Why not just get the combo then? $55 was not worth it for the express. Something you can do at home. Was couple soaps on your face and a hot towel and a face mask. And that's it. The sign made the express facial limited only outside sign made it seem so special but it's standard facial they have on their menu. Was very disappointed and won't be coming back. I understand costs have gone up. But if you're only going to do the bare minimum then charge accordingly.

I visited Hello Beautiful, because I wanted a good facial and thought a chemical peel would help revealed nicer skin, which they promote; worst mistake ever. I should've known better when the esthetician started applying the peel and I felt my face burning but she kept reassuring me it was normal. I should've known better that it wasn't normal for your skin to feel like it was being dipped in acid. Perhaps, I'm just one in a million that this happens to and I'm sure they provide other services that they have success with but my experience was very negative, extremely negative and the responsiveness of it seem a bit uncaring. I received my peel a Saturday before the freeze, so I understand they were closed but took them a bit to respond. I just believe, us as consumers need to be more careful on who we allow to work on our faces and ask questions and if it doesn't feel right don't continue even if you are being told it's normal. As I've stated in beginning the place is nice, is clean the staff is polite; I even tipped my esthetician; But they are not very knowledgeable of skin reactions to peels, or have been very responsive. I was offered another peel for $500.00 to fix the damage the first peel has done; and the explanation that since I have mature skin, perhaps a peel wasn't the best option. A manager didn't reached out to me til, I mentioned I would write a bad review. I didn't respond because I have lost trust in them; and I would rather spend money on a dermatologist to help me. The peel the second peel, they offered, the $500.00 didn't warranty that my skin will recover fully. I've visited other MedSpas for facials, hydra facials, and never have I experienced any damage to my skin or have I ever written a negative review for anyone. I'm sharing my experience because we need to be aware and ask questions and if it doesn't feel right ask for the treatment to be stopped and do not proceed. I'm just very upset my face looks bad. I know it'll take a while to get it better but I'm going to a dermatologist to get my skin to how it was before getting the peel. Initially, I was assured, even prior to booking the first consult that there would be no problem in filling out short term leave for work and that I could have more consults if I had any questions. The first consult went well, but after I did have initial questions, so I scheduled a second - about a couple weeks later, which also went well. I felt like she understood what I was looking for and we were completely aligned. I was excited and looking forward to getting the paperwork done. Fast forward to today, I went into complete pre-op paperwork and was specifically asked to come in the AM and come earlier then original time, I agreed. I was there exactly at my appointment time and brought my family with me. As I sat there, time went by and I asked the ladies in the front how much longer as I needed to get back to work, I was called 40 minutes after my appointment. I wasn't happy about this and did express it to the staff but needed to get the paperwork done and ask a few more questions to Dr. Hustak. The medical assistants were nice and said the Dr. wanted to talk to me prior to signing, so I said ok. Dr. Hustak came in like a storm, sat down and started to share how concerned she was regarding what had happened. It felt like a mom scolding a child. I listened and shared my perspective, she was very emotional and upset, went on to gaslight me by saying I created a "toxic work environment" by expressing upset about the wait. She then started to revisit items, that before - we discussed and she was fine, but now she suddenly had concerns. We went over everything and had a decent conversation, but it almost felt like I was testifying and being attacked at the same time. The previous bubbly and friendly doctor turned into this angry person and showed her true colors. She may be a board-certified plastic surgeon, but she has a temper, low emotional intelligence and a fragile ego that was easily broken by a patient expressing discontentment about the 40 min wait. She offered a refund of the deposit, if I changed my mind even after signing the paperwork. Even after she left, I did not feel good about the situation and did not sign the paperwork, I let the assistants know I would have to think it over. We were about to leave, when the CEO Karen came in and asked, "how can I help you?" We didn't ask for her nor were expecting her, but her tone came across like we had done something wrong. Amy her Healthcare Coordinator was completely different too, she went from friendly, to like we had committed some crime and avoided eye contact. I ended up paying for the consult and getting a refund for the deposit in full as it felt like this was not a good fit for a mutual collaborative exchange. I left there shocked, completely in awe of the extreme change, and counted my blessings to God because the last thing I need is a doctor with a huge EGO and ANGER MGT issues operating on me. So, in a nutshell, if you stand up and advocate for yourself, ask questions/share concerns, they take it personal and WILL GANG UP ON YOU. They will GASLIGHT YOU, they will completely CHANGE. It is one thing to research a surgeon who may have the skills, certification, memberships, etc... but always remember the bedside manner and how they treat you when something goes wrong is the true character of the person under all the degrees.

I had been coming for a few years, even with the various mishaps with my treatment. On one visit, they injected a solution into my neck where my neck had various swollen bumps. Dr. Ali said it will go down because the solution is mostly water! What?! They gave me an ice pack! Dr. Ali complains about the firm's management and says she may be leaving. So unprofessional! Today I learned that the business claims I owe a balance. I paid for each treatment, including the incident with swollen bumps and the water solution injection. I will pay the balance because I will never go there again. My experience has been horrible! The breakup from Dr. Moloney makes sense now. I understand why she left. I want to make sure anyone else looking for service understands they should be aware of this group. I see all the other negative comments, and now I understand.
