Looks cute, banana crepe was fine for kids, Moulin Rouge and St. Louis were served in an absurd pool of sauce that was dripping off the plate and made them both inedible after two bites. So-so espresso served in a cup full of grounds. read more

I was hesitant to leave this kind of review because I've worked in food service myself for 5+ years, but unfortunately the atmosphere created was so hostile that I genuinely felt I couldn't enjoy my time here. I've been here a handful of times now, each time being helped by the same cashier who has a general attitude of "if you ask me to do any work I'm going to kill myself or you." I ordered coffee with cream and received a black coffee, but when I asked for some creamer I got a huff and puff. My sister and I were stared at, borderline glared at while dining. None of this would ever bother me enough to warrant a review, but beyond that the prices do not justify the food. Was it thin dough and cream? Sure. Was it edible? Definitely. Was the experience worth $15+/person? Definitely not. read more

Hours on Saturdays say they are open at 8am. Even the door says this, but at 8:15am, they were still closed

The good things: The front counter staff member is personable, pleased to interact w/customers, and knowledgable about the food and beverages. The crepes were buttery and well-made. I hoped that the dessert crepes will also be delicious. The staff member (a petite, Latina young lady) with the long braid appeared not to enjoy working with the public. The table that we were seated at was not cleaned prior to sitting down, the table had multiple places with dried food on its surface. My companion let the server know that the table needed to be cleaned. We waited until the table was cleaned to begin eating lunch. This "cleaning" was done by the waitress w/the long, two- toned ponytail. She came to the table with a small, moist washcloth, she dabbed at the half of the table, (the part where we weren't seated), and it appeared that she was unhappy to be performing that duty. The other 1/2 of the table was left uncleared w/dried food still on the table. My companion and I looked at each other and sighed, we'd hoped to return to this restaurant, so - we awaited the food. The salad looked good. The chicken, mushroom & black olives crepe looked good. The smoothie looked good. The salad was good The crepe was rich, tasting and good. The smoothie was watery., but it WAS hot outside, so... My companion was very dissatisfied w/the French onion soup; it was watery and tasted like instant soup, there weren't many onions in the soup, there was no sherry in the soup, the French bread that is usually on the top of French onion soup, was croutons, the cheese on top of the soup was partially melted. The soup was a major disappointment. The dirty table was disappointingly, but could have been easily and smilingly resolved. The sullen waitress was a problem. The homeless guy who came into the patio, after exhibiting some loud response to a synapse misfiring, plugged up his phone in the patio outlet, and stood outside to await his phone charge. We left rapidly when he ambled in. It's a shame; this is a nice location, they could tweek the soup recipe, ingredients & preparation, retrain and/or replace some of the serving staff - and the result would be more return customers and customer satisfaction. As this point, my companion doesn't plan to return, though I had considered trying a sweet crepe. ...then the homeless guy started yelling and walked in the patio.... read more

Run. Had a piece of plastic in one crepe and long hair in another. Will never come back.

Loved this place, its soo cute and homey and has a paris theme to it. ordered and then we sat in their patio and had our dessert. place is very clean, bathroom is very clean and the service is very nice. Crepes were awesome, we had the banana, nutella and strawberry one and it was delicious Nutella wasn't enough so I asked for a side of it and I was charged. I know it might be a big deal but the nutella on the crepe wasn't enough for the size of it. a $1.50 for a side was a bit excessive but it is what it is. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since forever and I finally did! I had to make sure they were opened, since the day I went was New Year's. And to my surprise, they were! This place is a little bit hidden in Old Town Pasadena, but is such a great place for my sweet tooth lovers out there! It's a nice cozy cafe and there's a small patio outside where people can also enjoy their crepes. I love crepes to be a thin pancake-y texture, compared to the crunchy ones that have been trending. I ordered the chocolate crepe, which just came with dark chocolate and homemade whipped cream. Simple and delicious! My mom ordered a savory crepe, one with cream, mushrooms, spinach, and chicken. It was my first time trying a savory crepe, and was quite interesting. The only thing that I didn't like about her crepe was that it was too runny with the cream. But it was all fairly priced too. Definitely want to come back to try other crepes but this is a great place to grab breakfast or brunch with some gals! read more

Great place to have a crepe. Cute patio, too. Nice to sit out there on a warm summer night.

