Stoked (get it - wood fired?) to find this outpost of Crisp open for July 4th weekend! To understand the full scale of Crisp's greatness, peep the Yelp listing for the full-service restaurant located just down Main. Here, though, is where they're looking to off-shoot the crazy takeout biz Crisp gets, so the seated customers at the resto aren't waiting a millennium to feast. As such, the menu is very similar, with all the pizzas, sandwiches and salads avail from the mothership made fresh for either a seated snack in-house (a few high tops pepper the waiting area) or a meal on the run. Want a good reason to eat in? Maine Root soda fountain with free refills. A few local brews are on tap, as well, but don't expect the full bar. You'll even find the pricing a bit different here: most sandwiches are a buck or two less. Buyer beware: it's because everything's a la carte. If you want those fries, you'll have to order a side. Her duck bacon pizza ($18) is a long-standing favorite, and the new oven nailed the signature crispy crust. My Cubano ($10) is hearty, to say the least, but it's spongey bread proved under pressed, a bit gloppy on the Cuban dressing - dijonnaise? - and the thick-cut pork loin had dried out. I'd a far superior version at the other spot, so perhaps this is opening jitters. Stellar pizza, average sandwich, fast, friendly, familar. Fancy's might be getting a run for their midday money, and once Crisp Too is well-oiled, this former JJ's spot will be on fire!

After a 2hr wait and politely checking on my order 3 times. Cold microwave pizza . This place has gone down hill fast

We've been coming to the Cape yearly for 30+ years and half from the land of amazing pies are New Haven, and this pizza was fanfreakingtastic. Cheese, blueberry hot honey prosciutto, and a ricotta pesto white kept our horde of 5 satiated and smiling. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Alcoholic drinks are canned, and 2 in our party had milkshakes which they enjoyed. They have clean & cute bathrooms, baskets of cars on the tables for your kiddos, and allllll the Trader Joe's pizza spice toppings you could want.

Since we were t going home after dining, we didn't want leftovers, so the owner helped guide us to their "small" 12" pizza. It was perfect and we each had four slices. When we arrived all of the booths were full, so we sat at a high top. When our pizza was ready, the owner asked if we'd like to move to a booth, even though it was their largest booth and we were just a party of two. As we were leaving she said, "enjoy the show". Not only was the broccoli and mushroom pizza delicious, but the attention of the owner to her customers ensured that I will return! On my next trip, I might enjoy one of their adult beverages, and order a large so I can enjoy leftovers!

The reason I am writing is because I actually got food poisoning which isn't surprising if they treat the food in any way similar to how they treat their customers. Its a shame that such a historically good place can go down to this point, but honestly they would have to completely revamp this location, clearly the managers here are incompetent.

It was minutes until I could get up & go get my pizza. The check out girl had sold my pizza to someone else because I hadn't responded when she called out that my pizza was ready. This was wrong but not my complaint about pizza Regina. I went back this week, ordered a pizza & asked the cashier to hold onto it & not sell it because I was going to run down to return something at Dick's. She said, snottily, "we don't do that". I said "it was done to me & it happens, please just hold it til I get back". She argued with me that "it never happens". Dif girl. I said to her, "do you think I could make it up out of the blue? It happened". She said, "no it didn't". I said, "what happened to the customer is always right? All you have to say to me is 'don't worry I'll make sure it won't happen today'". She was snide, condescending & just plain mean. I came back for the pizza & she obviously told the other 3 workers because she turned back to the guy already grabbing my pizza, like he knew me, & rolled her eyes at him. All 3 guys laughed at me, to my face. What is wrong with people? My never eating there again will have no impact on their business, but I wish it would. Where is common decency.
