They lure you in with promotions and when things go wrong and you want a refund or something, they don't go by the receipts they printed out for you. My mom bought two cases and wanted to return two cases but they wouldn't give back the full amount saying that she read it wrong when clearly the receipt broke down the individual costs. I walked in intended to switch my cell service. The gal quoted me one price, and one price only, which is $90 for two lines with unlimited data. Little did she know, I checked the price online before I go, there are at least 4 other different plans. She didn't know I speak Mandarin so judging from the small talk between employees, I gathered that the company wanted her to quote only one price. This way of doing business is dishonest and sketchy. She should have laid out all the plans and let the customer choose, like any honest business would do! read more

Worst service ever! I had the worst customer service with cricket. My friend was not able to use her phone. She called cricket and they say it's because of the charge back on April and May and ask her to pay. She wanted to pay over the phone but they don't take card, so they direct her to a store. She drove there and found out that it's a store in Targe, they don't take cash, and they charge to fee if she want to pay there. Today we went to the bank and there is no charge back. Then we called cricket to see how to solve the issue. The first representative hung up on us, and the second one kept repeating the same situation, and then finally they got the manager on the line. The manager was not able to articulate the issue. After a TWO HOUR conversation we finally figured out that the problem was with Feb and Mar, not Apr and May. SIMPLE ISSUE LIKE THIS TOOK 3 CALLS AND SO MANY HASSLE!!!! They want to charge $141. $55 for each moth. $31 for a fee because of the switch of the billing circle. And $5 for the delay. At the end, the manager was able to refund $5 fee. FIVE DOLLAR FEE FOR ALL THE HASSLE!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM CRICKET! WORST EVER!!! read more

On Saturday June 12 my wife and I went to this store to get a bigger phone and we selected a red Iphone but he told us that our old phone will be 6 months on June 14 and we cannot get a discount until after June 14. I told him to save the red phone for us and we will come back on June 19. He said yes. He did not ask me to pay first nor pay a deposit to save the phone he said he will hold the phone for us. When I came back on the 19th he told me that he has already sold the red phone that we asked him to save and he had only another red phone which was another model and more expensive. You asking me why I am giving this place 1 star again? Because I just had to redo my phone rebate as these kids did not put correct information on the rebate form. Geee, At the time of purchase, these kids make it sounds like they know everything and will take care of everything. Well, big surprise and sad how these kids messed up a the rebate form. Seriously, these kids are selling phones all day and yet failed to put "x" next to the correct phone on the rebate form. These kids marked the wrong phone so my rebate was approved for $50 instead of $75. One thing I hate as much as liars are incompetent workers. I underestand that they are doing their best and have best intentions for themselves but they are just not good and simply incompetent kids. However, I still believe in the humanity and help those who can be saved. So I would like to warn other people to check and double check anything and everything done in ths place. Better yet, just avoid this place and use online OFFICAL Cricket store. This place is not an official Cricket corporate store, it is just a affiliation store. Good news is that the rebate mess caused by this store was fixed by a quick online chat w/ the Cricket Wireless online support and I just had to fax the correct rebate form w/ the receipts. read more

If I can give them a zero star I could that do. This Fremont Cricket Wireless has really really horrible customer service. I had my plan opened here in early May, the lady who helped me said she could give me a promotion from basic plan to smart plan for a month (which is great). She mentioned that I will see $150 (instead of $100) charged for my second month, but I should see a $50 credit on the third month. I paid my second month bill, and start noticing my third month statement still listed me as smart plan, and I am charged for $150 for my third month. I made a call to the store, and the lady told me they forgot to change my plan back to Basic. By the time I called them, it was 8 days passed the 3rd billing cycle, which I have to pay an extra $13 (which is not a lot), but I asked if they could reimburse me that credit since it was not my mistake to begin with. They said there is no way that they could reimburse me any credit to my account, even it was their mistake!! Insane! They offered me to come pick out something and have that credit deduct from there. I went there the next day to pick out a phone and add the differences, and the lady told me the phone that I picked out is not available, and had me left my information and come back for the next day. Given my experiences dealing with these ladies, I wanted make sure the phone is there before I drive my way out, which I made a call to the store, and not to my surprise, the other lady said the phone is not available, and there is also no information showing that I reserved the phone!! Are you kidding me? Then what was the point of leaving my information for! I really hate dealing with people that is so dishonest. read more

Took 2 hours to port a line and to add a new one. But worse than that I paid $70 ($35 per line) for something that costs $2 online right now. I went to this store thinking that it is owned by Cricket, but they are a retailer. So everything costs extra. Had I known that, I would probably not have gone there. They charged $20 (per line) for the sim card kit, which is $0.99 online right now. They charged $15 (per line) for the activation fee. Online the activation fee is $0. They said that I could get some accessories for the $30 (2 x 15) that I paid for the activation fee. I picked a 16GB SD card. They said it's retail price was $34.99 but they would give me a "discount" and give it to me for $30. $34.99 for a 16GB card seemed rather high, and guess what: on Amazon it sells for $7. I actually paid $7 just in taxes for the 2 sim card kits and the $30 sd card. So I wasted 2 hours of my time and paid $70 for it. They were courteous and the store was clean, so the one star should take care of that. Note to self: 1. check prices online for anything before going to a store. 2. Always check whether a store that sounds like it is company owned is really company owned. read more