Just such a long wait! One crepe came out after 45 minutes and then two others came after another 20 minutes. Our last crepe we were going to leave but they got it to us to go just as we were out the door. Really delicious though. Maybe it was a short staffed day? read more

Bad service and employee there doesnt feel she want to serve It's a cozy place but not really good food

Enjoyed the Alphabet omelet and the Royal crepe and both were delicious!! Place is tiny with outdoor seating and we enjoyed our meal. If the outdoor area was cleaned up a little, it would make the place a lot nicer. I'll definitely be back to try all of the other crepes! Would recommend! read more

First of all Karina had amazing customer service and was extremely kind! Even though I had came off the bat asking if she had tried the sparkling lemonade she modestly informed me that it was her fist day on the job. I ended up enjoying it with the most delicious mixed berry crepe I've had in awhile. Lovely experience. Thank you ! read more

Crepes de Paris - Mixed Berries Grepe , Banana Grepe, Paris special - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Pasadena, California

My partner and I have ordered from here more times than I can count, so it's really upsetting to end up having to write this review to give them 2 stars. This is due to their questionable customer service to people who have ordered from them at LEAST 30 times. No that's not an exaggeration; we truly are loyal customers. More often than not my partner would get me the Paris Special with a few modifications, and they've always made it delicious. I would definitely get it with varying amounts of sauce, but it was always enough to find the meal very enjoyable. Fast forward to today, my partner brought me back the exact same dish I have ordered 10+ times, and this time I found it way too dry to eat. The sauce was incredibly abysmal. So my partner walks back to tell them about this and whoever he confronts tells him to bring BACK the entire dish. I understand that there are people out there who want to get a free meal this way, but why would they do that to customers who have been there so many times? Couldn't they request a picture? Before I'm accused of wanting to keep the dish, I want to emphasize how infuriating it was to have to take a total of 3 round trips for ONE item. The first trip to go get the meal, second to tell them what happened, and third to bring back the stupid dish they're going to have to discard anyways. So yeah...I'm just really disappointed with how they've treated us, and now I feel like I'll think twice before ordering again since they make you jump through hoops to fix an issue. To whoever is reading this, make sure your dish is up to par as soon as you get it. Otherwise, once you get home and notice something is wrong, make sure to bring the dish to return it to them. read more

Cute & reasonably priced little enclave with old world charm for breakfast or lunch . The coffee is good and crepes seem authentically French . (?) you order and pay at the counter then they deliver to your table inside or outside on the patio. The only problem with the patio is the street noise --- you just have to pretend the fire trucks and sirens screaming by are a symphony . There is meter parking on Fair Oaks and the nearest side street ( Dayton) . read more

I eat here every time I am in town and I have never been disappointed. The savory crepes are delicious and make for a fabulous lunch. The dessert crepes are wonderful for a lunch or a dessert. I ordered the hot ham and cheese sandwich with a side salad. Its a simple tasty sand which, you do have a choice of french, whole wheat or croissant. Your choice on the side is chips or salad. I think they should seriously consider adding pomme frits. I went with the french bread and salad. It was pretty decent sandwich, but nothing extraordinary. I'm sure heir forte are the crepes. What is a pleasant surprise, is the price. Pricing is very economical, in the area is at a premium. read more

