Despicable human beings! The driver assaulted my wife! Crescenta Valley Tow was called by AAA to tow a classic car that was being restored. First, a hot-headed, lazy driver shows up with a flatbed truck to tow the car. Claims that he can't hook up the car, which was down a long driveway. Refuses to do his job. We called AAA a second time and asked for a different type of tow truck. CV Tow sends the same driver with the same flat bed truck. When the driver arrives for the second time, he again refuses to even look at the position of the car. Refuses to do anything. He hands his cell phone to my wife's sister to talk to his dispatcher. When she was done with the call, she handed the phone to my wife to hang up the call. Without asking for the phone first, the driver took both his hands, forcefully grabbed my wife's right hand, wrist, and arm and twisted it; spraining it and causing an enormous amount of pain. This sicko assaulted a 50 year old woman because he could not control his temper. My sister-in-law called AAA again to get another tow company to move the car, and file a complaint about the assault. After waiting another hour, AAA insisted there was no other tow company to help us. So CV Tow comes out a third time. This time, they brought the right kind of tow truck, and a different driver. This new driver claims he wants to help, but says he needs to go back to the business and get a tool. He said he would be back in 5 minutes. After an HOUR, we called CV Tow to see what happened to the driver. We were told that CV Tow called AAA, cancelled our request and LIED to AAA about the condition of the car. CV Tow told AAA that the car did not have a back seat and no engine, so they refused to tow it. The car has all its parts. And AAA said that a missing back seat would NEVER stop them from towing a car. This episode with CV Tow lasted over 5 hours. They are the absolute most disgusting business we have ever encountered. where can i begin with this horrible experience dealing with this company, i had to call aaa as i was having car problems and needed a tow, they called this horrible company to come get me, at first driver seem friendly over the phone as i was talking to him while he was on his way to me, after showing up he suggested that he can meet me at the mechanic shop it was being towed to so that i didtn have to wait for him to load it on to his truck, (by now i had a friend pull up who offered to give me a ride) i agree and handed the keys to the driver and agreed to meet him at the drop off location, and hour went by then another hour and driver never showed up, i called him back to same number ive talking to him on earlier, but he stop picking up, i then called the companies number only to be told they didnt know anything, i then reached AAA who reached out to them and finally got an answer, driver first claimed he never showed up, then after i said i have him on video next to his to tow truck next to my car he changes his story now says he was there, but didnt end up picking up the car..???? the guy took my keys did god knows what with them then, either took or abandon my car, as im writing this no one knows where my car is, what happend to it, im filing a police report againts this company as well as speaking to an attorney about the matter, this guys basically stole my car, and act like they dont know anything when confronted, aaa is also looking into the matter, this is a horrible company i will do evertyhing in my power to make sure the driver and this company are held responsible, they are a bunch of thieves!!! read more

I was in a car accident from which my 11 year old son has a permanent back injury, and I was taken from the scene in an ambulance for minor injuries. Before getting into the ambulance I handed the police officer my AAA card and told my husband to have the car parked in my driveway which was HALF A BLOCK away. When I returned home my car was not there, Crescenta Valley Tow had decided to impound the car stating they could not maneuver it into my driveway, but it was no problem to get it into a tiny space in their impound lot. When I called they quoted me almost $400 including $140 for the 3 mile tow, even though I have AAA, which they eventually credited. I offered to give my credit card and have them tow it back to my house, but they don't take credit cards over the phone... REALLY??? I was so discouraged (and dealing with injuries and stress) I waited a day or 2 then spoke to a very unpleasant lady who told me they could take the credit card by fax... by now the bill was over $1000 and I ended up giving up and letting them take possession of my car. I reported this to AAA but nothing has been done yet, but I will keep trying to protect others from these criminals and their predatory practices. I have no idea how they are still in business. BEWARE. This business is a sham and owned an operated by crooked greedy unethical people. I won't mention there ethnicity but now I understand why there is so much hatred against this group of people and why so many people don't want some people to operate businesses in this county. They have my motorcycle because it was towed there after was taken to the hospital by ambulance in an accident caused by the other driver. Cop gave me a piece of paper with the name of CV Towing on it. Was in the neighborhood this afternoon after regular business hours but I thought I could peek at my bike through the gate. Gate was wide open, lot was lit and a woman was working the office and register. My bike was literally 15 feet away and I requested access to a pouch on my bike to retrieve my insurance card and eyeglasses the woman tried to charge me a $95 after hour access fee. She called her boss when I requested to speak to him. Spoke to her boss in a foreign language so I could not understand what she was saying. Boss showed up. He supported her decision and refused to give me his last name when I requested the information. This place is absolutely horrible and owned by the worst kind of people who are giving a bad name to a group of people who otherwise are good citizens and business owners. read more

