But in our case we owned an all in one multi-function printer that cost way over $375.00 so when we started having print error problems throwing it away was not be the best option for us, also it was only two years old. Let's start off with wow! First let me say that Deen's is this little shop in Fremont that is one of those hidden little secrets! My Brother color laser printer needed servicing for the 1st time in 11 years. Finding an authorized repair shop near me (Foster City) was a little difficult, but I saw good reviews for Deens in Fremont, so decided to go. They're one of the few shops that is open on Saturdays. I took it in on Saturday; Kurt called me Tuesday saying it needed a fuser unit and roller kit. It was ready on Thursday. I was very happy with the price, as this printer has always worked perfectly, and as Kurt said, the newer printers aren't made as well. Kurt the service manager helped me over the phone for 9 minutes to get a new ink cartridge working for an Epson XP-7100 printer (neither ink nor printer was bought from Deens, but it was listed under Epson printer tech support contact). He diagnosed likely causes of the problem (which was that the Epson cartridge, not expired, was not recognized by the printer) but in the end just trying again a couple of times made it start working. Very happy for the help via talking on the phone while I re-installed the ink cartridge a couple of times, saved a trip somewhere to buy more ink and maybe that wouldn't have fixed it either. read more

My 7 year old EPSON ET-2750 got an E-11 "Ink Pad Needs Service" error which didn't allow me to print anything. After a google search, the fix required a PC, a shady app download and the new parts. We have an Epson WF-7610 that was functioning like normal, except for one important detail... when it printed, nothing would show up on the paper. It took a Google search to locate this Epson authorized service shop. The technicians diagnosed the problem within a day, and got it ready to go in a couple days. When we picked it up, they showed us an example printout on photo paper, and we swore it was like a brand new printer had fallen into our hands. The pricing for service was fair and reasonable, and the technicians explained everything and were very knowledgeable.