My partner and I have visited twice now, both times for an evening meal. Beautiful ambiance and beautiful food. They have a clean, air-conditioned, tastefully-decorated inside space with multiple tables, if you prefer (also where you order your meal)...or an ample-sized adjacent patio, accessed through a side door. We have opted for the latter space both times. In the center of the patio, a large, stone once-upon-a-time-a-fountain resides, filled on every level with a wide variety of succulents. A charming use of the fixture. In the evening, the trees in the area glow with the soft, white lights wrapped around their trunks, intertwined with a multitude of decorative ornaments. Very comforting, soothing combination. The food!!! They have a large menu with many options, both savory and sweet. On the first visit, I ordered the Ham & Cheese. It was wonderful. I've had a similar one at CrepeMaker in Irvine (no longer open). There's something really special about the texture of these crepes, though, and that is what drew me back for a second visit. This time I ordered the Vive La France (sans red peppers). Shrimp, mozzarella/Parmesan cheeses, all in a creamy white wine sauce. The taste was UNREAL. It was on par with the best meal I've ever had in my life, and that was Coq Au Vin. This is certainly the best crepe I've ever tasted in my life...no contest or question. At some point I'll have to try their sweet crepes, as both visits have been focused on the savory ones. The service is kind and excellent as well, and they always make a couple rounds after delivering your food to make sure your meal is going well. I very much look forward to returning and regularly supporting this establishment. I enthusiastically recommend a visit. read more

I ate here yesterday by chance and I liked the food but I can't get over the employee not properly wearing a mask. It covered his mouth but not his nose. I asked him to please fix his mask and he ignored me. They have a sign in the front with very clear instructions on how masks are to be worn while inside the establishment which clearly the employees aren't taking seriously and leaves me to wonder if other patrons are as well. We're a year into this pandemic. There's no excuses to not wear a mask properly inside a business. Seeing as others have yelped the same thing, clearly it's an unfortunate trend here. The outside area is really nice and the food is good but I will not be coming back since public health is not a priority here. read more

Horrid place! Waited for almost an hour because of the incompetence behind the counter. For crepes! First they completely forgot our ticket even if there were obly 3 parties in the entire place. Beware! You'll need to wait close to an hour for crepes. When I went back to ask about my order at around the half-hour point, they looked confused and was flipping through their tickets, and it became clear they had started it at that time. Service staff were disinterested and claimed it was due to them being "very busy" -- except there were only 3 parties around at the time... The crepe was seriously disappointing too y'all. I placed an order on GrubHub and it was the worst! I placed it well ahead for pick up and the original time was 10:01am. I went in at 10:05 because my drive was from the Torrance to Pasadena, so it should have been more than enough time. All bad, when I asked, the first female stated that GrubHub has just processed the order and a second female at the register was somewhat apologetic but stated they were behind on their orders. I checked on my order and it then stated that pick up was going to be between 10:19-10:39, so I called GrubHub and they stated that the restaurant or place had moved the time on their own, yet the place was blaming GrubHuB. GrubHub also stated that they submitted the order and it was processed 2 mins after, yet I was going on 40 mins of waiting. Then I went inside again and was waiting when one of the females asked me if I still wanted my order, I was so confused because I had not cancelled with them. I answered just that, "I'm still here and I have not cancelled anything." She asked again and I reiterated what I said. I also told her I was confused and she stated that they had not started on my order because she thought I was going to cancel. I was so upset! I asked her for their names and she asked me why I needed to know. I explained, she was representing the place where she was working at and I wanted to speak or eventually write to the owner and mention her name. She ignored me and walked away instead. She had bleached long hair and I think her name was Virginia, unless she told GrubHub another name. The other female had dark black hair with glasses and displayed some empathy or my wait time and tried to explain that they only had one chef and lost of orders. I would have understood, but behind the counter and in the cooking area, the chef or cook was actually on his cell phone and when I inquired about it, the first female with the long bleached hair came and stated that he was supposedly talking to their manager, no gloves, no sanitation, no nothing and when he noticed that I mentioned that, he moved from the view. I called GrubHub again this was an hour later and still no food. GrubHub offered $5.00 refund, I was livid!!! The same female with the bleached long hair on a ponytail came out and just handed me a bag and walked away with a word. Rude service, untimely mannerisms, and No, I didn't try their food after all of this. They messed up my Mother's Day breakfast. Dad ate one of the breakfasts and stated it was cold, why would they take so long when it wasn't even going to be warm. Look elsewhere if you want a half decent experience. read more

