My favorite spot for a delicious breakfast and coffee. Great prices, and you can eat outdoors and enjoy the scenery. Service is 10/10.

Great place to eat dinner or brunch! We love their Philly cheese steak crepe. The carmalized onions make it delish. Lots of patio seating and dog friendly!

Been to Crepevine once before and thought it was a good 4 star breakfast spot. I'm sad because I didn't leave a review initially but remember I loved their potatoes. They have a large chalkboard menu of their menu options. They have a wide variety of sweet and savory crepes. Came here on the whim recently to enjoy their sweet crepes and was very disappointed. We got three crepes, their seasonal Biscoff, Tri Berry and Midnight Blues. Biscoff was super good, loved the flavor and sweetness, this was my family's favorite. Tri Berry was like your classic nutella crepe and it was pretty good. But the Tri Berry was horrendous, there was so much rum sauce and made the actual crepe soggy. It was almost like a soup, we barely touched it. We barely touched this one unfortunately.

I've been to Crepevine many times, including the Mountain View and Palo Alto locations as well. It's always a good choice for solid American comfort food. Portions are super generous as well. This time around, we shared the Big Sur sandwich, banana biscoff crepe, parma pasta, and spicy cornbread with jalapeño jelly. Their fries are always great and on the crispier end. Sandwiches are solid, I've tried a handful of them and you can't really go wrong with these. Banana biscoff crepe was quite heavy, I think they used the biscoff cookie butter which was pretty thick in the crepe. I did like the vanilla bean ice cream that came with the crepe though. Parma pasta was nothing mindblowing but just classic hearty vibes. The garlic bread that came with the pasta wasn't great though, quite soggy and flavorless. Personally wasn't a huge fan of the spicy cornbread because I prefer my cornbread to be sweet. Service was good, food came out fast. Will definitely be coming back to the Crepevine locations!

Finally stopped by to give this place a try. First off I love that you order at the counter and then pay before sitting. There's plenty of seating inside and out. The wait staff is very quick with waters and silverware/napkins. The food came out very as well. Me and my husband split the chicken shawarma wrap and it was plenty of food. The chicken had a good flavor and the wrap was stuffed with plenty of pickles. The plate came with both fries and a Caesar salad. Their ranch was also a great pair for the fries. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Gluten free Philly crepe with potatoes and side salad

This is one of those rare places where I can at least get a gluten free crepe. I decided to go in mid-afternoon for a late lunch. they have a chalkboard full of options to pick from. I ordered the Philly savory crepe and a lemonade. I was given a number and picked an open table to sit at. My food and lemonade came in about ten mins of me sitting down. The potatoes were great and I enjoyed the side salad it came with. The crepe was delicious and filled with cheesy steak and peppers. I regretted not getting some hot peppers with it but they did have hot sauces on the table so used that. Decent overall and will come back when I'm in the mood for another gluten free crepe.

Visited for New Year brunch with family - Crepevine is always a hit because of their broad menu & fantastic staff. * Location: Easy to find street or lot parking on Lincoln * Ambiance: Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating, order at cashier and grab a table. * Food: Breakfast & Brunch/Lunch menu with savory and sweet options for everyone. Dedicated juice, coffee, soft drinks menu and beer/wine menu. Food is solid, portions are generous, flavors are consistent. * Staff: Always super attentive, helpful, & make sure each table has everything they need. Brother got a Biscoff Latte, I tried the Petaluma Scramble, mom tried the Santa Rosa SC - we all loved the food. We'll keep coming back!

Had a club sandwich and sweet potato fries from Crepevine for dinner the other night. The sandwich was a triple decker on sourdough with chicken, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I really enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were good, too.

    Buttermilk pancakes (3)
    Raymond M.

The buttermilk pancakes were soft, warm, and thick. They had a fluffy texture that soaked up the syrup well. There's also a complimentary parking garage right next to the restaurant, which makes it convenient.

