    Brunch drink menu

Creston Brewery has become one of my go-to spots! The food is so good and the portions are generous. I've tried the jalapeno popper grilled cheese, their brunch, and the falafel naan wrap recently and everything is so delicious. The falafel was not dry and the naan was soft. I loved this vegetarian option and would get it again, but it's hard to choose something to eat at Creston because everything sounds great. I recently had a few bites of Nate's olive burger and it was one of the best classic burgers I've had in awhile. Not super greasy and I didn't feel really weighed down afterwards. Their fries were hot and fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Our friend got the fish and chips last time we went and it was a massive portion with two huge filets! It looked super crispy and delicious, so that's what I'm getting next time. We went for Sunday brunch once and really enjoyed that food, too. I don't drink much beer these days, so I can't really comment on them, but they are a Saugatuck Brewing Company location now, so they offer several of those beers as well as original Creston brews. I love that they often have live music - the jazz during brunch is super fun and really elevates the experience. They also have other weekly events like trivia and bingo. Happy hour runs Monday through Thursday 4-6pm and Friday 3-5pm. The space is very unique and pretty large, so I've never had to wait for a table. Upstairs is an event space that can be rented out. There is plenty of street parking nearby as well as a parking lot across the street. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Creston!

Love this place for a weekend brunch. It's very open and kid friendly. On an early Sunday afternoon, they had a sax player playing live music. They have a good variety on the menu for cocktails, food, beer (owned by saugatuck brewing), and a kids menu. Quiche Lorraine, eggs Benedict, and the fried chicken sandwich are delicious. Everyone loves the breakfast potatoes-not greasy or dry and seasoned well (guessing they are baked?) Service and ambience is nice.

1st timer today at Creston/Saugatuck brewery! Was really good - we were there and got breakfast/brunch. Had a somebody playing Jazz Music too which was neat. Service wonderful, very friendly.

Great service, beer, atmosphere for a fun weekend date night! We enjoyed a flight of beer and the cauliflower appetizer. We got the smash burger and fish and chips for our entrees and they were both really good! Highly recommend checking it out

Nice place. We stopped in for a beer on Sunday and they were doing a jazz brunch. Cool atmosphere. This is actually Saugatuck Brewing but you can get drinks as well. The kitchen puts out some tasty food too. This would be a good place for a crowd of folks-They have booths big enough to seat 8!

Came here specifically to check out their dog friendly patio. It's not the largest but it does it's job: allows you to drink with your dog. The staff were super friendly and even brought dog treats out to all the dogs, which usually most places just do water, so it was so cool. I'd drink here with my dog again. Probably get some food next time too.

I'm not usually a huge fan of breweries, but this one has so much personality! The space is eclectic and beautiful, with the tin ceilings and pretty pillars, and the cool bar area. It's spacious and light and with its big windows. I got their cider since I'm not a huge beer drinker, and it was perfectly crisp, not too sweet, not too dry. We ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer; they were incredible, and came with this really good remoulade. I'd go back just for those :) The order is small and simple, so I just got an olive burger, which was great. But the specials looked interesting! I'll definitely be back!

First beer flight: Bokonon Hazy IPA, Quimby Brown, Earl Grey ESB, and Polar Bear ale.

This place absolutely lived up to the hype from my brother and sister in law. The staff were kind and engaged me in conversation, the hush puppies are some of the best I've had since I left the Savannah, Georgia area in 2009, and the beer (with one or two exceptions) is flavorful and well made. They were super patient with me when I sent the chicken sando back twice (it was too salty for me fried, and grilled) and one of the owners came out and asked exactly which part of the sandwich was salty and I felt heard on that point. The folks at Creston really made the difference for me as a patron, and honestly that's one of the things I miss about living here in Grand Rapids. It's the personal level of engagement and the care they put in to customer service. Creston will definitely be first on my list when I return for my next visit!

SERVICE:5 FOOD QUALITY: 4 DRINK QUALITY: 4 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 4 MENU SELECTION: 4 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.42 Friends have recommended this place multiple times so we finally ventured over. The space is perfectly placed on the corner and is a very large venue with lots of a seating. We found there to be very limited parking for the amount of seats they offer but after a few minutes of driving in circles we found a spot. Upon entering you are welcomed with a smile and plenty of seating. We chose to sit at the bar which was also very large and welcoming. The beers were delicious and idealistic to the Grand Rapids scene. We also wanted to try the food to get the full experience to share with our friends. We ordered the Creston fries with caddywhompus sauce and it was superb. We actually rated them as the second best fries we have eaten since moving here. They were cooked to perfection and the sauce is heavenly. For dinner I ordered the Vietnamese chicken and it was also delicious. The chicken was juicy and the pita was extra warm and soft. This is a fun venue with ring toss games and lots of space and seating. Definitely see this place being a great place to bring a party.

