We bagged our own trash and towels. Classy (not)

Stay away from this place and consider anywhere else. We were in town for a very big, televised event, and wanted to find somewhere quiet and cozy. We've stayed here before but this time it's under new management and was less than wonderful. For starters you have to pay them to change your bedding or refresh your room. It was loud and walls are so thin. Decorations were sloppy and sideways everywhere. The black and white wall treatment in the entry is old fabric that's falling down. I asked for a bandaid and they didn't have any. They showed us the linen closet where we could get our own sheets or towels and do it ourself. Our trashcan was full so they gave us trash bags to clean up our own trash. There was one gentleman who was working the front desk and was very pleasant. The females who worked here were rude and annoyed at any questions, other than one woman who was working at night and very kind. This place is terrible. Watch out for the rotting(?) flooring at the base of the one staircase. They have glued down a rug to cover it up.

The artwork at the Crescent is beautiful!

I stayed here for business and it was perfect. Cute, comfortable, beautiful little Mediterranean cafe Nua on site that makes wonderfully fresh squeezed orange juice each morning. Patrick at the desk was very helpful as I navigated the area. And the valet parking attendant was friendly and kind. Definitely on my go-to list for business travel. Also, the art! Love love love the art that fills the walls.

The lobby entrance centerpiece, a Bowie portrait, got the same bubblegum filter treatment. This Eastwood was on the second floor.

I stayed here recently, about three weeks (according to a bartender) after it became a Sonder property. The hotel itself is nicely done, with great photography lining the walls and some other quirky art. The room was nice, carpet free and with that distressed concrete look on the bathroom floor. Given that it was about $200 while every place around was at least two or four times that, I didn't mind at all that the room was a bit small. The bathroom doors have opaque frosted glass so, if you are with a second guest, the light could affect them if they're sleeping and you need to make a midnight potty visit. Despite the room being near the busy corner, it was insulated well enough that noise was not intrusive to me. Not only is there no digital key but it a real brass key on a brass keychain! Note: There is no elevator/lift. There is a handicapped entrance but there are still some steps (up or down) to reach the floors with rooms. My only real problem with the place is that it still seems to be going through growing pains in its relationship with Sonder, a company that seems to thrive on minimizing staff by using technology, but forcing me to download an app for, worse, forcing the elderly (and handicapped) visitors in the lobby at the same time to call a Boston number to deal with a helper to help them download that app and set up an account isn't conducive to the older clientele more likely to visit this Beverly Hills establishment.

The staff is so amazing. They even provided extra service at the end and gave us a digestif on the house. Very hospitable and personable staff. The food was really good too!

Baño del hotel Sonder , Crescent , Beverly Hills

The worst, believe me, the worst experience I have had in a hotel, after the Marriot Renaissance in New York, has been at the  Sonder, @CrescentHotel, at Los Angeles, California It is not Airbnb, but it is not a hotel either and although, the reservation was made by @AmericanExpress Travel Services USA and they promise you a luxury hotel, Frankly they have no idea what they are selling First: the hotel has no reception. Everything you have to do it online and they give you a code to enter your room. Second: it has no parking. It does not have an elevator to the second floor Third: It does not have room service and normally, there is no one to take care of you It is an old building in the best area of Beverly Hills, adapted to hotel  which look like roadside motels. The bathroom looks like those in a penitentiary at the movies, so small, with that you can't dry it, in the same bathroom after taking a shower The shower is so small that it could fit half a person Decorayion of the bathroom is gray cement wall and that's all To watch TV, you have to connect your phone or computer to Chrome cast. Download the app and give your card numbers in advance The corner where the hotel is located, is extremely noisy.  Beverly Hills has become  as a track for drag racing by Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other sports  noise cars. Just at this corner they turn around Returning to the hotel, the room is truly and embarrassingly ugly The worst disappointments, don't make cleaning or housekeeping service  They do it the day you leave and before the next guest arrives I am not sure about the sanitation measures they are using If you want them to housekeeping or room cleaning, they surprise you by charging an extra $ 30 USD per day or per service The receptionist, if you have one, is a person with zero knowledge of hotel services who simply answers 3 questions and if necessary, teaches you to open your room  with a code because there is no key to access. You get the code thru internet   I still don't understand if it is a hotel or what, because it has being reserved by American Express as a luxury hotel. Either is not an Airbnb, but it pretend to be like they pretend to be like, with out kitchen. My recommendation is that you do not be fooled, neither by the recommendation of American Express Travel Services, neither by the rating of "luxury hotel" on your own webpage, because it is not

