What an amazing find. The latte was out of this world and I like they have healthier options in food. Everything was delicious. Excellent service. Cute little place, parking may be hard to find.

This little coffee shop is one block from the beach. They have a small kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch items. I only ordered a latte, which was good. Service is nice. This is nothing out of the ordinary. Kind of a no frills spot. The meals I observed, looked tasty. They do have a lot of competition from trendy coffee shops nearby. It's all in what you want.

In March 2026 m, I came back to eat and review Sacks on the beach after not eating here in a few years. There are many options in the area, but I wanted to see what their lunch special was. For a low price, you can get a half sandwich and salad. Can I say this, it was a very nice experience! I came back again and got a different sandwich and again it was very good. Their pasta salad is delicious and their sandwich/special is enough to keep you full. It has a very relaxed vibe and it was more relaxed this time. Service is friendly and fast during brunch hour. I'll be back to try more... Oh yeah, I love their box of snack pop goodies.

This place has so many things on their menu that sound so yummy that it was hard for me to decide what I wanted. I was also hungry too so it took me a bit longer. :/ I ordered the BLAT. It was the perfect sandwich for a beautiful day as I people watched and would stare at the beach that was about two blocks away. It also came with a choice of mixed greens, pasta salad, quinoa salad, or soup. I got a bag of chips. I also ordered a frappuccino mocha. It was good. Service was quick and they were friendly. :)

Came for the $7.50 lunch special, stayed for the tasty food and nice staff. The cashier(Irene) really help me make my decision as this is my first time here. I went with her suggestion and I'm full and happy. Will come back. The cook Jesus was also very pleasant.

A basic coffee shop 1- overall It's counter service. The interior is worn and has seen better days. The coffee is fine. The pastries are fine. You can sit inside or outside and it's on a corner so plenty of car watching. 2- service / ambiance The counter service is done with a scowl. There are never happy folks working here. Not that I need deliriously happy workers , but having "Debbie downer " at the start of the day is brutal. It's not going to be squeaky clean like a Starbucks. Think old , worn, shabby. Aka. Has character 3- accompaniment They do have vegan and vegetarian options. 4- parking Street pay parking in front. There is a free parking garage (don't bring a truck ) and -starting in the next street north - there is free street parking (check the signs for street cleaning days) 5- conclusion I usually meet up for a morning coffee with a friend who lives within walking distance - which is why we meet here. Otherwise I'm not sure I would go. There are nicer non corporate options in riviera alone.

Was in town for a quick trip to pick something up my son went for a run on the beach and we had lunch here afterward. What a great location. The food was homemade / scratch made & fantastic. Highly recommend you stop in and try it. Today is June 1, 2024 and it was a gorgeous day. We sat outside. We had a view of the ocean. I had the Rosarita rap and my son had the Italiano wrap. Both scratch made excellent.

Yuck! I can't believe i spent $10 on that! They use basic Thomas bagels which I believe they microwave not toasted. The eggs I feel they microwave and there is zero salt or pepper. It's was a mushy oily mess with zero flavor. I will not be coming here again.

The go to spot before we go on a walk to the beach! Our order is always the breakfast in France, it so good. Would be nice to have more of that jelly in there lol. It comes with a small portion of fresh fruits. The coffee lately though hasn't been good. We usually get black coffee and it's been tasting like water down black coffee. Service is good, workers are very polite. We like to eat outside, sets out the vibes :)

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

The private shared parking lot had multiple empty spaces on a Wednesday afternoon. There is some seating but not a lot, and I was getting it to go anyway. When I came up, the employees immediately greeted me with a sample of their new Guava CitrusTeafresher which I absolutely loved since I usually do prefer fruit teas over milk teas. I ordered that with less sweetness along with their most popular drink, the Boya Jasmine Green Tea Latte. From what I heard from others, I came in with high expectations of the actual tea itself and thought their drinks would highlight a strong jasmine tea fragrance and flavor. While the Boya Jasmine was a good drink overall, I was slightly let down because the tea flavor was a bit more diluted than I had expected. However, the drink was still pretty solid. Next time I'd probably do less sweet to bring out the tea more. The Guava refresher, on the other hand, was my fave. Unlike other tea spots where their fruit teas are made from syrups and are overly sweet, this genuinely tasted like they had squeezed real Guava in green tea. It was definitely refreshing and the added lime in the drink also brought some tanginess. Service was stellar as well. And I love the concept of being able to sample teas. Overall, my drinks were solid but for a place so popular I expected a tiny bit more. However, I still enjoyed my experience here and will likely come again.
