I popped in because the parking lot was mostly empty. It wasn't particularly busy in the cafe either. There were two small groups ahead of me in line. I order my food and black iced coffee to go. I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Even though you're one of only a few people in the drink area. I'm not going to change my review score. But these experiences definitely affect how often I visit.

Parishes' had very good flavor and good texture. I also ordered a jerk chicken wrap. The chicken was cut into small bite size pieces and served in a thin wrap with shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers cheese and dressing. The wrap worked fairly well as a whole, but it could have been served by any number of types of restaurants. Meaning, that I didn't really pick up much of Jerk or Jamaican flavor as it was served. Maybe because there was a good bit of lettuce and I'm usually eating jerk chicken off the bone. You could have told me it was a chicken Caesar Wrap and I would have believed it. Again, it was good. Just not quite what I expected. The eatery was cool, well decorated and had a friendly vibe. A few regulars came and went while I was there and the crew had a good rapport with them. The wrap itself, however, fell a little flat for me--the flavors were milder than I expected, and I was hoping for more of that bold, spicy jerk kick. That said, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion size was generous. Looking at photos of the restaurant, the space has a stylish, artisan vibe that I'd love to experience in person. While this dish didn't wow me, I'm open to giving them another try in-house--sometimes ambiance and fresh-off-the-grill food make all the difference.

Their menu is large with salads, soups, enchiladas, tacos, burritos and more. My friend got an order of three tacos off their specials menu. They featured jack cheese, skirted steak, guacamole with corn and cilantro. I got two pork belly tacos with red onion and cilantro. These tacos are super fresh, flavorful and filling! Granted my friend's order was a lot more filling, I was also happy with my smaller portion. I appreciate them, since they are primarily a take out spot, they still served us in proper dishware, none of that disposable nonsense. We also received complimentary chips and salsa. The only complaint I have is that their drink machine was down. They have some very tasty Mexican drinks for sale, but they are very sweet. At Salsas 4 Taqueria I was very pleased with their service and their very fresh assortment of tacos. I will be back to try more.

They use quality products. They give you large portions. The staff is nice. I would therefore overall give them 3 out of 5 stars.
