Sadly the acia bowls use to be way better (before this location opened) than they are now (way more ice, less granola, less honey, watering down the acia). The pastel is delicious but my friend and I ordered the X-large mini coxinhas supposed to be stuffed with chicken and cheese but it only came with cheese. when we asked about it the lady attending said they only had cheese but not chicken so we cant really consider that coxinha. read more

They were really friendly and when they brought my açaí bowl to the car, they accompanied it with a savory pastel just because. I really appreciated the gesture. I stopped here because we were at sunset beach and I read the great reviews. I got the Acai bowl. The guy was really nice and there was a lot of acai. But after going to Waialua Bakery & Juice Bar, this hardly compared taste wise. The bananas weren't very ripe and they charged 50 cents for coconut and $1 for a few strawberry slices. I'd recommend the coconut but not the strawberries. It's good if you're in the area and much better than any place in Waikiki, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

This review is for the truck located at pipeline beach. Definitely order online because people waiting in the sun do not matter to them. They do have a sign to order online if you don't want to wait. I don't mind waiting but i expect my order to be taken when its my turn. When we arrived there were 2 orders in front of ours (i could see them hanging on the wheel) so we waited. I watched the lady, who i assume is the owner rip 3 orders off the online printer while we waited. After about 10 minutes we asked her if we should order online and she said to me..."there's 5 orders in front of you" then she reached over and ripped another one and said "make that 6." Deliciousness in a bowl- a must stop if you're on the North Shore. We ordered two acai bowls- one with blueberries and one with coconut and strawberries. They both come with honey, banana, and granola- super filling, cold, and refreshing - the best breakfast start we've had. Me and my boyfriend got the bananas and cinnamon, and the ground beef pastel. The bananas tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch with bananas in it. They also added cheese to it which threw me off but it actually went with the pastel really well. Of course, he asked for a bite when we got home and then demanded someone drive him back there for food! I ate a Beef Pastel, Pizza Pastel, Cheese Pastel and also a Coxinha (chicken and cheese). I share it with my wife, it was more than enough for 2 people.
