Every time I call for service... every single time... they tell me it's a 2 week out reservation for a loaner car. However, when I was sold the car originally they don't explain that to you. They make sure to say it's part of their Lincoln promise to have a loaner car - so they use it as a selling point but in reality it's bull. I've had my steering wheel completely lock up, and 3 different lights turn on in the dashboard and they said it's either 2 weeks out, or you drop it off and don't get a loaner. How about when I had only had the car for a few months and my entire electrical system went down. Yep, you guessed it... 2 weeks out. Meantime, I can't turn on the radio, see the clock, the navigation or anything else I pay to have in a Lincoln. They told me that theybhave no loaners available, on and on. Until I finally got to the general manager, who is just as bad as her employees. Tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong for expecting a loaner, however, her salespeople use it as their pitch!! The service is AWFUL. I pay for a "luxury" vehicle and expect luxury service. I will never ever buy from Crest again. The auto industry is far too competitive to settle for crappy service. read more

DO NOT take your vehicle in to be serviced here. They will fix one thing and break another and then try and make you pay for it. They fixed my ac compressor clutch and then cut the transmission cooler lines in the process and won't own up to. It wasn't leaking all over your floor when I brought it in and you guys had it running but no puddles. There was no mention of a leak when you guys texted me telling me when you had an estimate of what the problem was and cost. Then over 4 hours later the service advisor texted us to call them ASAP and that's when they mentioned about a leak that was pooling up into a puddle. read more

I have had my 2016 MKC lease for almost 2 years. I have one more year left. As part of our agreement (sales guy is Andy), this lease package included free oil changes and tire rotations. I had this offer at Suburban Ford, so this was why this was part of the negotiation. Today I went in for my 2nd oil change and first tire rotation, as I don't live close to the dealership now, and was informed, in a very rude way, that I am no longer under warranty since I'm over 25,000 miles. I went to my vehicle to check my paperwork, and after spending 5-10 minutes trying to go through the many pages, I couldn't find the agreement. I felt I was being taken advantage of because I am a younger woman, as this is not the first occurrence at a male-dominated situation where this has happened to me. I went back up to Jeff B, the man who was a little off putting, to see if my sales guy, Andy was in. He was not, so I asked Jeff point blank if I was being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. This man then became irate and starting yelling at me in the garage. He was also trying to show his innocence by yelling at me to tell him what exactly I said when I walked up to him... and I said I asked if Andy was in and when he wasn't I asked if I was being taken advantage of, because my husband would never be treated this way. Mind you I am pregnant. He continued to yell at me and said he would not serve me. As I was leaving he proceeded to follow me to my car and snatch the service tag from my rear view window and tried grabbing my keys to take the service tag off and even the floor mat from under my feet that they put in, but insisted I could do it myself. My husband was on the way to meet me there to take me to lunch (again, we don't live close by) but I called him and informed him about what happened. He went to talk to Jeff, and Jeff started yelling at him and kept asking if he was trying to get physical. The only person yelling was Jeff throughout this whole encounter and both my husband and I told him to stop yelling. I truly believe this man has treated women poorly in the past and that is why his tempered got the best of him. I am waiting on Andy to call back to see if he can make things right, because I have plenty of Ford/Lincoln friends that can refer me elsewhere. read more

Do not expect a call from the salesman if the car is sold to another person. It happened to me twice. I had to find out ONLINE that the car that I wanted is no longer available as I was getting my paperwork together to close the deal. Nothing wrong with the salesman making his sale, but at least let me know that the car is no longer available. Not even a call or email. And when I tried to call, they do not pick up nor reply to my voicemail. This dealership has decent prices, but their salesmen suck. They are cold and disrespectful. I own a 2011 Lincoln MKX. My experience with Crest Lincoln has been phenomenal. Each and every visit has been a pleasure. From the time I pull into the service garage until I leave, service staff have always been very friendly. I always stop in to chat with Lucy, my saleswoman. She always inquires about the family and how satisfied I am with my vehicle. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from her and Crest. As a customer, I appreciate the cleanliness of the dealership. The waiting room is spotless and comfy. STAY AWAY! My wife dropped off the car. They wrote up a quote after 2 days of having the car. Said it would cost $4,000 to fix. He then whispered into the phone that he could get me a better deal and came down to $3600. So shady! I showed up to pick up the car without getting repairs done and they were not happy. They initially would not give me the quote for repairs that I paid $102 for. He then wrote it on the back of my receipt. The manager got involved and was very defensive accusing me of lying. I thought he was going to fight me. I took my car to another shop and they said Crest was way off the mark. Looks like another case where they thought they could take advantage of a woman and upscale a bunch of unneeded repairs. This is my first Lincoln I have had. I bought it at Varsity (great dealer) but live in Sterling Heights so I took it to Crest for a problem. The service there is terrible. The service manager is rude and my car was returned with a transmission cover hanging unbolted under the vehicle dragging on the ground. They then tried to blame that and spilled coffee in my cup holder on me and neither my husband or I drink coffee. Avoid this dealer at all costs. Because of them I seriously doubt I'd ever lease a Lincoln again. read more

