These people are Crooks and Liars. They take advantage of you when your vulnerable. I don't know everything about what happens if your in an accident and have your car towed because its no longer driveable. All they wanted to do was take the car and charge us money. My son has AAA towing insurance he called for emergency services after he had a car accident and his car rolled over at 5 am. on Sunday March 20th. Thank God My son didn't get hurt. The 1st towing company came out and could not figure out how to roll the car back over. The Sheriff's called Crescenta Tow. The tow truck driver named Mark came and was able to roll the car back onto its wheels. We told Mark that we had AAA and we wanted the car towed to our home. Mark said that the car is totaled and that he would only take the car to their tow yard and it will cost money to get it out. We had no other choices. Even though we had AAA. Mark said the office will be open at 9 am He said bring in the pink slip and it will cost $133.00 to get the car released or let them scrap it We went to there office at 9 am and were told they don't open until noon. Three hours later the we returned and the guy in the office was rude and very short with us. He said the charges are $180.00 towing and $45.00 storage fee.and would not honor our AAA. I explained the whole story to him and he would only say that I would have to call AAA. They tried everything they could to try to keep the car longer $$$. I called AAA and they said they will refund the costs to us after we submit a claim. So I paid the $225.00. After all this I told AAA I need the car towed to my home, they said they would call it in. There are a whole lot more details about this story that I am leaving out because of the length of it. One minute later Jose with Crescenta tow said he got a call to take the car to my home. Jose is an okay guy. My son rode with him and the car to our home. I knew the car was a total loss, but Pick a Part will pay something for it. These people deal with people when the are vulnerable and try to take advantage of them. It was a bad day and these people made it worse. I read some of the other reviews here on yelp, I believe they have helped a few but believe they rip off many as they can too. read more

They're officially the quickest responders to a call to AAA I've ever worked with.... Less then 5 minutes after I call, and they're already pulling around the corner. My wife had just gotten done telling me I might as well eat some cereal while waiting for the truck, but they came around... Luckily La Crescenta is a small city that's easy to get around... Worked with Noe, who was quick to help get my car door unlocked, and my battery jumped. With the help of some light traffic on the freeway, I ended up only being about 15 minutes late to work! read more

I left my car keys in the car and lock the doors at the OSH parking lot and didn't have any road site services. I was so disappointed and didn't know what to do and then I saw across street was a Cresenta Valey Tow I walk in and asked them for help and the gentleman who I talk to he was a very nice men he came with me to the OSH parking lot and he unlock my car door. WORST SERVICE ive ever had with this towing company through AAA i am a plus member so i'm covered up to 100 miles. AAA sent driver from this towing yard named Ernesto & he was very rude for no good reason. My husband 1 year old & i were stranded with a popped tire at 11pm on the side of the freeway he came to only tell us he was only able to tow us 7 miles from the area we were or simply off the fwy. I asked why if i have up to 100 miles & had requested the call to be towed home 30 miles from where we were. He was in such a bad mood he argued that was his policy and the only other thing he could do was tow my truck back to the yard & for us to deal with it in the morning once it opened. I asked him to wait so i could confirm what was going on with his towing company & as they better explained that he was instructed to only drive us off the fwy to get us safely out of the fwy so another driver could tow us because he was on some type of probation where he could only drive within his area he left & left us on the side of the fwy. This same yard mentioned they had been in contact with AAA and claimed AAA said they had already sent another driver to tow us home and no one ever showed within 40 mins so i called AAA again & they again sent a driver from here but no one ever showed. I called AAA many times between the hours of 11pm-6am and they kept referring me to this towing yard & at the end of the day my services were being ignored i ended up getting home through my insurance policy towing who was there in 20 mins i ended getting home at 7am. Screw this horrible company ! what a nightmare i hope AAA ends working with them. read more

