I was in search of crepes in the area and found that this place was open on a Sunday afternoon. No dine-in, but they have an outdoor patio on the side with about 5 tables. They have 2 other tables in front of the entrance I ordered the royal crepe, which contains strawberry, banana, Nutella, and whipped cream. This is my go-to crepe order. Getting it a la mode is $1.50 extra, but I opted not to because it was chilly today. Overall, the crepe was good and it came out fast. But there was nothing special about it flavor or portion wise. It'll definitely satisfy a craving, but it's not memorable enough to return to. As for service, it was pretty neutral. The lady at the register was just neutral: not friendly, but also not giving any bad vibes or anything like that. Table clean-up was kinda slow and all the tables had dirty dishes on them from past patrons by the time we left. So far the lady (who seemed to be the only one working at the time? Unless there's a cook in the back?) came out only to deliver the food to people eating, brought dirty dishes from one vacated table, and that's it. There were like, 4 other tables with plates and cups just chilling there, which was kind of weird. But yeah, nothing particularly good or bad about this place. Just mediocre! read more

This place deserves it's five stars. It's a place that sells crepes, both sweet and savory. How can you go wrong? I ordered both savory and sweet. Both were good both were filling. The coffee drinks we ordered we're all good. The outdoor patio was set back from the street enough that there was not much car noise, which is a blessing if you know what I mean. I would definitely go back to this place, trust me it's worth it. But don't go because I don't want the place to become too crowded so I should tell you it's not good but I'm not used to lying so I can't do that either. What a gem! Stepping into this restaurant really makes me feel like I am in a true Parisian cafe in France. I came here on a Wednesday morning with some of my girlfriends for breakfast. They were offering a breakfast special which included eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, and a cup of joe for about $10 - you really cannot beat that price in Old Town! Once we ordered the food from the cashier, they gave us a number and mentioned to us to find a seat anywhere in the restaurant. We had the option to sit inside or out. As it was early in the morning, it was a bit cold, so we opted for the inside seating. The outdoor patio area looked really cute though! It would make for a great place during lunch on a nice Sunny day. Everything came out just as expected, no surprises. The coffee was great, and was even provided in one of those European style coffee cups! Service was also great - they attended to all of our needs on a need by basis. I don't even want to write this review, because I don't want anyone to know about my well-kept crepe place. I really want to keep this a secret, but I can't any longer. I absolutely go "bonkers" for the Crepe Royal. It's my ultimate favorite sweet crepe on the menu. I always order it because I'm a creature of perfection. The strawberries, bananas, and chocolate/Nutella are a perfect combination for a brunch on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Along with a nice cup of latte or hot tea, you can't go wrong with anything else on the menu board either. I love the choice of indoor and outdoor seating because, when we have our little terrier with us, we can sit outside. The garden-like ambiance is a little slice of heaven - away from the "walking crowds" along Old Town Pasadena. It has a nice fountain and little lights that wrap around the trees and fence. If you want to pretend to be in someone's small garden, you should check out Crepes de Paris. I would not steer you wrong. read more

I've been to Paris 8 to 12 times and I can say that their service leaves little to be desired. Specially the waitress with the long braid. She appears As if she doesn't want to work here. I noticed there were several tables that were not clean outside, and when we ask her for a warm towel so that we can clean it ourselves, she appeared to act reluctant as if she didn't even want to do it for us. When she came back, she returned with a slightly wet paper cloth, an attitude and only wiped certain sections of the table, and that was it. With all the sanitary and Covid issues people are facing today, you would think that she would take the time to wipe down the entire table. The woman at the front counter was very friendly when she took our order. It was only the woman who brought our food with the long braid who appeared very rude, and so she was bothered and did not want to serve anyone. The French onion soup is truly not French onion soup at this restaurant. It appears as though they put croutons that you would buy at Costco inside the prepackaged flavorless broth , along with canned onions, and the cheese didn't appear to be the correct type of cheese. I only took a few bites and I put it aside. The only thing that seemed halfway decent was the turkey sandwich and the mango smoothie. Although it appeared as though they put more ice in the smoothie than what I'm used to. If you've never been to Paris before, or any part of France, nobody would know the difference. However I have been to France many times and I can tell you that they