We love this place. They make it fun, even while you wait with a great fire pit, bag toss game and ping pong. And it's a good thing because you ALWAYS have to wait. Even if you order take-out, you can expect an hour wait during peak times. The outdoor seating is terrific and takes advantage of the great Cape weather. Fun bar and great drinks. We always order the short-rib pizza and the farm pizza. Any pizza can be made gluten-free and it's a decent tasting crust. They have great wings and a goat cheese veggie dip for appetizers. Altogether a family favorite.....but be ready for the wait. read more

All food is great really, and nice selection too. Service is really nice. Cool decour. Been there twice, both times equally good. Would recommend caesar salad, mama love pasta, and farm egg pizza. Has nice outdoor seating, although it has been raining. Also has ping pong table, fire pit, and bean bag game. As you will see from my review history, I rarely review places. Definitely one of my favorite spots for pizza on the cape. They have a nice menu with a variety of options, but the best option is the pizza (flatbread). The service has always been exceptional and they layout (both inside and outside) are ideal, including a cool bar area. read more

This pizza place is pretty revolutionary for O-ville. In the old days, the only open fire we could drink by was at the pond, the only ping pong tables available in friends' basements. Enter Crisp, a revitalization of pizza in the heart of Cotacheset. Where the fading glory of Sweet Tomatoes once stood, we now have a real contender in the upscale pizza market. I've been especially enjoying the ambience at the bar area, which is always lively but never so crowded to prevent anyone from slipping in a beer before dinner. Our server, Jay, had a great disposition and was very helpful in our wine & food decisions. One thing I dislike about certain servers is what I consider to be a wrong answer to the "What's good/what do you like?" question; i.e. "everything's good" or "I like X (most expensive item on the menu)" Jay is not one of these servers, and offered real substance to our choices. The buffalo chicken meatballs are a unique item, and the garlic knots are as expected. Many of my friends have thoroughly enjoyed the pasta. As for the pizza itself, I'm going to have to give a few more tries before passing ultimate judgment. My girlfriend and I made our own in their first month of operations, a duck bacon-gruyere-poblano-shallot flatbread. What happened? Not sure, for that is a formidable combination, but I honestly couldn't taste any one of the ingredients! Perhaps the wine overpowered them. Ih my god, I never want to eat anywhere else. DELICIOUS! The food is fantastic! Organic, locally grown was all I had to hear, so, so good! We both got the chicken wraps- avocado, spinich, bacon! I have been a customer for years and brought my son in tonight for his first Crisp experience. He was reluctant to try the pizza because he is not a wood fired pizza fan - he was absolutely blown away by the scallop and bacon pizza! He is also not a fan of S'mores but he agreed to try the skillet dessert - he cannot stop talking about it! Small, but nice place. Called ahead and ordered two chicken parms and a meatball sub. Said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Went to pick it up and never had the order. Odd? Waited about 10 minutes, and grabbed a beer. With that said, good bar. Nice people. The meatball sandwich was really delicious, chicken parm good. Needed more sauce! Place is pricey. I really liked this place - the flatbreads (pizzas) are really good. We had the duck bacon and the farm egg. Started with a salad and some drinks. The pizza is a big pricey, but honestly, not more than you're going to pay in a city. Couple things knocked this from a five to a four. First, the parking situation is less than ideal - only eight-nine spots out front. There's a huge lot across the street, but the signs say that it's for Wimpy's/the other local place only, so we drove around until we saw a public lot down the street. We were seated right away at the window (since we were two), but our waitress was less than attentive - she was in and out every thirty to forty-five minutes; we specifically asked for a box and check and the same time, because we were worried we wouldn't see her again. read more

This place would absolutely be 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that there's often a 2 hour wait and they don't take reservations. I really wanted to like this place but I was so extremely disappointed that I was compelled to leave a review on this site. The pizza? I had the "New Biege" (linguiça & poblano peppers). There were exactly 6 razor thin slices of poblano peppers on top & barely detectable linguiça underneath the cheese. Pair those insanely skimpy toppings with their pizza's thin crust, I'm at a loss how they can charge $18 for it other than straight out robbery. My wife's tiny $9 arugula salad ("The Rocket") further supported my feelings of being fleeced by this place. There's at least 6 places for pizza just over in Hyannis that clobber Crisp in both quality & value. One and done for me with this place. read more

