However, we thought we'd at least do something special for the original day we were to get married. We decided to get all dressed up and go out for a fancy dinner. SO I thought, why not get my hair done. I showed the hair stylist my picture of the dress I planned to wear and she immediately came up with a hair style that would be perfect for this dress. She took care to do soft beautiful curls that framed my face. They stayed intact throughout the night and into the next day, without using any weighted hair spray (she did use a spray but it was light and didn't make my hair EVER feel cakey which is the usual outcome for me with hair spray). Not to mention, she was so incredibly sweet the entire time and very very safe. I was VERY impressed with the hair to the point I even bought a curling iron for myself the next day to attempt to recreate the look, but I definitely know for any professional event, I'll be coming back!!

We've all had plenty of blowout experiences and to be honest, this was one of the worst. The place itself was fine, but the staff was not friendly. They ran late and were not super communicative. We didn't get a look book until we asked for one and then when we did, the blowouts were far from what we requested. There was one bathroom in the place and as others have shared, it was not the cleanest either. If you're desperate for a blowout, it's fine, but I definitely would not rush back.

Because of this, I didn't even get to my car until about 5:10 PM and ended up arriving late to my event. That completely defeats the purpose of booking a blowout in advance. To be fair, my hair itself turned out fine. But the overall experience was stressful and poorly managed. A delay of this length for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable, especially at a $75 price point, and being charged full price under these circumstances felt unreasonable. If you're on a tight schedule, I would be cautious booking here.

But today I have found a new place that has just welcomed me in as part of the family. The staff is so nice and you just feel so comfortable. It's not the most fancy of places but it has character and I choose quality over quantity every time! I have very curly hair, Helen cut and blowdried my hair with extreme precision and care! I called around and found Posh Dolls Glam. Even though it was last minute, Nephatari agreed to do my hair.
