Reservations don't seem to matter and when they double-book, they cancel and the owner doesn't have time to talk to us - but he suggested that maybe we want to sit with the guests that they have coming in our spot, that they confirmed. My husband and I love crisp! Bar pizza has always been a favorite of ours. I grew up on cape cod pizza and I will admit, Crisp blows Cape Cod Pizza away! The food is good, but it is not worth the hassle. We will be going elsewhere, anywhere else to be specific. They should just be honest about how long a pick up is going to take. I could have done other things instead of standing around waiting to pick up my easy order. The service leaves much to be desired. I should've gotten the name of the person working behind the counter. After being given one time of about 15 minutes a good customer service move is to take 1015% off of the bill or throw in a free salad or something to make sure your customer leaves happy. But I was not given that. Instead, I was treated with rudeness and given no reason for the delay, and will not be returning. I think there's a reason why I see one star. The service is horrendous. I called to order a pizza and salad prior to leaving Boston at 5:30p. I was told one hour. I arrived at 6:30p, the parking lot was packed and there were a good number of people hanging around waiting. The girl at the register found my order however couldn't find my food. She then came back to tell me that my pizza would be going in soon. I told her kindly to cancel my order and I walked out. There were so many people running around in the back or just standing around, it was a bit concerning for the lack of social/physical distancing. Also as it was very crowded and hot in the kitchen many of the staff were not wearing their masks. Probably, the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had ! We waited 1over 90 minutes for 2 pizzas at the outside bar. When we ordered the pizzas there was no mention of a king wait for the food. I had my grandchildren with me and they were impatient. I followed up with the bar after an hour and they said the kitchen was backed up. So I waited about 20 minutes and they told me the kitchen was backed up 2 hours for pizza. After another 20 minutes I went inside and was told to calm down. We also ordered other food items that never showed up. When the pizza finally arrived 1.50 minutes after we ordered it, they gave us the bill and asked us to leave. Of course, the bill included items we never received. They did take the two pieces off the bill, and eventually took off the items off the bill that we never received. However, they made us feel like we were in the wrong, and we were being unreasonable. They really need to get their act together. We ordered from them a few times before the apocalypse, and let's just say, the wait times quoted over the phone were typically short by 15 to 30 mins. We gave them the benefit of the doubt because it's a new establishment and the food is decent. First order after the apocalypse, they quoted me 45 minutes over the phone. I easily waited another 45 mins in the parking lot. They had some poor kid wandering the parking lot with a clipboard, dealing with frustrated customers and trying to associated vehicles to phone orders. Total chaos. I feel bad for the young kids they have working the counter. Second order after the apocalypse, they quoted me an hour. This time, I called ahead to make sure the order was ready. They couldn't find any record of my order. I told them not to bother filling it. Decided to give them one third chance. Ordered closer to 5pm, thinking we might beat the dinner rush. Was quoted 45 mins. Had to hit the gas station anyway, so the timing was perfect. Arrive at the parking lot about an hour after placing the order. Total chaos. Had to wait 20 mins in line just to get to the counter. Upon giving my name, was told order would take another 45 mins. Told them not to bother filling it, again. Not sure what to think yet, the roast beef wrap was the worst thing I have eaten in a long time but my GF said her chicken caesar wrap was great. It appears that the issues noted in other reviews about online ordering have apparently not been corrected as ours did not show up on their system. While watching the front staff have to re-enter our order we observed that same situation occur with multiple other costumers who had placed online orders. First Friday they were open I placed an order and it took two hours for delivery but the food was AMAZING. A little disappointed by the delivery but understood as it was their first week open. When I got the pizza, the person had not taken my credit card, I gave the driver my number to call me so I could give it to someone, I get the pizza inside it should have been a cheese pizza a pepperoni pizza a hamburger pizza a steak and cheese and an order of steak and cheese egg rolls. Instead I got a pepperoni and hamburger pizza a cheese pizza a steak and cheese, and an order of steak and cheese egg rolls. So the wrong pizza and no extra free pizza as I was told. I called and the girl that answered was very indifferent and said sorry she would tell a manager and hung up. Another guy called back for my credit card information which is fine he seemed to care. But everything was so completely wrong. It was super disappointing especially pay $46. This was the second time with over two hours for delivery which is fine I planned into that this time but it was very disappointed to get the completely wrong order, it was semi warm as it was sent out for delivery for the second time. I wrote them a private message on Facebook, 3 days have gone by and the only contact they have made to me was "I will send this to the GM, and I am sorry for the frustration." Went in and it is a cute atmosphere. There is Montillo's dessert there that looked pretty. I ordered a Greek salad that had soft tomatoes and brown lettuce. They were out of Greek dressing but otherwise it would have been fine. My husband got a pizza and he thought it was fine but a little well done. The French fries were good. The service was a bit slow taking about 15 minutes to get our food while we ate there. I probably would give it one more try and try their sandwiches or their rotisserie chicken that they make fresh there. read more

Crisp helped us out for a last minute "drive by" team dinner for the HS varsity hockey team! They were so easy to work with and Hannah (manager)was helpful and pleasant! We placed the order a day prior and they were able to accommodate 30+ pizzas for pick up. All the boys said the pizza was delicious and would all be ordering from them in the future! A great place for family dinner or to feed a large gathering, we definitely recommend Crisp and Medfield HS Hockey will be using them in the future for team dinners, hopefully in house in the future!! read more

They close at 6 on Sunday.... WHY? What food establishment closes at 6? We got there at 542 and they wouldn't take our order because they were getting ready to close. Guess they don't like making money, I mean close at 6 be out the door at 615 or something, that's part of the business of food and the way you make money. I hope this place doesn't last. The girls working there were pretty rude and just stared at me like morons, like I was supposed to know they don't take orders 20 minutes before closing. Doubt I'll ever try this place, will not recommend it to anyone, you should go to GiGis in the Walpole mall, way better, and they don't charge you a dollar to burn the crust a little bit, wtf is that, the ovens already on and running, but hopefully this place is like the red cherry before it and collapses because they don't care about their customers. Don't order online. It took my order, plus a required tip and promised me a pickup time. My order was not ready at the promised time, plus it took another 15 minutes to receive it. Meanwhile I watched dozens of people come in to pickup their orders while I waited and none of their orders were delayed. Excellent addition to Walpole center! In a town that is overloaded with pizza joints, Crisp is unique. Their New England bar style pizza is a welcome change. On my first visit I ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza for myself, buffalo chicken pizza for my daughter and mozzarella moons. The mozzarella moons with sauce were a fine appetizer. The pizzas were loaded with toppings and delicious. These are "one size fits all" pizzas I thought we'd each need a whole pizza. Wow, was I wrong! We were both full after just a couple slices. This would've been a 5 star review but the wait was a bit much for a Thursday night (over an hour). Nevertheless, there is no doubt I'll be ordering from Crisp again soon! read more