The atmosphere and pizza is great! However the wait is long but they are very good at letting you know that a wait is to be expected. They let you know what number you are on the list and how long you have been waiting with an online service that you can see from your phone! This allows you to maybe walk the town of Osterville or if your close enough to your home like I was, you can walk back to your house and chill until your table is ready! I would recommend going earlier to put a name down. The two times I went it was about an hour long wait, but worth it for the pizza and fast service! :) read more

The food isn't bad, but its nothing spectacular. Its especially not worth it when you factor in the wait time at the restaurant (since they don't take reservations and the sometimes 'vocal' employees). I'd seriously be happier ordering pizza from dominos.... and thats saying something. read more

Been to Crisp on 2 different occasions both with the same review: great food, great atmosphere, great place!! Our first time visiting I tried the Mama Love (pasta and meatballs), could ask for anything better it was exactly as described with an excellent portion size. My fiancé tried the Red Bliss flatbread, she raved about it so of course I had to try a slice....or two! Perfect combinations of toppings!! We were however a little disappointed that they didn't have any of the blueberry pomegranate cobbler left so we tried the brownie sundae. Holy shit, it was awesome....GIANT brownie topped with caramel and a scoop of ice cream! Our second trip we decided to split a flatbread and try some of the apps. Buffalo chicken meatballs very flavorful and a good sharing size. The short rib flatbread had an incredible combination of flavors!! We saved some room to attempt the blueberry pomegranate cobbler.....not to miss!! Of course it will have you leaving with a shade of black lips from the fresh blueberries! The atmosphere is upbeat, oldies tunes playing in the background, limited table seating inside but open to many other options including bar, pizza bar, and high top window seating. I ordered the "Daily Charcuterie"- (worded as so) artisanal dried and cured meats, local cheeses, marinated olives, fresh baked bread. What I got was a plate of cheese, No Meat, no "Dried & Cured Meats" I asked the waiter/ bartender and he said they were out of the meats. Then, the other waitress/bartender offered the people sitting next to me a special that included prosciutto. Prosciutto is cured meat which they were out of 5 min. ago. All I ask is that if you advertise a meal with meats paired with cheese then that's what you should deliver. It was advertise on the menu, & on the huge board with only the two specials and once again at the entrance. Oh, the manager explained to me that there was bacon in the pate' even if you couldn't see or taste it. Also, don't lie to your customers. read more

We went to crisp tonight (myself, sister, and friend). We were told it would be a 20 min wait. We sat in a corner by the bar waiting. 30 min in my sister asked the desk how much longer we would be waiting. Her response was "you are 20 min into your 40 min wait." We felt committed at that point so continued to wait. At the 40 min mark she went up and was told "sorry we have 2 people ahead of you". Finally after an hour we were tired and hungry. My sister went up a final time. The girls response was "why don't you just get something at the bar". There was no seat in site. We at this point decides to leave. While walking out I voiced my disappointment that we were leaving after having to wait far longer than informed. The boy behind the desk sarcastically responded "40 min". My sister pulled up here text confirmation showing we had waited over an hour. The boy argued back so she asked for the manager. At the first the boy said "he didn't know where he was". My sister said she would wait. Eventually the manager came over, ultimately siding with his staff. The boy continued to make faces at my sister behind his managers back. My sister pointed this out to the manager who clearly was not too concerned. Overall a horrible experience. read more

Most overrated place I have ever seen. The atmosphere is cool I won't argue that, but the pizza is awful. It's a place for yuppies and wanna-be hipsters to go who know nothing about food, and they can post bogus reviews and say this place is so great while they play with each other's corn holes and make s'mores. First off this is not pizza, it's flat bread, calling it pizza is an insult to pizza and anyone who enjoys pizza. Basically this is like burnt yet soggy saltine crackers with fancy toppings at fairly high prices. The bitterly burnt crust destroys your pallet to the point you can't even enjoy the tasty fancy toppings you pay a premium for and leaves your hands looking like your some kind of chimney sweep. They always blame the flour for this issue. It's like a ball player who strikes out and blames the bat. Ever think it might be the incompetence of the people cooking? Since the yuppies affirm to them that the pizza is great, they see no need to change or improve it. So there is no improvement coming in the future. Worst of all they name the place crisp and the pizza isn't crispy, it's soggy and sloppy which is hard to imagine being possible since it's burnt so badly but they somehow pull it off. Whatever you do don't dare get it to go, you'd probably enjoy eating the box better than the pie. There is a disturbing trend in new age American pizza that the toppings are what matters most, a complete fallacy. It's about the crust, if that's not great just forget everything else on top. So you can keep your duck bacon on burnt soggy saltines and I will go to Regina for some actual pizza. read more
