I was getting nowhere on a reasonable price, as most were quoting 285-300. I finally gave up and had set an appt with iTech, as they didn't have the screen in stock I was forced to wait a week, and they told me very specifically they would have it Wednesday so I had arranged for my wife to be there Thursday morning. When calling that morning to confirm, I was then told maybe they'd have it later that day, and they wanted me to wait longer. The problem was that I had already started porting all my numbers and upgrading phones over to T mobile, and I had some time set aside later in the day on Thursday to complete everything, but I needed my wife's phone to not have a cracked front screen. So I call Sam at A1 Mobile Solutions, and he tells me he has it in stock, and my wife can be there in 30mins. Perfect! As she was already up that way, which is why I had scheduled everything the way I had. I assumed this would still cause a delay in our schedule, but Sam got the job done much faster than I was quoted everywhere else (1-2 hrs) and only took him 15-20 minutes, and for a bit less $ than everyone else too! My wife and him also hit it off having a conversation about homeschooling, as he was just recently starting to consider it, and we all felt like this was serendipity. Half the reason I'm writing this review is for personal reference, so if I ever need a screen repaired again I'll be able to easily find Sam through my review history. Anyway he's a great guy and great at what he does and I recommend him

Never in my life have I had such a awful experience and customer service than here at this place…read moreby a man named Sam . While I was there I witnessed him con and completely hustle an elderly gentleman into getting a new phone getting a case and upgrading his plan i felt bad for this old man who just kept agreeing with all the bs lies this guy convinced him that he absolutely needed then the guy got to me and I tell him I just need a sim card and that's it He replies and says "Oh that is nothing it will be $10 dollars" I said " ok great" he says give me a minute and continues assisting or in my opinion swindling the older gentleman anyways its none of my business so I'm not concerned about this. So he finally comes back to me I tell him I need the sim card for my phone that connects me with the old network he gets on the phone with boost and says he needs to set it up which I already know and understand . The guy is still dealing with the other older gentleman also on the phone setting his stuff up with boost also and another customer comes in which he immediately tried to get her to upgrade her phone and switch her number and upgrade her plan from 35 to 50 for a different phone with 3 cameras blah blah blah I wish I didn't stay to witness this guy taking complete advantage of these clueless people but I wanted my sim card switched back so I had to stay and endure all this insanity. I walk next door to get a drink come back and the guy Sam says to me while talking to two other people and on a phone call "you cannot do this switch with the sim cards immediately you must wait a month so then after 1 month after the switch you can begin the paying daily plan so I nod my head and I said i understand go ahead and that I just want to be on a sim card from the old network. (I came in this place to get a sim card which was about $10 bucks ) and pretty much knew what I had to afford it the guy Sam tells the person he's on the phone with from Boost that I agreed to everything and signs me up for an addition month of unlimited everything plan which is $50 on the new/old sim so SMH long story short to get to the point the guy then tells me it will be $75 dollars after he complains outloud making sure I hear him how "he will never call boost again to switch a network sim card it's too difficult and not worth his time and he has never had to do this before and he never will again . (Like I'm supposed to feel bad or sympathize with him for BEING ON A PHONE CALL FOR SO LONG ) WOW ! such hard labor !!! So Now He tells me to pay $75 dollars I asked him " HOW? You told me a sim card was just $10 " now he tries lying to me and saying its $25 dollars for the sim card and and extra $50 for the new month of service that i never agreed to . We argue and he says or should I say yells "FINE" YOU PAY $60 NOW and you leave " I did not want to argue anymore with this con artist so I just said fine and tried to pay which both of my cards were declined because I didn't have that much at the moment in my card so he says " "Declined! , Declined! Let's go I haven't got all day for this " then I tell him I'd have to go home to get the rest of the money so he takes my phone (which I'm pretty sure is completely illegal ) and tells the other employee that when I come back and pay the $60 I can have my phone back. Now I'm new to west palm beach and unfamiliar with this area I cannot use my GPS google maps now to get home and back nor can I call my wife to see if she can bring the rest of the money. Thankfully I find my way home , get the money find my way back now this unbelievable employee Sam in no longer there anymore so i pay the other employee that is now there the $60 dollars that I never intended on spending to get my phone back . How much more crooked can a place be or get . I'm still in shock that this actually happened and I'm sitting here writing about it so I can warn the yelpers and review readers in boynton beach and lake worth area out there of the nightmare this place was and is . I came in dressed casually -- sweatpants, a loose T-shirt, an old cap, and worn shoes. Neither employee greeted me when I entered. After waiting a moment, I approached one of them. She stayed seated the entire time, didn't smile, didn't offer me a seat, and answered every question with a flat "no." As I was walking out, another customer walked in -- better dressed than me -- and suddenly the other employee jumped up right away to greet and assist her. What they didn't realize is that I was essentially mystery shopping. My appearance shouldn't determine the level of service I receive. Unfortunately, it felt like it did here.
