The units are very spacious, recently renovated, and the utilities are all brand new. We never had any issues with the apartment's utilities. We have absolutely loved living here. Neighbors are very friendly and quiet. The nature in the complex is very beautiful, maintained weekly, and makes our apartment much more homey. We also love how the complex is gated and we always felt very safe here. The new laundry machines are very easy to use and make laundry less of a hassle. Maria has been an absolutely wonderful landlord and we could not have asked for better management. Communication with her is never a struggle and when you express concerns, she is quick to reply and offer solutions. We are very grateful that our first apartment was such a wonderful place. For personal reasons we had to move, but we wish we could stay here longer. Los Olivos will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Sure, it may not be the most luxurious, but granted the accommodations at the rate you are paying, it is a steal. I only moved in a couple of months ago and was told that management was going to install new windows. It was the type of thing where I wasn't sure new windows would actually get installed, but sure enough they did install new windows! And the windows are very nice and help better insulate the apartment.

We have lived here since 2024 and were assigned a garage. After someone jumped the property gate and damaged our vehicle, we raised security concerns and were temporarily given the garage. Later, we were told that garage was needed for incoming residents and we had a new assigned carport. I explained I did not feel comfortable using an open space since there had been damaged to my car, the assistant told me she would share my feedback to the manager and the manager would get back to me but never then. Then came 2 days later then the controller for our assigned garage stopped working, and we discovered the code had been changed and our belongs had been thrown away or someone from maintenance named Andres kept them. The biggest issue was the lack of communication between management. Celina said she was not aware the garage belonged to us, while another staff member apparently believed it was vacant but if it were to be vacant why would they call us to let us know they needed it for incoming residents. Maintenance was instructed to clean it out, and some of our belongings were discarded because they were apparently mistaken for trash. We never authorized anyone to remove or dispose of our property. We were also never told to remove our belongings Trying to get the situation addressed has been extremely frustrating. The main office representatives have been disrespectful and unhelpful. We were given the supervisor Humberto's number and called approximately 20 times, leaving multiple voicemails, but never received a response. We repeatedly contacted Celina to let her know Humberto was not responding. We were told there was nothing she could do other than continue forwarding our emails to him, and that she was not the manager in charge. As residents, we expected management to know which garage was assigned to us, communicate with us before making changes, protect our belongings, and actually provide assistance when something goes wrong. I'm posting this so residents can make an informed decision. I'm also considering sharing our experience on TikTok so others can see what happened If you are considering renting here, I recommend asking detailed questions about garage assignments, security, management communication, and what happens to residents' belongings before signing..

Still no parking, so we went back around to park in the residential area. As we were walking to the office, the bushes were see-through, so you're able to see the front doors of the townhomes. Leasing office had the open sign up, but nobody opened the door when we rang the doorbell. Called the 833 area code number, said they weren't on site but the office should be open so they provided the 562 area code number. Called, but nobody answered. One suggestion is to put up a sign that says when you'll be back, like X minutes or X o'clock. We waited a little over 10 minutes, and left. It was really inconvenient having to drop by during business hours with nobody at the leasing office.

I was also retaliated against and received a 30-day notice shortly after, and my deposit stolen after my move out (no damage), and Kareen went as far as to lie under oath after i filed a lawsuit to recover my deposit, saying false statements from a 60 day notice, as well as getting charged for keys for a keyless lock, she also went on to exaggerate that I "physically abused" my dad (co-signer at the time), over a slap on the wrist during an argument between us When I filed to recover my deposit, her supervisor, Jeffrey Alan Nath, stated my case would "get dismissed" in court. Plot Twist: it didn't, I won :))) moral of the story this goes to show the integrity - or lack thereof of management here.....

While the walls here are actually well-insulated, the noise from some neighbors is so loud it feels like it's coming through the walls. The disturbances are especially unbearable at night, sometimes going on until 1-2 AM, and in the early morning hours. It's nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. I've reached out to the leasing office multiple times about the noise, but it's like talking to a brick wall. Their response is always the same: "It's normal apartment living," with no effort made to address the issue or find a solution. I'm completely at the mercy of my neighbors' schedules, and it's incredibly frustrating to never be able to rest in my own home. Parking is another nightmare. Guest parking is extremely limited, and it's often occupied by residents who park there. As a result, guests have nowhere to park and sometimes will just park in assigned spots. I spent over a year communicating with the office to resolve this, and it took that long for them to even send the proper paperwork regarding assigned spots, leaving me unable to call a tow truck when necessary. While many of the residents here are kind and friendly, the few disruptive ones make the experience far less enjoyable. The grounds staff are wonderful and do their best, but unfortunately, the office staff are a completely different story. They're rude, hard to get ahold of, and generally unhelpful. One other thing to note--beware of any review written in October 2024. The complex was offering a cash reward raffle to residents who submitted 5-star reviews, so I would question the authenticity of some of those ratings. This is actually my second time writing this review, as the first one was mysteriously deleted. Overall, while this place has potential, the lack of noise control, parking management, and unresponsive office staff make it not worth the hassle and definitely not worth the 3k a month price.