Spacious, open brewery a bit off the main drag in Grand Rapids. They have space for a dance floor and I think they have live music some of the time. Went there for brunch with the lady friend on a Sunday around noon and had no wait. Service was prompt and friendly (the waitress chatted with us about Grand Rapids as this was our first visit). We enjoyed the food quite a bit. I got a spinach and mushroom omelette and it was heavy on the veggies which I liked a lot (you don't often get big portobello mushrooms at a restaurant). My girlfriend got the burrito bowl which was a good deal--large portion with rice, beans, egg, and cheese. They also bring out a tray of five homemade sauces that go very well with brunch dishes. My favorite was the smokey flavored one (I forget the name!). Drink menu was excellent too. They have a wide variety of beverage options and, best of all, they offer them in many sizes (e.g., 4 oz, 8oz, 16oz, pitcher). My girlfriend wanted a drink but not a large one, so she got a small sized drink with chai tea flavor. Interesting!

Luckily for us, we were able to get a table right away. Don't sleep on this place! We got a delicious and filling meal for about $30! The menu has changed a bit since they first opened in 2023 with more options for entrees. We ordered the yuca, chorizo, and beef and potato empanadas to share. I'd love to come back to try the steak and other options. Our food came out quickly and everything was super hot and fresh. Their yuca is the best I've ever had - super crispy on the outside and perfectly salted, and not dry inside. I do recommend eating the yuca before it gets too cold, it's best when it's freshly fried! I loved the empanadas with the tender shredded beef and soft potatoes inside. The included hot sauce gave them the perfect kick. The chorizo was a great side to add some more protein, and it was flavorful and not too dry. I think it came with an arepa on the side, which was surprisingly delicious! The vibe inside is cute and has a cafe feel, and I can't wait to come back to try more of their menu. I did ask if the salchipapas were still on the menu because I didn't notice it listed, and was assured they still make this dish! That was my favorite last time, so I'm looking forward to getting that one again too. We're lucky to have this special spot right downtown, so hopefully more people will check it out.

We started with some fried sweet plantains which were served with cheese, Honduran sour cream (more like crema), and refried beans. We loved them, nice and hot and fun to try with the various additions. I ordered the chicken San Pedro, which was fried chicken with plantains, cabbage, onions, Pico, and plenty of tasty sauce. The sauce on it was so good and almost hard to describe- tangy and somewhat sweet. The chicken was cooked well and I really liked the plantains, I of course don't eat a lot of those. My husband ordered the empanadas (pastelitos) and he was in the clean plate club. We also got a horchata and Jamaica. They also serve breakfast all day which I'm sure we will come back for. May be worth noting that this isn't your typical Mexican or tex-mex fare, for people who don't know what Honduran cuisine is. It may be slightly outside of someone's comfort zone- but that's not a problem, just a heads up if you go with someone picky or expecting Mexican food specifically. One thing- we came on a Friday evening and we were the only ones until we were about to leave. You hate to see that for a small business!! This place deserves our attention and business. There's plenty of seating inside. So get out here and try it if you're considering it, hmm I keep driving by that bright blue building, what is it? It's your next tasty meal!

Last time I went here I stood at the checkout for 20 minutes waiting for an employee to take my order while they all just stood in the back of the kitchen staring at me. Finally someone came out to tell me that they were on break and I would have to come back later. If you are going to completely shut down in the middle of the day for lunch, then fine, but you have to post some kind of sign so that people know the restaurant is closed. On top of this, they took out the toppings bar, which was really the only thing that made this place good (considering the chicken tacos are inedible without the toppings). Now, you have to ask the very rude employees for toppings if you don't want to eat your food completely plain. (Good luck with that by the way. Every time I ask for toppings you'd think I just told them to drop what they're doing to run a 5k. They really hate doing their job that much). When they do give you toppings, it comes in a super small container that doesn't even provide enough for one taco. They also refuse to give you more than two containers of toppings, so if you are ordering a full meal (like three tacos w/ a side of rice), you are pretty much guaranteed be eating it plain. It's really a shame because this was the last half way decent Tacos el Cunado left in GR. Unfortunately, we'll have to find somewhere else now.
