If I could give zero stars, I would. I've never written a negative review before, but the owner's behavior was beyond unprofessional. I inquired about altering a dress (shortening + a small stitch), and she quoted me $140--my sister had the same dress altered for a much lower price so I was shocked. Meanwhile, another tailor down the block did it for $45. When I expressed surprise at the price, she smacked a ruler on the counter in my face and snapped, "If you can't afford it, ask first. Look at this line!" I completely understand valuing time, and I even apologized to the two customers behind me, but there is no excuse for treating people this way. If you want fair pricing and basic respect, go elsewhere. read more

Came in with a dress and told them I needed it in a week. They then continued to tell me the dress was IMPOSSIBLE to fix and that it fits me fine. I drove down the street and another tailor (Unique Tailor) had absolutely no issues and pinned it in 45 seconds! Only come here if it is last resort. read more

This is the absolute worst tailor I have ever been to in my entire life. The owner is arrogant and rude and an AWFUL tailor. She ruined my daughter's very expensive dress and when I asked her to please fix the hem, she was defensive and defiant. She finally agreed to have my daughter come in so she could fix it. My daughter called me and said the tailor told her to get out and the dress is fine. I am blown away and speechless. I have this same exact dress that I had hemmed from a very experienced tailor and it's perfect. I only went to Crest Tailor because I was in this shopping center and thought it would be convenient. Extremely expensive. I had a dress altered and paid for it. When I went to pick up the dress it was $32 more. After paying $65 initially and an added $32 just to add a ruffle I think this is outrageous! I tried the dress on when I got home and the hem is uneven. Absolutely flawless work! I visited this location at the recommendation of a friend who had been going here for years. I'm so glad I did! I had a dress hemmed and altered at the bust-line and it looks incredible. It really was flawless work. It was a little pricier than I anticipated, but the attention to detail was well worth it. I don't always get what I pay for, but most of the time. I can't speak to complex alterations, but do see there is a man who appears to work on things like the shoulder fit in suits, etc.; the more difficult of tailoring jobs. My alterations are mostly hemming, darts, sleeve lengths, and zippers. When they're good, they're really good and at a very fair price, and will accommodate special requests if they can. Just know they're typically booked solid, so get your item(s) in as quickly as possible. On complex fabrics or alterations, ask them if they feel comfortable working on the item and take them at their word. I didn't do that once: I took a pleated skirt in for hemming for a wedding. Yes, the fabric was slick and more difficult to work with than typical, but got it back 1-1/2 inches longer than requested (which is not good when you're short) and the waist was so large that had I not pinned it, it would have fallen to the floor! (I just made the best of it and did get compliments.) Reading some of the negative reviews, I think the key is to greet them with respect, and understand that everyone wants something special! Bring in clean items, too. Be very specific about what you want and record what is agreed to on the receipt, then bring the receipt in when you pick your items up, and perhaps even try the item on while you're there. read more

Insane in the membrane. Crest charged me more than i paid for the Actual pants and Long sleeve shirt. The tailoring work on it was okay. The vibe i got was that they charge you as much as they can. Being real and calling it like it is. Insulting. $200 is excessive, yet I paid it. What it tells me is they would rather take a chance with me and do bad business for money. The cut the bottom of my dress uneven and the other to short they was both special occasion dresses they made me pay and then said to releave my dress to be fix just the uneven one cause there was nothing they can do for the one they cut to short. I went in to have a blouse taken in at the sides. I tried it on and she pinned it up, took about 5 mins. She is writing my ticket, looks at the shirt and says "um it'll be like.....$52....$59 with tax". I told her I couldn't pay that much and she told me I was wasting her time that I should have asked for the price before hand. There was no price list and I have had lots of things altered in my life and have NEVER paid anything remotely close to that. It seemed that she just made up a random price and was very rude when I contested. Told me multiple times as I was walking out that I wasted her time. Do NOT recommend. read more

Do NOT go here. I brought a simple black dress ($50) that needed to be hemmed and bra pads sewn in. She marked it and then told me it would be $86. I told her the dress was only $50 and so this was out of my price range, but I stated that I recognized that her time was probably worth that. She then told me she needed to get her marks off the dress, and I would need to pick it up in two days. I told her I couldn't wait because I had a wedding in a couple weeks and needed to bring it to a different tailor. She then demanded I pay for "wasting her time." I just picked up a 2 pairs of jeans from this tailor and he charged me $47. AND DID NOT DO THE ORIGINAL HEM!!! I asked him multiple times to do original hem when I dropped them off a week ago, and he agreed. The jeans don't look terrible, but they are NOT original hem, and I have NEVER EVER paid more than $15 per pair for ORIGINAL HEMMED jeans. I had some jobs done in this place previously, nothing other world her performance, pricey, but ok. I went back, as it is a convenient location to show my wedding dress, see what options I have to close the back, it was too small unfortunately. I tried on, we talked how much material I would need, spent there max 15 minutes, there was no one else in the shop. She suggested to cut all the way until the end of the dress and replace 2 big pieces, was the best way to do it-she says...how much? minimum 200$. I could not find the exact material, so after a few days I went back again, telling that I found an organza that looks quite similar what I already have in the dress, asking how much, it is now just the back and a little piece of organza...still at least 200$ and she also told me (watch this!) if I ask more questions, she will start charging me by question! (hey lady...this is not just a summer dress, this is my WEDDING DRESS!) if I spend 200$ for a small job like that, I think I can ask as many questions as I can...and there was no one either at this point there....so no one was waiting there, to explain why she needed to be so rude! so after she told me this, I almost cried-was already quite sad that I cannot close it--, felt so bad, she was so bad educated...there was a person coming in, so I packed my stuff and left. She has lost a returning customer and all the future job I would have brought to her! I am taller than normal, so always have lot of skirt/trousers etc. to adjust. Never again will go back to this place, still so shocked how could she tell me that?! And I was there 5 minutes, with 3 previous questions, just normal thinks to make sure it will turn out nice, as again, this is my wedding dress! If I could give 0 stars I would. They ruined a pair of $140.00 jeans and were so incredibly rude about it. They burnt them and then tried to tell me it was "paint splatter" in the design. They were designer jeans from Neiman Marcus and I don't wear nor have I ever owned "paint splatter" jeans. I took them to Bibbentuckers whom confirmed they WERE BURNED from an iron. Tried to charge me $90 to let out the hem in a dress 2 inches! I've had them let out hems in my dresses before and it's never cost more than $30. When I dropped the dress off, they didn't tell me there was anything different about this one, nor did they call my during the 2 weeks they said it would take to let out the hem. After 2 weeks, when I went to pick it up, it still wasn't ready and they told me to come back in 30 minutes. I came back an hour later and when they rang it up, they told me it was $90!! I almost fell over. I said what are you talking about, it's never cost more than $30? She just said, "this cost more," and never explained why (it was a simple dress, no pleating or anything unusual). I told her that was outrageous and they should have told me when I dropped it off or called me if it was going to cost so much more (they had my phone number on the ticket). She replied, "you should have asked how much it cost." After much argument, they knocked the price down to $70 - which I still think is outrageous. Never go there!!!!! read more
