No bueno. The owner was very rude and his worker was very unprofessional. My son got into a car accident and Cropper's towing was picking up our car from the accident. The tow truck driver was very rude and when I tried talking to him about the damaged car he immediately told me he did not care about my car. I would not recommend using this company. read more

I had the most exceptional experience today with Cropper's. After a malfunction with my auto lock on my car, I closed my back car door after loading my bags in the car after work and my key was in my purse. After I shut the door, the car automatically locked and I was locked out. I was pressed for time because I work on a secure part of base and the visitor center closes at 5:30 & they are NOT flexible to stay late, even in an "emergency." I tried the roadside assistance with my car manufacture and insurance company to no avail. I tried to enable to remote unlock on my car and was told by the manufacturer that service was discontinued on my year car, 2016. I called 5 local tow companies, and none could arrive before 5:30. At this point, the clock was ticking. I got ahold of the owner of Cropper's at 5:09 and he made it with about 6 minutes to spare. He went through the gauntlet at the visitor center and the security gate, literally having to provide every piece of his identity and open every compartment of his truck at the gate to be searched. He drove me back on base because the security gate for walking on had shut off the badge swipe since it was "after hours." He literally said he has gotten on to the FBI academy easier than my little part. After all of this - I asked him how much I owed and he said NOTHING. He said "my wife and I own this company and believe that sometimes you just had to give one back from time to time." He then said he hopes I have a better day. Are you kidding me? What an incredibly nice man. I insisted on paying, but he refused to take payment and instead gave me two of his cards. I saved this number to my phone and will ONLY ever use them in the future. I will pay this kind act forward and leave this review on every app and social media platform that he / Cropper's Towing and Tire's Inc has a presence. The world needs more kindness. He could have easily charged me $200 or more, especially for the hassle at the checkpoints. What a stand up man and company! This made my day for sure!!!! Thank you for your kindness! read more

Called at 9 pm to inquire about unlocking my daughters car- she locked our only set of keys inside :( Nice gentleman answered and I explained it could wait until the morning. Called the next morning and he arrived exactly when he said he would. Even with coming on the Marine Corps base, he came within 45 mins as promised. Punctual, friendly and professional. I live in WIlliamstown, and got home from work at 11:30pm. I get up at 8am and find out my truck was towed! I called PW police and Croppers had it. When we go down to get it there is the WARNING notice given by the HOA STILL under the windshield! I NEVER had the chance to get it inspected. Now tell me, WHO is OPEN at MIDNIGHT for an inspection?!?! If there is someone, I would have gone. I NEVER had the chance to remedy the situation BEFORE it was towed! I NEVER received a warning. I bet Croppers wrote the warning THEN towed it! Bunch of thieves and liars. read more

I've been using Croppers for years for towing & tires, but the service I received yesterday really blew me away. Went to get 2 tires put on & was more than satisfied when the work was done. The mechanics are super friendly & helpful. There was another customer in front of me, but I was helped first because the mechanic noticed that I had a toddler & a sleeping baby in the car. He offered my toddler a lollipop & told me I could keep the car on with the air conditioning so the baby could continue to sleep while he worked. He even lowered the price originally quoted to us by $10. Tires were put on & we were off in less than 15 minutes. Great prices, no-nonsense repairs; good, hard working, honest people. I'm more than happy to support this local business & will continue to do so for all my car related needs. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years. Jason is always so helpful and friendly and always remembers our family. We just bought a full set of tires before a road trip and ran over a nail and put a whole in our new tires on the journey! Well, if I could give them a zero star I would, this company has the worst of the worst customer services, you are dealing with people who all act like demon possessed, very rude, soulless. They towed my car for a suspsended driver's license, when I finally get my license back they asked for my insurance card which I did not have at the moment, I told them I could give them Geico number for them to verify, they did not want it, nor anything on my phone (GEICO app) they only wanted me to bring the paper proof of insurance, and meanwhile enveryday that passed by I was charged a restocking fee of $60. read more

If u think the Town of Dumfries police were out of control, u haven't seen anything. To give u a idea of environment, police are regularly called due to communication and customer service issues. Liens on towed vehicles are filed immediately, worst of all the place is a fire hazard. Despite all of this the William Town hoa still has a relationship with this company. There is alot of corruption going on with this relationship , example 24 hr towing, no grace time and for profit parking lot informants. This is the third time I visited them for tire change or repair on different cars. The owner is a retired Marine who serve with pride and integrity. Jason and his co worker gave me options how to replace my worn out tires. In the end I choose to change both front tires to 3/4 used ones. Jason at Cropper's has earned my undying gratitude! I was driving from Orlando to DC today when my tire started wobbling like crazy. When you're driving 70mph up route 95 that can be a truly scary experience. Luckily, I pulled off the exit at Dumfries and saw a collision repair place who identified the problem with the tire and recommended Cropper's. Everyone there was extremely nice and professional considering how frazzled I was. I owe a big debt especially to Jason. He gave me several options to replace the tire, all of them at a reasonable price, had the tire fixed and had me back on the road inside of 20 minutes! He even gave me a cold bottle of water!