get a low score on friendliness, cleanliness and authenticity when it comes to the food. It's so sad that I even have to give a review like this, because this place from the outside appears to have so much potential, however very little willingness to make a pleasant experience a memorable experience where you'd be inclined to return. This place is so cute! Bright and yellow, quiet, quaint and charming. We had the Curry Chicken crepe and Chicken Spinach (cream sauce). Their crepes were good, the base is very chewy and stuffed generously with cheese and sauce (so maybe if you're lactose intolerant like my bf, ask to hold back). The curry cream sauce was good, with a good balance of the curry flavor and cream, though both of the sauces made the crepe really filling. I really liked that their chicken was grilled and meaty, none of that deli chicken stuff. The crepes are pretty big in general, so I'd recommend maybe getting one savory, one sweet to share! Also, the street parking outside is so weird cause you have to download an app if you don't have quarters (no card). Hate to start this off on a bad note but in my personal opinion customer service is everything and service was not so good. There must of been about 4 people the most already seated and waiting, I did notice there was only a male cashier and a chef to be seen. I didn't mind not being greeted on the way in but I do mind when an employee is not friendly or not helpful. It was my first time here so of course I had questions about the menu and what the plates came with, that alone seem to annoy the cashier and I was given very short answers (expressions tell it all). Enough about that. I walked in to this cool trendy location for breakfast, I looked around to admire such cool decor and setup. Just by looking around I was sure the food was going to be good. This place had indoor and such a cool relaxing out door seating. I went in with the intentions of ordering breakfast but instead I ordered breakfast and lunch (Cause I am an adult and I can do that) lol. I placed my order which was the breakfast special and the turkey avocado croissant w/ a side salad, if you get the chips instead it's just a bag of chips and they only have two options. I sat down and in just a few minutes my order was brought to my table. My plate looked so good and and I couldn't wait to try it, sure enough my sandwich was delicious and the dressing to my salad was so tasteful. I was definitely satisfied and can't wait to come try something else. Man, I wanted to love this place. Cozy little hang-out with a nice patio, the way Americans are supposed to think french cafés look like. My wife and I went for the breakfast offer - two eggs with hash and bacon. Big mistake. One should not eat american breakfast in a french café. The eggs were ok - swimming in cheap oil, the hash and bacon as well, far from being crisp. The marmelade came in the classic american one-star-hotel plastic portions. Sorry, there is so much potential. I am really really (really!) far from being a racist, i love the mexican people and their culture. If I ran an authentic french cafe, I would possibly look for an alternative. Would I go again? Possibly not - but that's because I am not a big sweet eater. Some one wrote "better crepes than Paris". While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers boxed to take home? As a dog owner, I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea... I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first, I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. So I came in here a Tuesday afternoon craving for something sweet. I saw this cute on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. Ordered 2 crepes because I'm always starving but, my surprise was the crepes are huge!!! It taste very good, fresh and one is enough... Trust me!! Iced mocha very good; strong coffee taste but really good. It is a small place but very cozy. Very French style. We ordered our food and got a seat outside in their little courtyard, most of the tables are in the sun so finding a good spot can be hassle. I ordered a coffee which was cold not even warm, I also had the La Jardinaire, and a banana crepe, my hubby had the ham and cheese crepe, which came with a side of honey mustard. We had wanted to try this place for a while. We finally did and instantly regretted it after we got our food. The cashier wasn't good and wasn't horrible. Just bare minimum service. He took my order which is the bare minimum required of him. We ordered two sweet crepes and a hot caramel latte. Sat down inside and had to wipe down the table with our own disinfectant wipes because honestly the place looked dirty. The whole place looks as though it needs a serious deep cleaning. The walls and floors looked so bad. Anyway, we didn't have to wait long for our order. Nothing special about the taste of the crepes way too much chocolate and the bananas were cut so big. My plate smelled like old egg as if the dishes hadn't been washed properly and my fork was sticky. The coffee wasn't good either. So we just called it a loss and decided to walk out. We took longer to order than we did to eat. Mad that we spent 30 dollars after tip just to walk out in 10 minutes all grossed out. Also, the kitchens music was louder than the cafes music and I speak spanish and heard one of the employees use foul language.
