Pringle's on the diaper, baby formula and beef jerky isle.
C J.

Okay. Been going here since before it was crest. But I have to give this place a below average rating as of late. Many reasons but the largest is the rearrangement of the isles. Can anyone explain why the Pringles CHIPS are not on the chip isle but on a different isle between beef jerky's and baby lotion and pedialyte? Who ever did this needs more training.

I shop here quite often. The staff is nice and helpful. This is a smaller location compared to the newer ones. They usually have what I need. They have a decent production section with a small organic veggie area. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the meat market is small and they do not have a seafood market. I'd also like it if the deli expanded into making better fresh to-go items outside of the hot case. Things like wraps, sandwiches, and salads.

a packaged package of meat

DON'T buy meat at Crest. Normally, I purchase my meat at Walmart. I was stupid enough to stop at the Crest on NW 23rd. The ground beef I purchased was 93/7, once I placed it in the pan I noticed (as you can see in the attached pictures) was brown in the middle. The outside was fresh and bright red, while the middle was stuffed with old meat. This is poor service and extremely disrespectful to thier customers. The funny thing is they're having an Anniversary sale...

Big Naked juices!!

While Yelping locations and reviews of grocery stores/Walmarts in the area, I came across this particular Crest Foods because it was closest to the way I was headed while leaving the city. Was a little apprehensive given the three star rating, but noticing this was the only grocery store chain in the area, I gave it a go. First impressions mean a lot and the building left a bit to be desired. However, you can never judge a book by its cover. Walking inside, I was greeted by the lovely southern-ish belle working at the grain and nut bar. What a doll. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection in this area and the prices were decent. The next section, produce, was massive. At least 15 varieties of apples and everything was fully stocked and fresh. They also had a nice selection of half gallon sized Naked juice drinks! So far, so good. The random carts with random sales were weird at first, but I actually found some things I was looking for, so that's another plus. All good things must come to an end, and for my Crest Food experience it was within the first 10 minutes. The aisle layout was a huge fail. I felt like I was getting Punk'd. It really just didn't make any sense--deli meat and family planning don't belong in the same aisle. Finally, I was able to stumble my way through and get what I needed before heading for the checkout. Decided to use a real person instead of self checkout to see if the customer service success was a fluke or not. The cashier didn't say a single word to me and when she couldn't read the sticker on one of my apples, she just reached in the bag to grab it out. Now, maybe I'm overreacting, but I was absolutely disgusted. She touches money and who knows what else all day and now she is man-handling my produce? Not cool. Also, only paper bags?? Maybe they are "green" but how do you even carry paper bags full of food, how do I use them to pick up my dog's poop from your front yard, etc etc ?? Anyway, this particular store would've been a solid 3 or 4 stars but the cashier's charade ruined it for me... SELF CHECKOUT FOR LIFE.

Nice store, great prices, not as clean or modern as the Edmond or Norman store, this one deserves a face lift. Overall still the best chain of supermarkets in the OKC metro.

Shitty place to shop

Pruett's Food May 22, 2026…read more (2/5) I want to start by being completely fair to this store, because it absolutely earned it on first impression: Pruett's Food has one of the most striking and genuinely unique interiors I have ever seen in a grocery store. Walking in, you're greeted by a dramatic cluster of glowing red orb lights suspended over the snack aisle, a massive artificial ivy tree built right into the center of the floor as a centerpiece, the word "HEARTY" spelled out in hedge-style topiary lettering, glowing neon department signs over sections like the juice area, and lush greenery, ferns, and floral displays scattered throughout. There were even framed western-style portraits lining one of the walls, giving the place a real sense of character and identity. The seafood case was beautifully arranged and generously stocked with crab, salmon, shrimp, and more, all garnished with greenery and presented like something out of a high-end specialty market. The fresh marinated meat case was just as impressive, with variety marinade chicken drumsticks at $1.59 a pound and a whole spread of seasoned wings, kabobs, and skewers that genuinely looked fantastic. The produce section was bright and full, with watermelon slices, blueberries, and seasonal fruit on attractive curved wooden display racks, and sale prices throughout the store were strong. On atmosphere, merchandising, and presentation alone, this place is a 5-star experience, and you can tell real money and real thought went into the design. That is exactly why what happened next was so disappointing. I picked up a jar of Miracle Whip during my visit, and when I got home and looked at the packaging, it was stamped "Best When Used By 14MAY2026." My visit was on May 22, which means the product I was sold was a full eight days past the date printed right on it. Selling something already past its labeled freshness date isn't a tiny oversight to me, and it stings even more in a store that has so clearly invested in looking fresh, abundant, and premium at every turn. What really drives it home is the company's own slogan, printed right on their shopping bag: "Home of the ProFRESHionals." When a grocery store builds its entire brand and its gorgeous interior around the idea of freshness, and then sends a first-time customer home with an out-of-date product, the polish starts to feel like a façade. All the orb lights, topiary lettering, neon signs, and beautiful display cases in the world don't matter if the basics of stock rotation and date-checking aren't being handled on the shelf where it actually counts. A single jar slipping through wouldn't end the world on its own, but as a first impression it immediately made me wonder what else on those shelves isn't being checked, and that doubt quietly followed me through everything else I'd already put in my cart. It's a genuine shame, because the bones of this place are excellent. The atmosphere is fun and distinctive, the meat and seafood departments looked top-tier, the produce was inviting, and the pricing was competitive. If the freshness and stock practices matched the presentation, this would easily be one of my favorite stores in the area, and I'd happily make it a regular stop. As it stands, the gap between how good it looks and the expired product I actually carried out the door is just too wide to ignore. My honest advice to anyone shopping here is to enjoy the atmosphere, but check the date on every single item before it goes in your cart and again at checkout. Freshness should be the store's responsibility, especially for a place that puts the word right in its own name. I walked in genuinely impressed and hoping I'd stumbled onto a new favorite, and I walked out, unfortunately, with no plans to return.

I've visited twice now, and both times it was difficult to find items. When I asked an employee where the protein bars were, I was directed to the cleaning products aisle. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be many employees available on the floor to help customers, so you often have to walk all the way to the front just to ask a question. I understand employees can't know everything, but basic knowledge of the store layout should be part of customer service. This feels more like a management issue than an employee issue, because proper training starts at the top. Also, I was very surprised to learn they do not accept credit cards. In today's world, that's extremely inconvenient and something customers should be clearly aware of before shopping. Overall, if you're a new customer, be prepared to spend extra time finding what you need.

I wish the store was closer to me. They really need to build one in or near Midwest city. Some of the items you can find for cheaper in other stores. But I guess you pay for the variety of items they have at a higher price. I feel like when they have stuff on sale that's the best time to buy. The employees are always really nice and helpful. I like that they have self checkouts here, so I can do it myself and get out quicker. When you're on reusable shopping bags, because they have bags, you can buy there and no other options.
