Today while I was driving home I went over a thick jagged piece of metal and got a flat tire. I called AAA and they called Crescenta Valley Tow. I feel so lucky to have gotten the service from this business. The dispatcher from Crescenta Valley Tow called me to let me know someone was on their way and they arrived promptly. When Andy (who made sure he was wearing his mask when we met)showed up to asses my tire situation he was very kind. He changed the tire, after putting some air in it, of course, and since my spare tire is a very small one, he recommended I don't drive anywhere but to the repair shop to fix my regular tire. He also checked the other three tires and checked the tire pressure to make sure I will make it safely to the tire repair shop. Car problems are never fun so having someone like Andy was very reassuring to me. read more

I wish I could leave half a star. Less thank 10 minutes ago their driver told my wife he could not tow her stalled truck from the park because her mom and our dogs were present. My wife called me to come get them and here I am listening to dispatch tell my wife he still can not take the truck or accommodate her even though she is telling him I am here. I was able to jump start the battery but we pay for convenience and a reliable partner to tow if needed. This company missed out on a battery sale because their driver is not willing to 'accommodate' my wife... how about do your job?! Stay away from using this company. Needed my car towed, they came out for roadside assistance with AAA. Mike brought my car to the shop. He's an expert and professional. Backed the truck up thorough a maze without any help. The guys at the shop were supposed to guide him but got distracted, and were amazed he was able to do it by himself. They came quick and did good work! read more

These guys are great! Used them through AAA. I didn't catch the first guy's name who originally came out on a service call. Once we realized I needed a tow, he honored my request for a flatbed. The flatbed wouldn't fit in the parking structure so he helped push & cruise it out on the street. Then Mark put it on the flatbed and took my car home. Mark was really cool to talk to on the way home, and he took extra good care of my BMW 530i with just 49,000 miles, knowing it's a special car to me. read more

I was charged $215 for LESS than an hour of service today, when all the driver did was tow my car off the freeway to a nearby Ralphs' parking lot off the freeway exit. He was trying to push for more money by insisting on taking me all the way home, which would have cost nearly $500. You people have no shame in turning someone's misery into profit. My car was chained and locked by the time he began throwing prices at me, so I had no choice but to pay. I was told it was $215 hourly rate since it was a CHP call. I will investigate and find out how true this is. Do NOT use this towing company, ever. read more

Our HOA has a contract with them to tow cars from our private lot. We have called many times for them to come and tow cars and either no one picks up or they tell us they don't have anyone available to come. They may be fine for towing your car if you are stranded on the side of the road but if you are looking to use them to tow from your home or business best to look elsewhere. read more

My car is damaged!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are crooks and liars! I made 2 appointments regarding the damage to my car. Both times the manager ditched me after I told him I was on my way. I sat in traffic for an hour and a half after a full work day. I asked the clerk why they didn't not at least call me. He claimed to not have my number. That is a lie. I gave my number several times, and even saw the SAME clerk input my number into his computer. The lack of integrity of the people who work here is astonishing. I know the damage was caused by Crescenta Valley Tow. My car is only a few years old, it has never been in an accident, and it's still under warranty. I bought it April of this year. I check my car regularly for abnormalities and I know what the condition of my car was before Crecenta Valley Tow had it in its possession and the condition of my car after it was released to me. My friends and family also know how much I value my car and how hard I have worked to get it. I am very good to my car and I am well aware of what the condition of my car was before, and after the fact. I provided pictures, evidence, and an estimate-yet that is still not evidence enough. When I warned him of a potential lawsuit, the manager threatened to counter sue me. He instantly knew this would cause issues for me alone. The manager thought this would be enough to break me because that alone can get very expensive. I promise you, I am much tougher than I look. He picked up on the fact that I am an independent, single, female and used that to take advantage of my good nature. I tried to be reasonable and give Crecenta Valley Tow the benefit of a doubt. He asked for evidence, and I provided it. He ignored everything I said and yelled over me as if I were an ant and he was a towing tyrant, belittling me and talking down to me. He claimed not to be able to see any damage, from his cameras (because he was too much of a coward to face me). He claimed to have proof, yet provided none. And when I asked for this "proof" he said that I could, "come down and get it anytime." Making it a wonderful opportunity for him to attempt to waste my time by ditching me, after knowing full well that he could be long gone by the time I was there. And he knew after this point, I would not feel safe coming there. He used this to his advantage to make it seem as if me going in person was the only way to be given his alleged "proof" in the 21st century. Every time I asked for proof he only said I needed to, "educate myself" and "come over and pick up the proof." Any time I provided facts or evidence, I was in return given denial, lies, and disrespect. If anyone here has had a negative experience with these people, I want to know. Horrible drivers always blowing through stop signs and absolutely horrid customer service

