Ordered a cake in advance from this location location for a family dinner. The man who took my order over the phone, who as well was there on site when I came to pick it up was extremely friendly and gracious. We opted for the classic or traditional crêpe cake. The man equates this flavor, similar to a crème brûlée due to the amount of vanilla and the sugary topping. This cake did not disappoint as the entire family absolutely adored it, and loved it, and could not believe that it was made out of multiple multiple layers of individual crêpes being laid out and separated by thin layers of cream. Improvement is definitely the vanilla flavoring. I would definitely try the other flavors as I believe there was Matcha. Also got very lucky with parking as this location is in the heart of Waikiki on Beachwalk.

I LOVE THESE CAKES. There is nothing else like it. The gentleman that helped me choose flavors for the get together I was bringing them too has a real passion for this business also. He was kind and knowledge. This quaint little cafe was quiet when I went at noon and is a nice escape from the Waikiki madness.

This little place on Beach Walk offers the amazing Lady M cake that's air flown from New York I believe. If you have tried it, you'll be hooked. The texture is creamy and flavor is not overly sweet. They offer passion fruit, chocolate, Matha and original flavors. It's definitely worth a try. They also sell the Japanese Royce chocolate and chocolate chip covered potato chips. Also VEEY GOOD!

Chocolate mille crepe and rose milk tea

A charming little shop on Oahu offers the best mille crêpes around. My personal favorite is the chocolate mille crêpe, its flavor is rich yet perfectly balanced, never overly sweet. The beautifully designed dessertware adds an extra touch of elegance, making teatime even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, and shared the story of Lady M with us.

Beautiful cafe with amazing cakes and delicious tea. The crepe cakes were perfect and not too sweet. Such a lovely experience. Service was exceptional. The Royce chocolates are the perfect gifts for loved ones! Small parking lot on the side.

I found the hole in a wall quiet tea room across of my staycation hotel by chance! I ordered rose tea in a tiny decorated tea pot, with cheesecake. Ohmy graciously made creamy not sweet perfect size with my tea! They also carry the most amazing flavor of the made in Hokkaido northern part of Japan, NAMA CHOCOLATE or raw chocolate of all the flavors sold at Haneda and Narita International airport Omiyage souvenir corner that has popular Japanese cuisine to take home. Please check my Photos I took where Kevin prepares it with perfection! His knowledge of their blend of teas are very educational for me for I love drinking loose tea leaves with my tarts of tea that reminded me that Assam tea goes well when making Chai tea from scratch. Kevin and I agree that loose leaf teas taste great than tea bags! They also have slices of sweets such as macrons and whole cakes as well. I heard him say to another clientele next week tiramisu cake. There is limited parking next to the shop., Hours of operation is 11-12noon to 8 pm or was it 7pm? One must try their teas and cakes to go or drink in only a few table setting available inside and outside. Many of his patrons are regulars to go. I highly recommend it to try it out if you're ever in Waikiki...

20 layer passion fruit mille crepe cake

Lady M at Waikiki Tea House is a cute small shop easily missed among towering Waikiki hotels and shopping malls, but what a gem! Next door to Henry's Place with a charming modern facade. I walked by then doubled back to check it out. I was greeted warmly as I admired their masterpieces. The mille crepe cakes caught my eye and of course I had to try the famous 20 layer passion fruit mille crepe cake! It was light but subtly chewy and divine. What a treat! Pricey at $10 per slice but par for the course for similar decadent treats in Hawaii. Highly recommended.

They have beautiful displays of fancy desserts and on shelves cookies and Madeleines. I picked a few fruity desserts to try macarons, lemon tart, mango pudding, tropical fromage. I wanted to get their fruit tart but the fruit on top looked dry and not as pretty and glossy. My favorite was the tropical fromage which was light and airy with a really nice fruit flavor. The mango panna cotta was my second favorite which included the mango bits on top - a nice touch - and the cream nice and rich. Lemon tart had an odd taste to it. Should have went with the mush peach tart that didn't look as appetizing but probably better. The macarons were my least favorite especially the yuzu and passion fruit flavors that didn't taste anything like those fruits. For $2.50 I wish they were better and not as dry. I am glad I tried them but the prices were a bit much for me.

I thought i'd just buy one or two pastries but i bought six. Yes all six just for me! For lunch i got a jalapeño cream cheese pastry and a cheese hot dog. Both were great, the jalapeño cream cheese pastry has jalapeños inside that are quite hot but blends w the cream cheese really well. I enjoyed it. I also got a hokkaido custard pastry which was nice, light and fluffy and not too sweet which I liked. I also enjoyed an ube pastry with an ube filling on the inside. I thought the chocolate chip bowl was interesting, powdered sugar fills the middle of the pastry so it looks like a bowl, this pastry was a little more dense and not as light. Lastly i got the cream cheese pastry with the round blobs of creme cheese on the top, a bit sweet with the sugar crystals but so good, Make sure to check the app, i had a buy one pastry and get one 50% off coupon. I was too full at the moment to order more food, but I returned on my last evening in Oahu to order a slice of rainbow cake for myself. It was somewhat early in the evening -- probably around 6PM or so -- so the Royal Hawaiian Center food court was getting a little busy but there were still empty tables around. The bakery itself had a few people in line so I perused the display case for other desserts. They had quite a few interesting ones: lilikoi basque cheesecake, Diamond Head puff custard, ube cake. Unfortunately, my appetite is much smaller than it once was, but the cakes looked delicious and the people in front of me all ordered their cakes ahead of time, so they are quite in demand! The cashier took my order quickly and I was able to get a slice of rainbow cake, which had fluffy cream and moist layers of colorful cake. The flavor reminded me of fruity pebbles, but without being overly sweet the way children's cereal used to be. I really liked eating it because it didn't make me feel guilty eating a dessert. I hope I can return to Kulu Kulu sometime and try their other desserts a well!

I have been to their downtown location before. They pretty much sell the same items. I got a slice of rainbow cake $7.99, pastel de nata $4.69 and pain au chocolat $4.79. The rainbow cake was awesome. I could actually taste the different flavors for the different colored layers. The frosting was more of a whipped cream, so it wasn't overly sweet. The pastel de nata was a Portuguese egg tart. The crust was flaky, but the egg custard was so sweet. They overdid it with the sugar. The pain au chocolat was a chocolate danish.
