While it's not super authentic Korean nor super high quality, the value of what you get for the price tag is very high. Pros: Beef belly, short ribs, thinly sliced chuck, pork belly, and the mushrooms are all great. Service is also very accommodating for the several rounds of food placed as well as switching out the grill pan for when the meat marinade burns. Also enjoy the free sauce bar that has appetizers for while we wait. Cons: Did not enjoy any of the seafood whether it be the quality of the fresh oysters or the marinade of the spicy items. Quality of the short ribs is not always consistent either (a few rounds were more fat than meat). Sesame oil is very low grade with very little flavor (can also tell by the very light color). Overall: Will definitely be back and will bring friends for what I think is the best bang for your buck KBBQ place in the Spring/Woodlands area. While some things could definitely be better, the pros definitely outweigh the cons and the place is more than good enough to keep coming back to.

It's not bad but I can tell the difference in the texture. The Yumi Milk Tea Special was interesting. It tasted like a blend of Milk Tea and Che Ba Mau, a Vietnamese dessert. There was milk tea, boba, grass jelly, read beans, and basil seeds. I liked these ingredients/toppings so I enjoyed it. Ambiance wise, we came around 3pm for a late lunch and were the only ones there. We had our kid too so it was nice to not feel like we were bothering anyone when he got a bit ancy. There was a high chair to use and the back area had chopsticks, spoons, forks, and knives to grab. The lady that took our order was very sweet and checked on us a little later to make sure everything was okay. A few other dine in notes: Since there was an order mix up, suggesting to grab a receipt. It just makes it easier to bring up the topic if there's an error and gives them the chance to fix it. Also, the number and food pictures don't line up. For example, we wanted the Shaken Beef. I can't remember what number it was on the menu but the supposed photo for it was a chicken dish. I would suggest to double check by asking and confirming what you want for the order. Overall, good but didn't feel wow to me. Lastly, there is a buy 2, get 1 free special on the drinks right now but we saw the sign for it after eating. This is a good deal especially if you're planning to buy 3 or more drinks.

But I continue to come because this is one of the very few halal options available in the area... earlier this week I ordered some food at the drive through, they had a few sides that were out so I wasn't able to order the mashed potatoes. Instead I asked the person taking my order if the red beans and rice had any pork. She said no, so I went ahead and ordered red beans and rice. Only to get home and find sausage in the red beans and rice after I had already ate half the container. As someone who eats halal, this was really disturbing, especially since I asked before I ordered. I hope the employees don't make this mistake again.

I drove back the 20 minutes it took to get there and when I asked about the Mac and cheese and they told me they were all out despite Uber saying they were in stock and me paying the extra money for it. I was about to leave when I realized they didn't even give me the sauces I'd paid for as well, and it was only until I got home the second time and sat down to finally eat that I realized they only gave me two tenders instead of the three I paid for in each box. It didn't help that the people running the truck didn't speak any English. Needless to say, I'm not ordering from here again, and I'm doing what I can to get the money back for the missing food.

I proceeded to enjoy a very strong whiskey flight (which means a lot coming from me), a seaweed salad that was a bit too crunchy or stiff, ikrua don, crab croquette and some admittedly super sticky, gummy, shrimp dumplings...like would not separate from the steamer paper sticky. While the offerings were not my cup of tea, the place is beautifully decorated and seems to fill up around dinner service so it may be worth the stop if you're in the area. Everyone was very nice and I always appreciate a spot offering jellyfish, takowasa, and takoyaki in Cypress. Next time I'll try the ramen, and hopefully report back with a new perspective, fingers crossed.