There wasnt a single item of this beautiful hotel that I could find fault with.   Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and expertly by a professional and extremely competent front desk staff, who had us not only checked in within seconds, but had upgraded us to a breathtaking suite with amazing views of Beverly Hills.  Bell service for our luggage was so fast they almost beat us to the room!   The newly renovated wing is stunning.  Guest rooms are gorgeously appointed, with just about every amenity a luxury traveler could want.  Despite the modern renovations, they have managed to keep the old charm of this classical beauty, giving you the subtle feeling of a by-gone era, while enjoying modern comfort on a flawless level.   I briefly mentioned to a staff member that I wasn't sure our mini bar was cooling properly, and within thirty minutes, not only was it completely replaced, but a second larger unit was brought in for our wines and other spirits which they had noticed we had brought with us. This was an impressive touch, considering we had not even thought to ask for one. The world class staff saw something they could make better, and made it happen, just like that. Room service was excellent. Food was delivered inhumanly fast, hot, and with top restaurant quality, just what you expect when you stay with the very best. Housekeeping day, and evening turn down service was flawless. A little whisper to our housekeeper for extra water, and we had enough water in our room to fill a bath tub. From the biggest to smallest request, the team at the Beverly Wilshire exceeds your highest level expectations. On that subject, I cannot say enough good things about the incredible staff at this Four Seasons property.  During a few periods of rain, the lobby and door personnel were falling over themselves to provide large luxury umbrellas, door attendants quickly cleaning and ensuring no one was wet, or slipping in the lobby.  There are literally layers of managers overlooking one another, but in contrast to other big name properties and brands, the staff here are all efficient, consummate professionals. No one is just standing around. Everyone takes personal responsibility and initiative for guest comfort and service.  From the housekeepers to the top managers, any request is taken as a personal assignment, treated with the utmost care and urgency, and they ensure it gets done. Always verifying to ensure you are pleased.  Each and every wish is fulfilled with a smile. I never heard the words "no" or "we can't" uttered. Many famous luxury brands try valiantly, but one simply cannot find better service than Four Seasons. They have taken luxury hospitality to an absolute science, and do not compromise on excellence.   Every guest is treated like royalty. Not a single detail is overlooked. From the breathtaking spa, to amazing dining options, this property has it all.  BLVD, the main restaurant and bar, is an iconic establishment with the best views on all Rodeo Drive. The service and food here are simply first class.   I will be writing a separate review just for BLVD, as the restaurant and their staff deserve their own recognition. On a visit several years ago, we received such magnificent service by a server named Surya, that when we had to return to Beverly Hills, there was really no other choice for us than The Beverly Wilshire. More on that incredible experience in my review for BLVD. There is also a new steakhouse, and separate lounge called Cut, by the world renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. This eatery is visually stunning, and the lounge has a classy, sexy, old Hollywood meets the 21st century vibe.  Service was excellent with a huge and professionally curated wine and drink list. There simply aren't enough words of praise one can say about this property and the experience here.   If you visit Southern California, and can afford it, treat yourself to the very best.  The service here is consistently the finest we have experienced anywhere in the US, even among the most elite brands and properties. The Four Seasons has kept, and even elevated this "Grande Dame" of Beverly Hills in all her luxurious glory. Unquestionably of the finest properties in the world to visit. Highly recommend.

Our teacups were refilled before we realized they needed to be. Our food allergies were met with ease and grace. It was the first time dining out that we did not feel extra attention given to the table for our food allergies. Daniel simply named our allergen free replacements without over explanation or extra attention, just as he presented the other tiered trays to our table. How lovely to feel as though our allergens were just taken "par for the course" and we weren't made to feel as though are needs were subject to commentary. We did have a frustrating element of our experience. 3/4 of our party had leftovers, which the service team packaged out of sight. Each of us received leftovers and the individual Peninsula cake in a bag. My adult daughter didn't have leftovers, so she didn't receive a bag, so she didn't receive her cake. We noticed after we had retreated beyond the lobby. At that time my daughter didn't want to go back and make a fuss with one of the employees and quite frankly I didn't blame her. It felt like a faux pas to go ask someone for a cake that should have been given to her already. Especially when we spent $700 for the experience. At that price - at any price - we should receive every element included in the tea service. There's no excuse to omit one of the featured elements of the tea. I'm quite frustrated by this Less Than 5-Star Service and there's no recourse for us. It's not like we can just zip on down to collect a cake that should have already been given to us. We live over 2 hours away! This once-in-a-lifetime event, as delightful as it was, has been marred by the lack of service demonstrated by the fact that every member of our party did not receive the cake we paid for, were promised, and were very much looking forward to.