My vehicle was towed to Crest Lincoln for repair back in December 2012 and I never received my vehicle back until March of 2013. I am not blaming the dealer for the length of time it took to get my vehicle repair after a front end accident to my car. I have had State Farm Insurance for about three years know and have been more than satisfied, my last experience with the State Farm claims department was fast and efficient. This time it was delay after delay every time more damage was uncovered with the vehicle, I had to wait for the adjustor to come out which took longer than necessary (and what I mean is several days to weeks). I would Highly Recommend making sure that if you need a body shop and purchased your vehicle from the Crest dealership group that you take it to a preferred dealer of your insurance company, that way know one is standing around waiting for adjustors and approval for money to get your car fixed. Also if you have front end damage make sure there is know battery damage, my car was put back together but didn't run. Ugh it was a long process but I am very happy to have my car back. I will say the service was very friendly which made it tolerable, and they covered the cost of my rental once my insurance ran out. read more

Avoid Crest Lincoln at all costs! Not only is the service manager rude (as other reviews attest to), the service advisor is worse. He is extremely condescending; and good luck on finishing a sentence as he interrupts you constantly. I actually called him out on it and he didn't care. Any problems you have with their service to your car will be turned around so that it's your fault. I had such a lack of confidence with their service that I took my car to another Ford mechanic to have checked out. Sure enough, he found a problem in how they put the engine cover on (was pinching the radiator hose) and Crest said I had a transmission fluid leak (wanted $510 to fix) - guess what? - NO fluid leaks anywhere. They will take you for all they can get. Looking at the negative reviews that have been posted over the last few weeks makes you wonder why the ownership/management hasn't done an overhaul on the service department. I you're considering a Lincoln I would rethink that. My 6 yr old Navigator w/89K miles had to have the entire ENGINE replaced! A part broke off from the inside of the engine damaging the piston resulting in a new engine being required. I went back & forth w/Lincoln themselves since the car was a whopping 19K miles over warranty and Crest wanted $8200 for a new engine! Lincoln ended up contributing $1600 toward the new engine (Lincoln also got Crest to reduce the engine price to $6200), leaving me w/an out-of-pocket cost of $4600. Very disappointing and unacceptable for a Ford truck engine to not even make it to 100K miles! I expected better than that. read more

Very upsetting. I took my MKS in for service. They forgot to change the air filters that were on the service ticket. They apologized and took my car back into the service department and advised me there would be no charge if I was willing to wait a few minutes they would change them at no cost. I waited and they told me all was completed. Recently I had taken my car to another location who showed me the air filters that were very dirty. The mechanic assured me that the filters were the same filters that were put in the car when it was sold new in 2011. There was no way in his opinion that the filters had ever been changed. Had I not have seen the filters myself and how dirty they were I probably would not have believed him. Very disappointed with Crest as I always thought the service department was top notch. Won't be going back to buy a car or have one serviced. read more

Amazing customer service!!! Steve Mo and Carrie Way went above & beyond to make the leasing experience of a new Lincoln absolutely phenomenal. It never felt like Steve was trying to "make a sale." He was up front on pricing and options/limitations and was direct and informative, but never pushy. When it came to what documents were needed to complete the sale it was seamless and a lot was able to be done online from my laptop at home. Don't ever come here. Swindled my mom into some kind of coverage warranty plan that she never agreed to. Asked to take it off, didn't do it until another 2 weeks later when we received our first bill from the bank. Visited the dealership and asked why the cancellation of the warranty wasn't taken off the total balance and made some stupid excuse about a new girl working that does the paperwork and forgot to send it. The cancellation finally went through and thought it was over but found out they threw in a $75 cancellation. They're dirty, swindling buffoons that will take advantage of inexperienced buyers. read more

