I've driven past this Bakery Corner for years. It's right across from my gym. One day, I'm at home scrolling on instatok. Lo and behold, someone reviewed the place. The donuts looked amazing! I decided today was the day that I tried them, too. Please do not let the dated exterior (I spotted an actual public phone! Not sure if it's operational, though) or dated interior detract you, nor the hand written cash only signs. If you must, you can pay by zelle or venmo I believe. They have a small shared parking lot with Church's Chicken. It was easy to park in front of the business at 9am today. The gentleman behold the counter greeted me right away, and was very patient while I made my selections for a dozen donuts. I also decided to try their HUGE Jalapeno ham and cheese croissants. These donuts were fresh, fluffy, doughy and delicious. I tried the sugar, glazed, boston creme, maple bar, raspberry and strawberry filled donuts. Yes! They are all amazing. The croissant was also fabulous. Light, airy, flaky, buttery layers hid the jalapeno ham cheese filling in the middle. I didn't get too much jalapeno, but idc I loved the croissant anyway. I paid $29 for a dozen donuts and the two gigantic croissants. This place is old school- There were paper i. o.u's taped up beside the cash register...some had written the dates that they paid up for some items, so obviously this establishment has a loyal and trustworthy customer base and community relationship that is hard to find nowadays. I will definitely come back and perhaps pay it forward for some of those i.o.u's! read more

My wife and I have been trying croissants everywhere we travel and the Corner Bakery has the best plain butter croissants hands down! There are other places that have the dolled up ones but for a plain butter croissant, this is the place! read more

I've always had a weak spot for old fashions doughnuts. It's that crunchy texture they always have, and the way they hold up well to dunking in milk and or coffee. I picked up a couple of old fashions here, a chocolate and a plain. I ate them on the spot or in my car with my Americano I picked up down the road. This donut shop is so underrated! I stopped by on the way home and there was so much variety! The donuts tasted fresh and they were so affordable! I had to turn around and come back in to grab another box to bring to work tomorrow because you can get half a dozen for just under $8! The same box would be double the price at Dunkin! The doughnuts here are really yummy. This place has been here for years. I love their boston cremes and maple bars!! Its a cute little shop next to popeyes on third and moss st. Cant miss it!! I wouldn't call it a bakery. It's a tiny donut shop w/ no seating that happens to have 1 kind of brownie and some muffins. I'm not a donut fan at all. I crave them maybe twice a year, and when I crave them, they better be abso-fricken-lutely delicious. I can't say these were. They seemed bigger than your average donut, but they weren't decadent like I wanted them to be. I always pass by this place but finally tried it for the first time today, mostly because it was midnight and this place is 24 hours. Hey, when you need a donut, go get your donut fix here. Just bring cash. The donut options were pretty standard; nothing fancy or insanely innovative was expected from the simple exterior. The selection, while fulfilling the basic requirements could have stretched just a bit further. I fancy French crullers but unfortunately, there were none to be had. There also weren't any maple bars, which unluckily are my boyfriend's favorite. Maybe the selection was a little sparse due to the late hour but regardless, we were satisfied with what we left with. They were all very fluffy and light. The batter wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and the icing wasn't skimped on. Nothing came off as stale or tough and they were all visually appealing to the eye and stimulating to the appetite. Overall, very good donuts. They were much better than some that I've had from donut chains like Yum Yums. I was really on the fence about the rating. I don't feel like it was a 5 star donut experience but I do feel like it was a really solid one. I wish there was a 4.5 option. I will return and maybe update my rating. read more

I have been coming to this place since I can barely remember! (Anyone remember the old K-Mart across the street and the buffet place?!) This is hands down my most favorite donut shop. It is on the corner of Moss and Third Avenue, so you can't miss it. It is also 24 hours, so that's a definite plus for me. Only down side, they only accept cash. Make sure you have a few bucks on you or hit the ATM before making a trip here. Their donuts are just amazing! My personal favorite is their Maple Bar, but they make a damn good Old Fashioned and Boston Creme.
