The only reason I'm writing now is because my iPhone is paid off now, and I figured I'd reach out one last time before switching to Verizon. When I signed up with this AT&T location in the fall of 2017, I was told I would get a $400 credit - but that it may take several months to arrive. There was a red flag: During my time in the store a man walked in and said it had been six months and he hadn't received his credit. I have the names of every employee or representative of the company that I spoke to. One of the first excuses was that the original manager that had offered me the deal had changed stores. Eventually I moved up the line and spoke with someone from the corporate side of AT&T and they told me they couldn't do anything because this Leominster location is technically a franchise, not a corporate store. As some backstory, the then-manager of this store offered me a 2x$200 credit. He said I should verify that my phone could be ported then come back next week and get this deal done. Evidently the AT&T credit offer technically expired over that weekend (this is something I learned later) - but the manager absolutely knew I was signing up because of that sweet $400 offer. I'm told that if the manager had simply noted in the system that that the customer (me) was promised the credit, then we wouldn't be in this mess. I want to add that everybody I dealt with was very friendly - but nobody seems to have the authority to fix my situation. I cannot in good conscience recommend any deals that involve credits.

I was told to bring the bills from the other company to the store and they would get me the refund. Despite being my only option, I suspected they would do nothing; and I was right. I gave them the time line and was promised a callback with an update on the following Monday. They never called. I tried call multiple times but I sent to voicemail every time. Ironic that a phone store never answers the phone. I went to store and that's when everything fell apart. They began by going back on EVERYTHING they and the call center said. They blamed me for their errors and refused to take any responsibility. I was left without the promised refund and by being a feeling that they blamed me for their errors. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE. if you can get rid of AT&T.

There's a new (and very fragile) connection to the iTouch / home button which is easy to break - which I did. I also managed to break the ribbon connection when trying to install the new battery. I went to the mall to see what my options were for a new iPhone. As luck would have it, I noticed The Fix which is near the SEARS entrance on the second floor. The gentleman was friendly and said he could repair the phone. I returned with the phone. Battery, screen, home button and a new glass protector installed in 15 minutes and for a very reasonable price. Very happy to have this service here. A few years ago, my phone charging port was not working right in and I was in the process of getting new phones and changing providers. He couldn't repair it. He hooked me up with a gadget to charge my phone till I got the new ones. Today I stopped by because every time I plugged my cellphone auto charger into my saddlebag port on my Indian Chieftain motorcycle, it knocked the FM radio right out. All FM. I also have had issues in my truck with certain FM stations using these cheapo chargers. I showed Ibrahim when I brought my bike in today, and he said............"I'll be right back". Brought out his auto charger and BOOM. All good. It takes A to C and C to C cables also! It was the cheap dollar store chargers that were causing all the interference. I had also bought some quality in home wall chargers from him when I got new phones. They work GREAT. He sells "the good stuff" but much cheaper than the phone dealers. I bought 2 of these new auto chargers for our vehicles and 1 for my bike. When my current major carrier contract runs out I may go with a service that he provides because he treats you right and makes sure he can help you.