I was recently told that I have had 151 different stays here, and that alone says everything. This is my all-time favorite hotel in the Beverly Hills area, and it continues to impress me every single time I return. From the moment I arrive, the service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They do not just recognize me as a guest; they make me feel like part of the hotel family. The valet team and the doormen are incredible. They know exactly what I like, they remember my preferences, and they often have everything ready before I even get to the hotel. That level of personal attention and consistency is extremely rare, even at luxury hotels. The property itself is elegant, comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. It has the perfect balance of Beverly Hills sophistication and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are always well-prepared, housekeeping is excellent, and the entire hotel feels polished without ever feeling cold or impersonal. The food is another major reason I love this hotel. The menu is absolutely amazing, and you can tell it was created with real care and quality. I understand that the menu was designed by a former chef from a Michelin-level restaurant, and it absolutely shows. The ingredients are top quality, the dishes are thoughtful and delicious, and everything feels elevated. The room service is especially impressive: fast, accurate, beautifully presented, and consistently excellent. It is honestly some of the best hotel room service I have experienced anywhere. What separates this hotel from so many others is consistency. After 151 different stays, I can say with confidence that this team delivers again and again. The service, food, valet, rooms, atmosphere, and overall hospitality are all outstanding. It is very difficult for a hotel to maintain that level of excellence over time, but this property does it. As someone who travels often and has experienced many Marriott properties, this hotel stands out as one of my favorites. It feels like a home away from home, and the team deserves a tremendous amount of credit for making every stay feel personal and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Beverly Hills area. It is truly a special place, and I will continue coming back every chance I get.

For nearly $500 per night, I expected the beautiful boutique hotel that was advertised. Instead, after check-in, we were taken to a completely separate building across the street that looked nothing like the property shown in the photos. It felt more like an old apartment building converted into a motel. The room contained little more than a bed, a nightstand, and a TV. It was completely different from what had been advertised. We immediately returned to the front desk and refused to stay. We left and booked another hotel that same night. When I requested a refund, I was denied. As a result, we lost $500 for a room we never even stayed in. Afterward, I found numerous guest complaints describing experiences similar to ours. What surprised me even more was seeing negative reviews followed by dozens of perfect 10/10 ratings, which raises serious questions. This experience felt misleading from start to finish. Guests should receive the hotel they were shown and paid for, not a completely different building across the street. What is especially disappointing is that these complaints are clearly not new, yet nothing seems to change. The hotel appears fully aware of these recurring issues but makes no meaningful effort to resolve them or accommodate affected guests.

When I was here I didn't hear one peep. Not one- even though I saw a bunch of kids in the lobby. The reason I stayed here is because I wanted to shop on Rodeo and take all the cheesy, cringy tourist photos. But I didn't want to stay at any where where it would be loud. This hotel is only about 15 min walk or so from Rodeo. (I wouldn't recommend you walking at night but during the day time or even early evenings like 6-7pm. I would be fine. Don't be walking around here at 10pm. You do cut through some residental neighborhoods so just be aware. No idea what Beverly Hills curfew is like so just spend the $10 and uber home if you're going to be out after 8pm. Don't forget to call your parents to tell them you're going to be late for dinner.) The staff was very friendly and even though it was busy. These guys know how to move people through. They are chatty enough to be friendly and make you feel comfortable. But not so chatty that the person behind you is sighing loudly and treating you like the 65 years old woman who is still writing checking at the grocery store. The rooms are smaller but unless you're going to be hanging out in your hotel room. It really doesn't matter. Its got great lighting in the bath room for putting on your make-up. Hot showers, great amentities like shampoos and conditioners inside the shower. I brought my own because I'm particular about the kind of stuff I put in my hair but for thos who aren't. It's one less thing you don't have to pack. The room also has a hair dryer and an ironing board, a small fridge and a safe. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again.

Staff were all very nice to my son and I, giving us a heads up they were closing and offered more food to my hungry teenage son who was very grateful. :) Close proximity to uber over to the mall or other areas to hang out and dine. We valet parked and did our thing for the weekend. Valet and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Do be aware that homeless people congregate at the supermarket & spill out onto where the hotel is located. Clean & cozy beds, although the pillows (like most hotel pillows) were worn down thin. Strong shower pressure, & I like that the sink is separate from the actual bathroom. The second floor had a very spacious, comfortable lounge area, as well as what I consider to be this hotel's best feature -- an outdoor fire pit. Friendly & helpful front desk staff. Like many Marriott hotels, this one has a mini convenience store, of sorts, that sells snacks & toiletries in the lobby. If you're calling a rideshare, take note that it's a toss up whether they will be waiting at the front door or in the connecting garage a few steps away. We had a nice stay without incident, however I'd pick a hotel on a street with better scenery & more bustling activity on my next stay in Century City.

Nice room with a King size bed, the air conditioning was super cold, i like it cold, but it was cold for me. I was not happy with the shower as it was leaking and not sealed. Water went out the bathroom across the walkway almost to the closet. We used about 5 towels against the shower to soak up the water. We had unpacked our stuff, so didn't care to move to another room