It's got that over the top "French" decor from Marshall's and staff that rush you to order. There weren't any other customers, yet there was no leisurely feeling to enjoy our dessert. Overall it was $9 and not worth it or enjoyable. I won't go again. read more

We stopped here for a quick breakfast/brunch while joining CicLAvia in Pasadena on 5/31/15. Basically, you order at the front counter and they bring your order to you. I ordered the savory spinach and chicken crepe. I must say it was pretty good considering I'm a huge fan of crepes and don't find too many decent places who serve and prep them right. The coffee here is absolutely superb and served fresh and hot! Staff are nice pleasant. We ate at their patio area which was a perfect day for it. read more

So my friend and I wanted to get brunch at Russell's but dangggg that wait was wayyy too long. So then we stumbled upon this crepe place since it said they serve breakfast. Environment: The setup was very cute. The wall decors and the cute chairs and tables with the flowers feels like I'm kind of in Paris or something. They also have outdoor seating towards the back. The employees are friendly and welcoming. Food: So I probably should have gotten a breakfast crepe since this is a crepe place but I really wanted hashbrowns and the breakfast meal was the only one that had hashbrowns so I got it. It came with two strips of bacon, two half pieces of toasts, eggs, and two hashbrowns. I was disappointed in the hashbrowns because they weren't like the regular hashbrowns, they were like the McDonald's hashbrowns :( It was a sad looking plate. I definitely didn't feel full after and it just wasn't something I would pay for over $7 for. I could make this at home for a cheaper price! My friend and I also got the "Favorite" crepe which came with strawberries, some raspberry sauce and powdered sugar. Don't remember exactly what was in it but there were a lot of strawberries. That tasted pretty good. That cost a little over $8. Again, it wasn't too filling. Maybe crepes are not suppose to be filling and be more of a snack. I haven't had too many crepes in my life so far so yeah... Overall, I think this place is just okay. Cute setup but the food is alright. Maybe I should give it another shot with their savory/sweet crepes and just stay away from anything that isn't haha. Maybe I chose the wrong dish. I guess we'll see next time! read more

The coffee is good. If you are an inexperienced crêpe eater they might be acceptable. These crepes taste like giant raviolis. The crêpe is enough for three, but I don't ever recall having a crêpe that' heavy --it should be delicate and light. These unfortunately are not French. read more

Yeah, so we were in the mood for some French eats but I was severely disappointed by my overall experience. Things started off bad, as we walked in, and noticed a lady hacking up a lung into her plate in between taking breaths from her oxygen tank while we stood in line behind some uppity tourists who could not decide what to order. When it was time for us to order, we did, then I went to pay and noticed that they make you tip arbitrarily on the receipt. Fuck that, I left the field blank. Why would I tip ahead of time? How do I know service or the meal won't suck? Of course, when we sat down, it came back to me. Service sucked. We waited for our meal for what seemed to be forever. Looks like the cooks/server multi-task and do everything, so when our food finally came out the dude bringing it to us was less than enthused. When we thanked him for it he just replied with "uh-huh." Really? I just dropped $30 for a meal. I had the French onion soup, and a very flat and tasteless bacon/avocado omelet. The soup was good, though. I know there's another French eatery walking distance from this one and will try that one next time. I will never return to this joint. It's bocoup merde. read more

Ok so to be fair, I just ordered a regular latte and so I think it unfair to base an entire fate of a business on Yelp hinging it all on the taste of their latte when they are known for crepes. I just thought since their other four locations have high marks I think it would be safe to rate on the side of caution with high ratings. They were quick with the order and the price was fair at just over $3.00. I like that they are one block from the playground at Central Park in Pasadena where I go with my daughter often.