I CAN NOT BELIEVE AAA WORKS WITH THIS COMPANY. My vehicle broke down in Montrose, I needed it towed to my home in Corona. It was a Sunday, and the owner told me they were short of drivers, and asked if I'd be ok with them picking the vehicle up and taking it to their yard, and delivering it first thing in the morning . Trying to be a nice person, I said yes...BIG MISTAKE. Waited for the vehicle until 11am, I called them since I hadn't heard from them and they stated that the vehicle left their yard that particular moment. 1pm, nothing, 2pm nothing 3pm, I call AAA who then calls them and transfer me to them, and the owner says the vehicle is on the way, and that there is traffic and that if I knew how far Montrose to Corona is??...ummmm yes, I was the person who drove out there and called them. 4pm, the driver calls me and says ETA is 30 mins, I asked if he was sure because they've told me nothing but lies from this morning, and so he says, he's gonna get there, when he gets there because his shift started at 1pm, (which means, THEY LIED)..... to which I let him know i'd be calling the police if he didnt turn up. DONT BOTHER WITH THESE PEOPLE...they behave like degenerates. Very rude and condescending and above all THE LIES. read more

Yesterday my car was towed by them. And then I went to pick up my car. I came to find out that the guy that towed my car went through my vehicle and he sadly found one of the expensive cologne. I'm not mad that the cologne was taken but I trusted this guy with my car and he went and looked for something to steal. read more

I called Crescenta Valley Tow for towing an RV. Arman was professional and helpful during my initial call. He said he would call me back with a quote and he returned my call quickly! The quote was reasonable. I had some logistical issues on my end and both Arman and Andy worked with me to get them figured out. There are not enough stars to show my appreciation for how helpful, kind and highly professional this company was. My girlfriend and I took a drive up Angeles Crest Drive to get away from the insanity after being locked up for the last two weeks. At 7,500', we got out of the car to take 10 minutes to introduce my pup to snow and breath in the fresh air. When I got back in the car, I turned around to start heading back to LA and immediately hit a rock (must have been fairly large) which blew out my front tire. Jaguar called these fine folks. Although I gave them the wrong information as to where we were located, William, the driver, went out of his way to keep looking until he found us. Unfortunately, he could not put on the spare tire as there were tire locks, and I was never given the tire key when I purchased the car. William already had another car on his flatbed so he had to tow my car the "old fashion" way. It was extremely difficult to get the car on the truck because the blowout was totally flat (right front tire). William worked for almost an hour, never gave up an managed to get my car towed 1 1/2 hours down the hill to La Crescenta. He had to leave me at the bottom of the hill because he had to take the other call in the opposite direction. Once we got there, we noticed that I had locked my keys in the car. That's when William called his boss Andy to come over. Andy was there in 5 minutes and brought tools with him to open the door. Amazingly, he was able to open my car and retrieve the keys. He then went out of his way to get another truck over to us immediately (took less than 5 minutes) which took my car and dropped it off at the dealer. Andy really knew his business and was so incredibly kind and thoughtful. He made it undeniably clear that his ONLY concern was making sure to leave behind a happy customer. These guys are awesome, really know their stuff and are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I really don't have enough nice things I can say about these folks. They took a nightmare experience and gave me hope that there is still quality, professional service out there in the world. Thank you Andy and William for literally saving our butts. I had a blowout on Angeles Crest Hwy in a borrowed car. AAA said it would take over an hour to come out and these guys made it out in about 20 minutes when they found out my kids and wife were with me. Come to find out the tire in the car was the wrong spare and there couldn't be a a quick change. These gentlemen went above and beyond getting my family taken care of and back on the road again. I got a flat tire this morning on a busy freeway in Los Angeles. I called AAA and they dispatched CRESCENTA VALLEY TOW to assist. I waited an hour to find out they couldn't help me! I'm sitting in a small Mazda Miata on a narrow shoulder of a busy freeway in rush-hour traffic and apparently my call was not a priority to them! And it wasn't important enough to at least alert AAA to find another tow company! Fortunately the back-up tow company - WiseGuys - got there in less than 15 mins. Crescenta Valley Tow has been good in the past - but they really missed the mark big-time today.... read more