This review is long overdue! I Promised myself I would not let this go to the wayside. I am currently free from arduous hours of study and work so I have more time to spend on this review. I first saw Lincoln MKX's at the Detroit auto show and really liked the look of it and the fact that the dealer/auto service department was just down the street from my house made it very convenient. In the past I have always purchased GM vehicles but this year I decided to try a Ford product. I special ordered my Lincoln MKX in April 2016 from Crest Lincoln in Sterling Heights, Michigan on Van Dyke and 15 Mile Road. It was delivered to the dealership and ready for pick up on Saturday, May 14th 2016. I told the dealership to take their time building the vehicle as I was not in a hurry because I was taking classes at University of Detroit Mercy. The total purchase price for this vehicle was $63,000. I drove it for approximately one week when one day I noticed white smoke coming from the rear of the car while at a stop sign, and often when I get ready to accelerate out of my driveway on early mornings just backing out. Also, when I dropped a friend off one night he noticed it too and said "that is not normal." I went in to the dealership and told my sales person and she did not seem to know what it could be and said to have Tim from auto service check it out in the service department. He had the car for about 1 hour and said it was ok. At this point there were only 350 miles on my newly built vehicle which Tim failed to document in their computer system. I then drove it for another few weeks and it started to happen again. I took it in for service in July and told Jeff in their auto department what was happening and he said it was ok. I drove it for another few weeks and started noticing it happening again. This time a light came on and said I was out of oil I had to get it serviced ASAP! I was told by Porsha, my sales person, back when I purchased the vehicle in May that my vehicle does not need to be serviced until 5,000 miles and it was barely at 3,000. I took it right over to the Crest Lincoln's auto service department and told Jeff that it was out of oil and still white smoke was coming out of the muffler. I said" I am disappointed in this company. I usually only buy GM vehicles and I thought I'd give you guys a try this time. This does not look good. I think you guys should check all the fluids while my vehicle is here so I do not have to keep coming back." They gave me a rental car and I picked my Lincoln MKX up later that day. The very next day the air conditioning went out during an extremely hot week in July. I couldn't get in the dealership immediately because they were booked up so I had to wait a few days. It was August 2nd that I took my car in again. I told Jeff that I had no air conditioning and expressed I was unhappy with Crest Lincoln. They gave me a rental car and the next day my car's air conditioning was fixed. So, I thought this would be the last time for a great while before I needed to go back again. Wrong, the white smoke started billowing from the rear of my vehicle again, this time it was worse. I was nervous to drive it. I stopped in and talked to Jeff. Jeff said they were booked until the following Thursday. I brought my car in on September 15th and they had it for one month. I was not exactly sure what was wrong with it. I would get phone messages stating it was still being worked on and parts were being ordered for it. After two weeks I went in to talk with the service manager. I brought a friend who is a car designer because he knows the automotive terminology and technical details, more than I do.. He told me along with many other people I've talked to, that it sounded like the head gasket was the problem. If that were the case it would be nothing but trouble from there. We talked to the service manager Bob Elliot and Jeff who works in the auto service department. We could not get a straight answer on what they were doing with my vehicle. I wanted to see their computer records and what parts they ordered and what they were waiting for. I wondered why they would not let me see. I told them that GM auto service department would have called me and told me what needed to be done get my OK and order the parts. It seems to me just because it is under warranty that the customer has no rights to know anything about their vehicle. They kept saying it wasn't the head gasket it was the turbo that needed to be changed. I asked "why is it taking so long and why did you mention a gasket?" They both looked at eachother like trying to cover something up. The next few days go by and Bob Elliot left me a voice mail and said give him a call back. I did and he said that it was the engine and the car did not look repairable and that I was more than likely going to be able to get a new vehicle. We bought a 2008 Cadillac CTS4 from Crest Lincoln and have had it in the shop 3 times already for repairs. Crest Lincoln notified us to bring our car back for a FREE 90,000 inspection, and after driving the 60 miles back to them for it, they then notified us it was gonna be $189.00... wasn't too happy about that unpleasant surprise. I must say that the service I received on this visit (my first) was terrific. The reviews I had read made me cautious but it was an oil change & tire rotation that was covered under the new car warranty for a 2015 Navigator. I had tried to make an appointment the day before but the phone lines went dead. Major road work in front of the dealer caused the problem so the appointment hadn't gone through. The service rep, Daryl, was very helpful in getting my car serviced and I was out of the dealership in just over an hour. considering I didn't have an appointment I didn't consider that to be a long wait. Only drawback is a part had to be back ordered and I will have to return. Will keep you posted and hope the next visit goes as well as the first. read more

Took my car in for the complimentary oil change/tire rotation. That was after numerous calls insisting that I had to bring it in, even though my mileage didn't require it. When I got my car back everything looked ok. The next day I noticed greasy finger prints all over the inside of my car. They were on the inside of the door and on the glove box.
