I Googled a tailor that could alter some fast fashion clothing that I needed for work the next week. When I stopped into this location, they instantly welcomed me and didn't judge my cheap material for one second. A few clothes pins and chalk markings later, my pieces were ready to snip and stitch and I left feeling valued and respected. Today, when I got my items, I felt like a distinguished woman. These clothes, shot out by the thousands in a one-size-fits-all format, suddenly wrapped around me in the right areas and highlighted the best parts of me, as if these were made just for me. The wonderful people here adjusted things I didn't even know needed it. Luckily, they're stuck with a lifelong customer and I hope people, both near and far, come here to get their pieces altered/tailored for any and all events.

One was finishing up and heading into her dressing room. The other was in her dressing room about to go in from of the mirrors. During this transition, the young Asian man never acknowledged me walking in or taking a seat. The Second Lady went into her fitting room. The First Lady came out. The guy goes behind the counter. Still nothing... for the 3 minutes I sat there, no one said a word to me and there was another person in the back.... There is NO WAY I'd spend my money with people that won't even look at me or acknowledge my presence in the store. Maybe another black person should go in and see if they have the same experience.
