Love this little hole in the wall donut shop. The lady owner/sales person I always see is a hoot. She is a little ball of Asian energy and super nice! Ask to get some freshly made or glazed donuts and she'll come out with some crazy good fat pills that literally melt in your mouth. The glazed donuts and crullers are excellent. Light, fluffy, and chewy. And there's none of that cheap bread taste you get from a lot of donut shops. If you've had donuts, you'll know what I'm talking about. Crispy's Donuts (or just simply "DONUTS") seems to avoid that, it's all pretty excellent. I can only sort of agree with the review mentioning a lack of jelly in their jelly donuts. In my experience, it's not so much that there's not enough jelly, but rather, the jelly is usually only concentrated in one single area. There's more than enough jelly for me, just not spread out well enough within the donut. No big deal, though. Of course, the only downside is not being able to use plastic. You can walk over to the ATM in Ralph's, but that can be a hassle sometimes. I also enjoy seeing the lady that runs the place chasing off the younger employees to the back with a broom because they were slacking off, it was hilarious. I wish they made the crullers all week long, and I wish they would do one with shredded coconut on it (the same for glazed donuts -- those things need to be sold absolutely covered in shredded coconut, I would buy the hell out of them). read more

Okay I have read everyone's reviews so I had to try it out. Well u have to say that this place is AMAZING!!! Very sweet lady and helpful. The donuts are so good. I went in to buy donut for my sons birthday party at preschool and then just ordered myself one and I think I inhaled the donut!!! Lol yes very good and fresh donuts!!! Donuts are fresh looking. Always a plus. Fast dozen is I think $8.95. Sometimes I feel a bit rushed picking out my 12 donuts, because her service is so fast, but you just have to deal. These donuts are really yummy. I've only been twice, and both times did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend coming in the morning when the donuts are more fresh. The old fashioned donuts are on point. Their donuts are your perfect, dense, crispy, frosting topped donut. I honestly don't eat too many donuts, and if you're like me and don't typically enjoy the fluffy-type donuts, this place is your place. This is one of the last old school type donut shops around! The donuts here are bomb! Especially if u come early enough and they are still warm:-) it's like heaven! Really! My fav are the chocolate custard, glazed and the old fashion glazed. Apple fritters are good too. They also make mean giant size breakfast croissant.. It's super good. I would come here more often but they only take cash... I rarely carry cash. I would give them 5 starts but 4 cuz it's cash only. I try not to give my business to cash only places. Been coming to this shop for the past couple of years now. It has a mom and pop feel to it and the owners (i'm assuming) are very friendly. The donuts are pretty consistant, they have a soft, fresh taste to them. The only bad thing is that they only accept cash, i've shown up before without cash and had to use a nearby atm, not cool. Also i've noticed if you go later in the day to buy donuts, they don't taste as fresh as the ones in the morning, just my experience though. Overall donuts here are pretty bombay! I would rather eat these donuts over krispy kreme donuts anyday and I live closer to krispy kreme. read more

Really like this place. It's not some big chain like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. It's a mom and pop place with old fashioned donuts that tastes really good. And they are very reasonable. Rarely am I led astray by this app, but in the case of crappy donuts I was oh sorry "crispy" donuts. The service was horrible the kid in there was like 17 and seemed really annoyed to be there. Honestly there were about 3 types of donuts and roughly 2 or 3 of each type, so like 10 donuts in the whole place nothing resembling the pictures on here. I got two anyway based on the reviews figured they must be phenomenal considering the overall look and atmosphere; however, they have possibly the worst donuts I've ever tried in recent memory. At least they were consistent in that the donuts were on par with the service and decorum. One donut was not even fully baked and was still partially wet inside I honestly had never even seen that before. If you want good donuts definitely try somewhere else compared to a Krispy Kreme or even the Walmart bakery (which are both about 2 miles away) this place is a joke. read more