This "business" was assigned to me by AAA. I received a call from them quickly after contacting AAA. The person who called though, didn't know how to read an address and thought I was seeking a tow somewhere I wasn't. That should have been a bad sign. I was then told it would be an hour wait. Disappointing, but oh well. After blowing past the hour, they did not answer my calls. Finally after 90 minutes, AAA reassigned the work to a real business. I do not recommend. Absolute the worst towing company in this area. I deal with towing companies pretty often because I own a fleet of trucks. I've dealt with these guys at least five times and every time it was like $1500 just to tow it like 10 miles. On several occasions I've gotten that same price plus or minus a few hundred. On top of that I was told that they start their clock the moment they get off the phone with you not when the drivers dispatched. One time another I called AAA to have my flat tire changed and they were busy so they called this tow company and they came over to my house. All I heard was the driver complaining as he's changing my tire and I did notice that he damaged my bumper with his jack. I certainly wouldn't do with these guys ever again they are total rip offs. I'm currently using several other towing companies and they are far less expensive. read more

Crescenta Valley Tow is disrespectful of other people's property. My neighbors had a car towed from their driveway today, Crescenta Valley Tow was here to remove the car. We live on a narrow street, it can be difficult to maneuver , but the trash trucks do it every week. Crescenta Vallay Tow drove over some plantings in my front yard had one tire on the mulch and the other on my driveway , the truck was running as they loaded the neighbors car onto the flat bed of their truck, it could have leaked engine oil onto my pavers, thankfully it did not. I am very disappointed that the driver took it upon himself to use my plants, mulch and driveway for his convenience. No knock on my door asking for permission, the driver just did what was easiest for him. I called the Crescenta Valley Tow office, spoke with Andy, the manager, and I told him how angry I was, yes, I was yelling. He said he was sorry, i asked him why his drivers were not trained to be courteous and respectful of other people's property when they were on the job, I told Andy that the truck had driven over plants, a sprinkler head, mulch and my driveway. Andy said he would pay for any damage his drivers caused, I assured him I would take him up on that if there was damage. I was trying to tell Andy that his drivers were disrespectful. Andy said what do you want me to do, come over and water your grass, did that get me madder, oh yes it did. I told him it was his responsibility to make sure his employees were aware that they needed to contact people to ask permission to use their property. I was yelling, Andy hung up on me. The worst! 1st car they towed into thirty lot of mine they mistakenly must have locked the keys inside because when I got it back I could see many scratch marks between the door and roof where they jammed thier rods up and down to unlock my freshly painted Impala SS. 2nd time they towed in a car of mine off the street for expired reg. I had just bought it and while towing it home I got a flat. So I decided to let them keep it. Went to pick up my personal property but the trunk would not open. I realized they had tried to force open the trunk and damaged it. Now it was not ever going to open. They sold it at auction but weeks later I get collection letters for storage fees. I spoke to a friend about this and he says they also damaged his dads vehicle by also tryin to get into his trunk Crooks! Thieves! Working there! read more

This is tow company has the worst customer service and will try to take advantage of you. My husband had a motorcycle accident that landed him in the hospital on Saturday, so his motorcycle was towed here to be stored. I had called on Sunday morning to ask about picking it up and the first thing the lady said to me in a rude manner was along the lines of that phone line being specifically for emergencies. The number was the only one listed by California Highway Patrol. On Monday morning my husband and I went to pick up the motorcycle and have it towed to my parents' house and we planned on using AAA. When I informed one of the tow truck drivers of our plan he told me that AAA wouldn't cover the tow because it wasn't going to a mechanic. He said they could tow it for an outrageous price. I immediately got worried and called AAA, they informed me that they could tow it to a residence if it was being repaired there. Next, we gave the man at the desk out paperwork and he told me I had to get a release form from the sheriff before they could let us sign and pay for the storage fee. I left the office and called the CHP and they informed me that no release form was needed because the bike was only being stored. We went back into the office and the same guy that said we needed a release form didn't even ask for one and let us take care of our business. Now, here I am 4 hours after I called for the tow and the motorcycle still hasn't been delivered and they refused to give AAA an estimated arrival time. Well it took 5 hours before the bike was dropped off. Worst service ever. read more
