I stopped in your store during a recent trip to Jensen Beach after being notified by AT&T that I…read morehad paid off my cell phone and that I was eligible for a free upgrade. Lupe suggested a Samsung S25. He assured me that it would cost me nothing and that all of my contacts and other data would seamlessly transfer over to this new phone. It all sounded so easy. Earlier this week, I received the phone and I took it to a local AT&T store. I encountered all types of issues with transferring emails, data, etc. I did not have time to go back to the store that day, so I called AT&T customer service who agreed that not everything had been transferred to the new phone and we did that process again. After a number of hours and several customer service reps unable to help me, I decided to take the phone back to the store. Then I was told that I would have to return it at a company store so I headed over there. The manager helped me get the phone to better, but not great condition. I tried it for a day or two and, as per AT&T policy and what you told me, I went back to the company AT&T store in Vero Beach this morning where, after all that I had been through, the manager advised me that despite your repeated assurances to the contrary, my current Samsung phone was not eligible for this upgrade and I would have to pay $1,000 for the phone. When I told him that I wanted to return it, he hot me with a $55.00 restocking fee--inexcusable. It took me more than an hour and 4 calls to AT&T's loyalty retention division to get the restocking fee cancelled. As a result of all of this, I plan to cancel ALL of my many AT&T accounts including cellular service, internet, and Direct TV. Itruly hope that your other c customers receive better service from you.

I would also receive an iPad, again, have one, don't need one, but this one is newer and has stand alone capabilities and that is free too. Take it they said. Then I was given a new apple watch, again have one, it's free, they said you might as well take it, so I did and gave it to my son-in-law. They said it would look like I'm being charged, and then later it would somehow get it reversed and I would pay nothing for all three items. I never got a paper bill but when I finally got on my app one day two years later, I saw how to check on my bill. I looked, I had ordered "stand alone" service for my apple watch, which I was being charged for but, no, it didn't work when I was away from my phone. I see I, two years later have been making payments for the phone I did not need and the iPad I did not need and the watch I did not need and I gave away. All of these I was told were free when I signed up with T-Mobile. I called and complained and was told I would get a discount on my bill. Probably 4 months later my bill is the same as it was before. That included payments on my new phone, watch and iPad. I would never make payments on anything, even if I did want new devices, which I did not. Do not use this company, if you don't want to screwed. They are liars and don't fix it after taking the problem to customer service, if there was an error, which it wasn't, it was just a scam. I can't believe these people are still in business. Obviously, I am not the only one scammed, looking at the other reviews.

I had a negative experience with the tall, distinguished bald gentleman in the Palm City store, as…read moredid the older lady before me. She got a notice on her phone and asked if he could explain it to her. He read the message and instead of simply telling her, he had to shame her by saying something like, well, it says it right here, doesn't it? His tone of voice clearly implicated 'can't you read?' When she asked more questions he finally gave her a full explanation but in an impatient and condescending way. He did the same to me. I was there to ask him to transfer the data to the new/used phone I purchased from Verizon online. I attempted to do the transfer myself, followed the instructions carefully, and then, after hours of watching the circle of death, realized something went wrong. He told me he could do it but it would cost $40. I was shocked because the techs at Verizon stores in the past always did simple fixes on their phones for free, good customer service. He said if he did that, he wouldn't make any money, and suggested I trade in my old phone and get a brand new one instead. He said never buy a used phone, even from Verizon. And then suggested I go on YouTube to figure it out, like duh. That being said, I will never enter the Palm City store again. Being friendly costs nothing, but treating people the way he treated both of us tells a story I want nothing to do with. I've been a Verizon customer for 12 years. I need a phone now because I am traveling soon, but when I return I will be looking for a new provider.
