donkey's child because I could have picked more greens outta my teeth after a snack sesh with broccoli after flossing, than this B.S... Again, I digress. What really gets me is the cost of two small, albeit tasty, panini's, that was $54... Really? Call me a cheapskate but I personally believe that $54 should at least give you a little... Well, I'll stop there... JMHO.

This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. I will say that the prices are a bit steep for me. Very glad we came during the happy hour. But really want to return to try the food and more drinks. Maybe on a special date night out!
