    French toast eggs bacon

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely neighborhood diner style cafe that serves crepes ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were craving crepes and landed on the gem! We tried the hand cheese egg savoury crepe, pesto bacon savoury crepe and french toast with eggs and bacon. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Crepes were thin and just the right thinness and lots of fillings. A little too much sauce on the pesto savour crepe but still tasty. French toast was done nicely with thick egg and challah type bread. Big portions. Service nice and comfortable. Overall great cafe diner for quick eats in this area.

Oeuff Columbus - delicious ratatouille! Flavorful veggies bring out the taste of the chicken. Unfortunately, the eggs were overcooked and not poached. Crepe - We were really excited about this, but the crepe was just okay. It was difficult to eat as the strawberries were placed inside the crepe instead of on top, making it very slippery and difficult to cut. Generous whip cream serving. Service - We came by later in the afternoon and sat outside, service was slow for us being one of the only customers.

First impression: Last time I was here, it was probably about 10 years ago, and it was absolutely amazing. The customer service was on point, and the ambiance was exactly what I expected. It felt cozy. The food was absolutely incredible. I had at that time strawberries with some peach on a crêpe, and it was awesome. My son had a savory ham and cheese crêpe, and it tasted great. This time around, I came with my daughter and my sister-in-law. We had Nutella crêpes with strawberry and also one with strawberry and banana, and they tasted amazing. However, I have to add that the customer service was not top-notch as it was before. Very negative at the beginning, first impressions. I would've left with the greeting that we received; the tone we were greeted in was not pleasant, and we were shooed away outside. Second impression, the same. My sister-in-law had a wobbly table, and her drink fell. I went inside to get paper towels, and when I told them about the incident, their response was less than satisfactory. Their remark, "Oh, you made a mess?" came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I answered, "Well, yes, on your wobbly table." If it wasn't for my daughter needing or wanting food, we would have left. In addition, the waiter behind the counter seemed very angry and didn't seem to like what they were doing. It made us feel as though our presence and satisfaction weren't important to them. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. On a positive note, our food waiter was very nice and attentive. He greeted us nicely and provided great service. If it weren't for the unpleasant experience with the others, we would have had a great time. However, considering the overall experience, I won't be returning to Crepes on Columbus. It's a shame because the crêpes themselves were exceptional in taste and quality. But the combination of the unwelcoming attitude, dismissive response to the spill, and the lack of attention from certain staff members has left a lasting negative impression. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the customer service aspect to match the outstanding food they serve.

Solid crepe spot. We got one sweet and one savory crepe. The nutella/strawberry/banana crepe was alright, nothing amazing. The savory crepe we got was eggs with pesto & bacon and that was SOLID. We also got a coffee and lavender latte, though the lavender latte doesn't actually have any coffee in it, so be aware. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not too crowded place located right off Columbus.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would probably come back for breakfast but wouldn't get a sweet crepe again.

I got the baked apples, caramel, and crème fraiche crepe. It was good, but the baked apples had a bit of a burnt after taste. Don't think I would order this particular one again, but would come back. Sat outside, there's nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Mushrooms, Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onions Crepe

A great hidden gem on Columbus with the most friendly owner and delicious crepes. The outdoor seating is quite spaced out, and it's a calming view. The food itself was superb. The crepe was perfectly flavored, and the texture of caramelized onions, mushroom, and the slightly sweet goat cheese was the perfect combination. Definitely coming back again, the price is quite reasonable!

Was craving for a simple brunch so we decide to try this place. We ordered the breakfast crepes (smoked salmon, pesto cream and mozzarella cheese) which came with a side of salads and red potato, and pancakes with sausage. The portion size was pretty generous. The staff were super friendly and service was amazing.

Strawberry crepes were very doughy. On feedback, no response to make any attempts to rectify it.

We got the Banter Bowl, which includes pickled carrot, cabbage, watermelon radish, cucumber, edamame, avocado, quinoa, and miso ponzu dressing. You have a choice of meats, so we chose the grilled chicken. Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. The next time I'm back, I will be sure to reorder the Thai crunch wrap. If you have food allergies, they are extremely accommodating and have numerous vegan/vegetarian/GF.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