These guys saved my a**. If I'm ever in need again they are my first call, period. I crashed my bike on highway 2, and these guys are only one of two companies willing to come up there. Rene came up and retrieved my fallen steed, and on the way down I feel like I made a friend. Super cool guy; very friendly, very open, very compassionate. By the time I got to the office my "tweaked" ankle from the crash had become much worse--to the point where I couldn't walk on it. The gentleman at the counter, Chris, not only found me a random walker to help me get into the office but laughed with me about looking for the buffet line. He helped me charge my phone, let me sit behind the counter where I could raise my injured ankle, even got me a cold wet cloth for my face when I started having hot flashes. How's that for customer service at a tow yard? When it later came time to get my bike home, Rene not only towed it but single-handedly pushed her up my driveway's incline and maneuvered it to my parking spot behind the apartment. Mind you, it's was a 400lb bike with a bent fork that didn't like turning. And he did it without a complaint. To be treated that well when I was in a bad way meant a lot to me. I highly recommend both of them and the company that has the good sense to employ such quality people. read more

AAA sent Crescenta Valley Tow after I called. My car wouldn't start in my garage, which was at the end of a very steep driveway on a rainy day, no less! Fortunately, the tow truck driver was Vasken - he was amazing! Because the driveway was too narrow for his truck, he used the winch to literally pull my compact SUV up the steep incline and out of the garage. He was focused and very careful with my car. I survived a near-death car wreck this past Sunday on Angeles Crest Highway and it was Crescenta Valley Tow to the rescue. While I was airlifted to the Huntington Memorial Hospital, CVT helped my boyfriend (passenger) and his dog off the mountain with my inoperable car in tow. While AAA didn't cover the tow, they assured me my insurance would cover it (which my insurance confirmed is covered) and helped everyone stay calm. CVT was also helpful in helping my boyfriend and I get back in touch with each other after being separated for nearly the whole day (me in the hospital and my bf stuck on the mountain without reception) when both our cell phone batteries were pretty much dead. Needed a very far flat bed tow at a rush hour period and the driver, Angel, was so courteous and professional. Checked in on us several times, asked if we needed anything out of the car verified the tow address. It was uncomfortably hot and he never was less than smiling and happy to help us. We got stuck on our way to Angeles Crest. Cresecenta Valley tow for the save! We had no reception at all, so california highway patrol contacted them. We had AAA and the manager, Andy, came to the rescue. He was a very nice person, contrary to what the others said. He asked us if we had AAA, and we did, so we didn't have to pay anything. Our vehicle got stuck off road and they winched our car out carefully. No charge for the great services provided. I don't understand how everybody is calling this place full of thief's. If you get your car impounded from your own dumb mistake, don't hate on the towing company. They just do what they are told to do. my motorcycle needed to be towed as i had no headlight and it was dark. the tow truck driver tried to ride my bike onto the flatbed and crashed it over the side of truck . he did not know how to ride a motorcycle he should have never tried to ride because he did not know how to . so much damage to my bike cant even start to write it would not have enough room. they are saying it is not there fault but it is . now i have no bike and going to have to go to court to settle this what a nightmare. do not trust this company the worst tow yard ever . About four weeks ago, I decided to go on a long drive, being weary from the lockdown. But my car had been sitting for two months and the tires looked quite low. So I stopped at here, and Andy very kindly checked all of my tires, adding air where necessary, and confirming the proper pressure. These douchebags are money hungry pricks. Don't even think about using their services. Charged an arm and a leg for removing my vehicles after a local fire damaged my cars. The manager tells me that they are contracted by the city, and in their supposed "Contract" could charge up to $150 per hour. If I don't pick up my vehicles in 3 days, then a lien will be placed on them, where they could have the write to potentially own the vehicles. I hope someone shuts these crooks down. read more

My teenage son was in a wreck on the freeway 4 hours from home. CHP called this tow company. They charged 200, plus 32 bucks an hour. Next came the 55 a day to store it. This seems high, but that was not the problem. Andy refused to take payment over the phone. He demanded that I drive over 8 hours round trip to pay my bill. I found a company that would pay 250 for the carcass of my Honda, yet Andy refused to allow them to pick it up without me being present. I was unable to drive the 8 hours, so my husband took my signed pink-slip to Crescenta to pay the bill. Andy refused to take the slip from my husband, despite the same last name on the title. He made us jump through many hoops and even told me he could take me to collections if I did not come to the shop to pay. In the end he also charged me 250 to "JUNK" my car which had a lot of life in it. The total...652.00 for a tow and 3 days. Worse than that was the way he treated me on the phone and the way he treated my husband in his shop. Andy is a hateful thief, taking advantage of people. This could have been settled on the phone with a fax and email. Welcome to America where we can screw you when you are at a disadvantage. read more