I have been a member for over 27 years and broke down yesterday. I called AAA requesting to have my van towed. Unfortunately, this is not the first time, and was told by Crescenta Valley Tow they did not have a long bed to facilitate my van. After repeated attempts to explain my van was not too heavy or too big and that AAA has towed the same vehicle a couple of times previously. I was told to send pictures of the inside of my van to see if it was overloaded with tools, equipment, and the like. I was given the runaround and finally, after speaking with a supervisor I was re-directed to a different towing company. Without any delay, I was picked up and my van was placed on their long bed tow truck and driven to Palmdale. I was informed that Crescenta Valley Tow just did not want to drive to Palmdale so they gave excuses why they could not accommodate me. Additionally, was also informed that they all have the same long bed tow trucks. I find this to be unconscionable, a deliberate lack of customer service, and concern for someone being stranded. This is very disturbing and I would not ever recommend this company to anyone. The CEO and CFO of AAA will also get this review. read more

So I finally was able to reach the owner of this company abdcthis is what we spoke of after I told him again what issue I am having with my cars transmission. Before I ever said anything of this sort the owner of the company immediately said yes were an Armenian owned company but we don't do shady thibgs. I was like I didn't even imply that so why would he say that right off the bat? I was saying could it have been operator error but the first thing he said was were not shady! If you have to justify that before anything then chances are you are! I asked him to show me the video footage of my car being parked there the whole month and not being moved at all and he said that in would have to pay him the hourly rate that he charges the city of Glendale to get the footage. He said this thinking that I'm gonna say no well I'm not I'm going to court as we speak to file a lawsuit a d get a court order to see the video. If you are so sure of your company and had someone making accusations I would say watch the video for free to clear my name. I guess court order it is!! read more

I was stranded for over 10 hours on Angeles crest highway with a broken down motorcycle. These guys could not get it right after many attempts between AAA , dispatch and tow drivers messing up location, conflicting information, and several no shows. I had to hitch hike down 11 miles to get cell service. The nightmare was just beginning. The last of 3 dispatched drivers alas, midnight, finally showed up. When I simply ask if he could safely handle both my stranded motorcycle with 2 dudes behind me who were stranded as well, the driver threw my ID at me, rolled up the window and helped the dudes leaving me stranded yet again. He then told AAA that I was rude and argumentative. Wow. When was asking questions about safety rude? Then this same towing company thought it was a cute prank to call me at 1 am stating they saw my motorcycle being towed by highway patrol. Nope! Not true. What kind of humans and business does this? The officers will soon be investigating their illegal activities. Stay far away from this business! read more

I would like to thank CV tow very much! Yesterday in the horrendous rain my vehicle got stuck and they came to the rescue. I'm so glad that chp called them for my tow and nobody else. I believe in these guys very much! I will make sure to stay in contact with them. I don't understand why everybody leaves such bad reviews, this place is amazing. Their rates are perfect and the prices fit in with everybody else's, but with more service. For some reason, somebody or somehow yelp removed my review. This is not acceptable! I left an honest review rating their service when I got stuck on the 5 freeway during the crazy rain storm. I created my account so I can let others now how well their service is. I don't understand the bad reviews left by other people. Maybe they didn't get along well with the employees and thus angered them leading to a bad review. The owner was a very nice guy. I wish I could leave half a star for this shoddy company. Less thank 10 minutes ago their driver told my wife he could not tow her stalled truck from the park because her mom and our dogs were present. My wife called me to come get them and here I am listening to dispatch tell my wife he still can not take the truck or accommodate her even though she is telling him I am here. I was able to jump start the battery but we pay for convenience and a reliable partner to tow if needed. This company missed out on a battery sale because their driver is not willing to 'accommodate' my wife... how about do your job?! Stay away from using this company. Only reason I used this company is because AAA dispatched them to my vehicle, but never again can I just let AAA assign a third-party dispatch without doing my research, these people that work there are disgusting human beings, don't know how they have any clients..... DO NOT USE They damaged my vehicle, and now I have to sue them, which is the last thing I want to do, I called to get information and told them that the dispatcher damaged my vehicle due to the way it was strapped down on the flatbed and ARMEN answering the phone insulted me and wouldn't give me any information at all that I need, so currently now they have another lawsuit to deal with. read more

The driver Mark was very pleasant and courteous and quick to load my car onto the flatbed and drive the 62 miles to it's destination. We shredded a tire and then a spare on the Mountain Route 2 and had to hitch hike down the mountain for cell service to call a tow. Not only did Anthony come to get the car, but he also picked us up on the way and recommended a close great tire shop. We definitely didn't want to need them, but riding with Anthony was a real treat and I'm so happy we were able to have Crescenta Valley Tow help us today! I had to get an emergency tow in the San Gabriel mountains. Not only were they quick to get there but the driver, Anthony, was extremely helpful and friendly the entire ride.
