The space is very cozy and geared towards takeout, like stepping into a friend's kitchen. There is patio seating outside on the covered porch. I stopped by The Nest for a lunch sandwich very recently. I got The Smoke Stack ($15 plus tax), which was highly recommended by another customer. The sandwich was all set in about 5 minutes. The Smoke Stack had tender lean Wagyu pastrami, cole slaw, & whole grain mustard on toasted chewy ciabatta bread. I think the girls just need training (and some growing up to do - they weren't unpleasant, just... immature). All in all this place is beautiful, their offerings are wonderful and for the most part, the staff is great. Now that I'm here from my beloved Hudson (ok, I'm still mourning my Hudson town and former home), I expect to make Amie one of my favorite stops. OH, did I mention their coffee is also great? He was talking with two local girls. . I think the owner. He was very unfriendly and rude to me. Because I asked if the deli was open. He acted like he did not hear me. While looking straight at me. Then said the deli was closed. Funny the two cute young girls were served. Very uncomfortable and degrading as I am overweight. I work hard and am very considerate of others. I am non judgemental. I am too embarrassed and angry to give the owner one more cent. I already work 60 hours a week as a nurse. I am never rude or degrading. I will not be back. I was polite, apologized and left.