Of all the breakfast places in the area - which there are many, this one is always a solid option. You need to order your own food at the counter then take a seat and they will bring you your food. This minimizes the additional cost making it more affordable than some of the other options in the area. They have a rather large menu with lots of sweet and savory options to choose from. Both breakfast and lunch options. The portions at this restaurant for breakfast are very generous. I always take home leftovers. The have a very gluten-free friendly menu and their gluten free crepes are really good. There have ample of indoor and outdoor seating but it does get busy on weekends during peek breakfast hours. If you there there by 9 am, you shouldn't have a problem getting a seat. The noise level is average it depending on how many excited kids are eating near your table. Because they have some amazing stacked pancakes and waffles.

Homemade Spicy Cornbread with Jalapeño Jelly

One of my favorite brunch spots in San Jose. I've been coming here for years and the quality has never waned. I usually get the same thing; the Willow Glen crepe. It's a sweet crepe with bananas, strawberries and Nutella served with a side of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I also get a side of crispy bacon so I have something savory. My friend got the Florentine crepe. You have a choice of fries or country potatoes. He also got the cornbread with the jalapeño jelly. It was so good. This place gets busy on weekend mornings but the wait isn't long at all. Good service and nice sitting area outside.

This is my favorite Crepevine location! They are super sweet and attentive here. You order up at the counter and then find a table to sit at, I like the outside seating here. The food is also really good and consistent here, we always like what we order. Chicken shawarma is a go to! It comes with either fries or potatoes and a generous portion of Cesar salad.

Are the gluten-free crepes and pancakes also dairy free?

Crepes, pancakes and waffles are only gluten free, sadly their recipes still have eggs and milk inside their mixtures.

Do you accommodate dietary needs? Substitutions. For medical, allergy etc?

They offer gluten-free, and I know you can switch out a couple of items here and there. I'm sure if you're allergic to nuts or something, they can accommodate that.

Is the feta cheese used pasteurized?

    Unfortunately it is not

Any gluten free menu you items besides salad?

Most crepes can be made gluten free upon request

Do they allow dogs in the outdoor patio?

    Yes they do

    Do you have outdoor dining?

Yes, they have an outdoor patio attached to the restaurant as well as a covered seating area on the street/sidewalk since covid started.

Can you make reservations for a large party?

Maybe... I saw a group of 8 or 10 together when they joined 2 tables together.

Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. If you're in Willow Glen and you don't eat here you have missed out on a wonderful experience. Be kind to one another

The food is still fine, but for what you're paying, I expect it to be better. Milohas (mil hojas) means a thousand layers in Spanish, and one taste of Milohas' pastries will make you understand why they picked that moniker. The Good: * Large shared parking lot * Friendly service * Covered outdoor dining * The crust of the empanadas was buttery, flaky, and delicious. All the fillings were good, but you have to try the Hawaiian filling! This location offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a covered patio area. It can get pretty hot and stuffy in the summer time but they have some fans working overtime. The menu offers a lot of chicken, pork and even veggie options. You can scan the QR code or order via paper menu with a server. I found service to be pretty minimal in my opinion. The fact that they have you order via online and the ask for an 18% tip is so typical these days. Sometimes it doesn't even surprise me. I ordered the buttered corn ramen, subbed for chicken and subbed for spinach noodles. The noodles were good- firm and chewy. The chicken was super tender and soft. The soup was a bit lackluster. I was expecting more depth in flavor but I found it to be on the blander side. I also wish it came with a whole marinated egg rather than half for a $20 bowl. I do like the fact that they offer outdoor dining as well as so much customizability. The toppings are great but the broth is what falls short for me. All in all, not a bad option in terms of ramen for the Bay Area. The options and customization is great and this is a good spot for vegetarians or people looking for something lighter than your typical ramen.

