I was quoted 69.00 from Paulette through a text (see below screen shot). They told my husband 80.00, he wrote a check to them for 80.00. My husband had them fill in the payee information which is (see below copy of the check). We were not happy with our experience at all. I put a stop payment on the check, as this seemed like a scam as they didn't do anywhere near a complete job of cleaning only the dryer vent. When I read the reviews and the company profile, I thought it was a great, respectful, mom and pop company that would do a wonderful job and so we gave Duct Masters a try. They did not do as Paulette indicated that they would do, an inspection of the scope of work and then we could decide at no cost if we wanted them to continue to do the work. They were rude, not prepared and did not clean the dryer vent as it should've been done, only about 15% was cleaned. They also did not clean up after themselves before they left.

It's hard to get good info but people should check BBB and check datcp State of Wisconsin consumer protection. That's about all you can do because just about everybody's out to screw you one way or the other. You know unless you know somebody personally.
