Hubby keeps picking up and forgetting to check, but we really needed more coleslaw. They also forgot bread. But a lot of hot sauce. One time, we got the 15 piece whole wings and 8 piece legs and thighs. It was plenty to feed two men and one gal with big appetites. Should be plenty for 4 people with big appetites, with leftovers. It was a Friday night and all I knew was: I cannot possibly cook another meal this week. I took out my Yelp app and literally opted for the first biz listed in my weekly recommendations and ordered takeout. We ordered their chicken tender family dinner. It comes with 12 chicken tenders, potato wedges, coleslaw, and a 2 liter for, wait for it, $18.99. Dinner for my fam for less than $20? Sold! We weren't sure what to expect and drove up to find that this spot is a little chicken shack attached to a gas station (the best places are those little holes in the wall, amirite?). Our food came piping hot in an enclosed rectangular aluminum container, which was nice as it was still piping hot when we got home. We really enjoyed the chicken and potatoes which fed my family of 3 for two nights. The coleslaw was pretty scant (we got two tiny, salad dressing sized containers of it). But, everything else was so plentiful, we didn't mind too terribly much. A great little hole in the wall serving up some delish fried chicken! And, hey...they have shawarma plate as well? Stopped in to grab something different and got the Zinger Chicken Sandwich. Being part of a BP gas station added to the intrigue. Told it was a 11-12 minute wait, and when I got it I knew why! Everything is cooked to order so it took 25 minutes to get my food so be prepared to wait or call ahead. I got there at 11:30 so there was no one there when I arrived. Fries were fine, nothing to write home about while the coleslaw was smaller than expected, but still pretty good. Creamy based and sweet, kinda like KFC which I like. They have family size deals that include biscuits and 2 liter soda, etc as well. Lots of other choices on the menu including shawarma and sandwiches, but I'll be going back for the chicken. The place is attached to a gas station on the corner of Teutonia and Good Hope so limited parking available. It is literally next to the ridiculously crappy KFC/Taco Bell which ran out of chicken the last time I went there over 2 years ago - that place is nasty. The inside is not much other than about 6 small tables and a counter facing the gas pumps so not much for ambiance. They were restocking the cooler while I was there which cut down on even more space but I was comfortable and did some work while waiting. Holy shit, how is it that the best fried chicken I've had in Wisconsin is in a hole in the wall attached to a gas station? I came here today for lunch. The cook on the chicken was perfect- crispy outside, juicy inside. The tahini sauce is delicious, and the orange sauce is also good. The potato wedges are breaded before they are fried. I know it's not healthy but I don't give a damn, it's DELICIOUS. My boss said the fries and wedges were ridiculous. He got the Philly cheesesteak and fried mushrooms. I had one of the mushrooms and the breading wasn't too thick and the cook was bang on. What the hell. This is some top shelf food at a gas station. Who would ever expect that the chicken made in a little store attached to a gas station would be some of the best in the entire city. This is fast food fried chicken. It is inside one end of Andy's gas station. The chicken was cooked fresh to order, and the price for a bucket was reasonable. They only had fries as a side late on a saturday, but they were hot and fresh. The restaurant itself is very small, and offers a few tables for eat in, though I imagine they are mostly used by customers waiting for an order. The chicken was hot and crispy when we got it home. I ordered some poutine, which was available as a side upgrade for 2$. All in, we revieved 16 pieces of chicken, 8 fresh biscuits, and 2 sides of french fries, 1 upgraded for 22$. Everything was hot and freshly made, which is awesome for any fast food place, and the meat quality was good. Everyone enjoyed their chicken and even ate up most of the fries. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean. The service was friendly and the food was good. Its right around the corner from kfc and was constantly busy with customers coming in for pick up orders. The google reviews show people in the area enjoy the food as well. For the cost and quality, this place gets 5 stars from me. Tasty chicken. Seasoned well and fried crispy. The potato wedges were fried in the same batter as the chicken so the flavors are very similar. I would recommend you all you order instead of having to wait at the restaurant. I ordered for pick up through grub hub and the estimated time for pickup was about 10mins within the time we actually got our food which wasn't too bad. The food was fresh out the fryerand hot.