Both were excellent but the Mole was the star. We ended with espresso martinis and a wonderful layered dessert that you must have but I can't remember the name. The pastry on top was just so damned good, on top of layers of lovely things. It was a great time. We got to speak to the owner, Lorena, for a bit. She was busy with all the guests but took a moment to chat. The place has a history that you should ask about. She took it from the ashes of a fire and built this lovely little authentic Mexican restaurant. CONS: I felt it would sell better and feel even more cozy going all the way to white linen tablecloths, water goblets, and more romantic lighting. But that is only my opinion and I know nothing about owning a restaurant. PROS: The food, the drinks, the service, the vibe. Orchid acai bowl ($14, sub in mango for mulberry, add coconut dust): 5/5. so good. Palmetto superfoods is my go-to in the SJ area for acai bowls, this was better despite not as many topping options. Their bases are smoother and creamier, no ice crystals here. Also liked that the fruit was chopped smaller. BAE sandwich ($12): 4/5. good, but definitely not worth a 25 min wait. Textures, freshness were great, but it was missing salt/pepper & spices. The sauce helped, but still underwhelming given how good it looks. Recommend having salt & pepper packets & a bottle of hot sauce available to customers. Cinnamon roll ($5.75): as a cinnamon roll, 3/5. As a morning bun type thing, 4.5/5. This is a case of mistaken identity. It's got a slight crunch, light sweetness, fluffy (not dense). When I order a cinnamon roll, I'm more expecting decadent dessert-for-breakfast laden with sugar & butter, yknow? Loved their dining area, loved how beautifully presented all items were, loved how everything was served at optimal temperature (hot espresso, thoroughly warmed pastry, etc), loved the variety of menu items (I can get an acai bowl and bf can get a sandwich or pastry). Will definitely return at 9 am sharp on weekends, and not order anything after about 9:10!

Found a new coffee spot near Campbell and had to give it a shot!…read more What immediately caught my attention was the variety of drinks they offer. We're talking ube coffee, avocado coffee, banana condensed milk coffee, plus a whole lineup of matcha drinks. Definitely more creative than your typical neighborhood coffee shop! I went with the ube coffee with almond milk. The ube base was a little too sweet for my taste, but once everything was mixed together, the overall sweetness actually balanced out pretty nicely. The espresso also packs a punch -- you get 2 shots with your coffee order, so no complaints there. ‍ The ambience is definitely a highlight. The space is super cute and spacious, and they even have this mini staircase seating area that would be perfect for hanging out with friends. It also has plenty of room for a work-from-café situation The only downside was the service, which felt a bit slow for my liking. That said, they did give customers a heads-up that half of their espresso machine was under maintenance, so I'll give them some grace on that one! Overall: 3.5/5 Giving them an extra +0.5 just for the ambience because the space is genuinely adorable. I'd definitely come back to try their pastries and açaí bowl next time!

I tried the popular baleada, which is a home-made flour tortilla filled with a layer of mashed red beans, queso fresco, eggs and with or without meat (I got it with carne asada). The flour tortilla was just as other described - soft, buttery smooth, almost melt in your mouth goodness. The carne asada was dry and hard so I could've gone without. I bet a braised beef like barbacoa would've been perfect for this item. It also came with salsa and I selected mild which gave it a nice bright flavor. I also ordered a chicken tamale (they also offer pork) and I was surprised to find a whole chicken wing (no skin) stuffed into the tamale! I broke into it using a fork and hit something hard which turned out to be the bones. But honestly, this was one of the best tamales I've tried in a long time. Flavorful, moist, and a nice sized portion. It came wrapped in what I think was banana leaf. The service was fast on a Wednesday night and there were a handful of friendly patrons seated nearby. You could tell that they were regulars. The space was intimate with around 10-15 tables seating about 4 people each. Maya's Cafe menu has a wide assortment of dishes to choose from: serving breakfast dishes like chilaquiles, lunch items such as burritos, or soups and full on dinner plates with rice, beans, and choice of protein. There's even more selection and the whole menu is in Spanish so I'll be sure to use Google Translate next time!
