They assigned Premier Services, Inc whose 1st appointment window was over a week away. The vendor was horrible from the beginning. That review will come separate but the manner in which FAHW listened to this was on deaf ears. The 1st repair they said was a thermometer. Which we waited two weeks for and that held a temp for 24hours. Two more appointments and six weeks later FAHW decided a replacement was needed. After losing two batches of food and not having a refrigerator for 2 months FAHW then deducted all the parts Premier Services, Inc allegedly purchased against my claim. I left messages via phone and the chat for supervisor to call me back. Their response was the case is closed. They selected the incompetent vendor and will not stand behind it.That is not a trusted warranty providor. Buyer Beware.

    My wife and I moved into a home on the first of the month. We've had 7 plumbers, paid $500 in…read moreservice fees, and 2 of 4 problems have been resolved, but one of those fixes led to another problem. We made our first claim for a leaking washing machine drain on the 3rd. It's now the 23rd and that first claim has still not been resolved. At first they denied it, we fought it and they sent out another plumber days later for a second opinion. from his report they authorized him to cut out the sheetrock to look at it. So then, days later, that's what he did. Basically, yep it's leaking, I'll send in my report. Now we have 3 holes in our wall and still have a leaky drain dripping water into our wall. We're still waiting to hear if they will actually authorize the fix. On the 10th we reported low water pressure in the kitchen faucet. Again the process: pay $95, wait 3 days, they write a report, wait another 3 days, they okay the work, wait another 3 days, and then hope it gets fixed. When they backflushed the faucet, it created a leak in the valve but didn't fix the water pressure. Again the process: pay $95, wait 3 days, they write a report, wait another 3 days, they okay the work, wait another 3 days, and then hope it gets fixed. They finally came out and replaced the faucet. But in the process of replacing it, they discovered the valve that had been leaking would not shut off the water to the faucet and they recommended it be replaced. He put it in his report to the company. But that's not good enough. They want us to start the process over and pay another $95. I even called and went up the food chain and they all stuck to the script. "The contract you signed..." At this point, I think it would have been cheaper to hire a plumber and have it done in one day, than to keep paying the service fee. I'm glad the sellers paid for this "warranty" and not us.

The repair cost was a little higher than I had initially hoped, but once the technician arrived and explained everything, it made complete sense. He explained that, as an authorized Samsung repair company, they have to pay licensing fees to Samsung and continuously stay up to date on Samsung's ever-changing technology and repair procedures. That level of specialized training is something many other repair companies don't invest in. In fact, before finding them, I contacted several appliance repair companies, and every one of them told me they worked on every brand except Samsung. That alone speaks volumes about the expertise this company offers. Not only did they repair my Samsung refrigerator's ice maker, but they also fixed my Samsung dryer, which had stopped drying properly. The technician went above and beyond by explaining everything in detail, answering all of my questions, and making sure I understood the repairs. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. I'm incredibly grateful to have both my refrigerator and dryer working again. I highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them again in the future.

Replaced our "craft" ice maker, showed us how to turn it on & off and explained the trouble we were having and set clear expectations moving forward. ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. FIRST AMERICAN WARRANTY....NOT SO MUCH. initially they assigned us another appliance repair company (their name escapes me at this time) and when I did just 20 min of research found out on the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUs website that they were "COMPLETELY ROTTEN". Those were the exact words they used in describing that company. I had to DEMAND to speak with a manager before FAW assigned me someone else. Peter from Appliance Worx arrived, listened to us, diagnosed the problem and amazingly had the replacement "CRAFT ICE MAKER" on his truck. Replaced it.....and the whole visit took maybe 40 min. Moral of the story/review.....Appliance Worx is great. Dont let your home warranty ppl give you "crappy" service ppl.

    We just had South Placer come out on behalf of our Home Warranty to troubleshoot a less than four…read moreyear-old AC unit. Brendan O'hara came out and was really great to work with. He was easy to talk to, super informative, and was relaying a lot of the troubleshooting information to me so I thought that was really helpful so I could understand the things he was checking along the way. Although our issue may require a new evaporator coil or repair which will be determined at tomorrow's appointment I am confident that South Placer will be able to resolve our issues and hopefully in a timely manner. I have experience with about five or six different HVAC companies over the last couple decades and South Placer is definitely a solid representation of a great company to work with. Thanks Brendan! 7/6/26 - Well I have to give an update to my review posted 20 days ago. I wasn't so pleased to learn that South Placer was suggesting to replace a bunch of things including our evaporative coil and refrigerant amongst other things and our out of pocket costs were nearly $5,000. So we had the guy who installed the system come out to diagnose after reviewing South Placer absurd diagnosis and recommendation to our home warranty. Turns out it was bad blower motor which was far less than what South Placer wanted to replace. As of today, we are up and running like before. The only reason why I called the home warranty was because I thought it was a simple bad capacitor. Turns out I should have just called the guy who installed the system to diagnose the problem. I thought I was getting an accurate and honest diagnosis from South Placer. It's unfortunate I have to update this review.

From the initial consultation to the installation and everything that has followed, the team has always been professional, responsive, and willing to help. I especially want to recognize Randall. Over the past two years, he has been incredible to work with. He's knowledgeable, patient, honest, and always takes the time to answer questions and make sure things are handled the right way. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers, and that kind of service is hard to find. Like any HVAC system, we've had questions and a few things we've wanted checked along the way. What has impressed me most is that Attic Man has always stood behind their work and has been there when we've needed them. Looking back, I'm really glad we chose Attic Man. Super Bros was not the cheapest, but very competitive with the lowest quote. There were a few reasons we went with Super Bros. First, they got started on my whole house re-pipe the next week. The other company had me waiting for more than a month. The other reason is because Super Bros was super communicative and explained the whole process before it started, asked lots of questions about my preferences, and was incredibly transparent about every details and process. My primary point of contact for this job was Jeremy. He was actually another reason that I went with Super Bros, as I never felt like he was trying to upsell anything or push me into doing something I didn't want or need. He was clear about where there were options and where he has seen challenges from a project like mine in the past. His experience and demeanor were what locked it in for me. After agreeing to use Super Bros, the next week I was met by Mike, who walked through with me as he was point on the project. I work from home so I was around for the entire thing, but I can honestly say that there was barely any disruption to my workday. Yes, the water was off for one of the 3 days of work, but other than that and the expected noise of cutting out metal pipes here and there, the disruption was nearly invisible. I was also greeted by Serge and Denis who were handling different parts of the project. Both incredibly polite and obviously damn good at their jobs. This was NOT some group of minimum wage kids subcontracted to do the work. every one of these guys was an experienced and efficient tradesman from what I could tell (admittedly I'm, not a plumber, but you could tell that they were professionals by the quality of their work, their speed, and some of the challenges my house provided that they were able to find workarounds for). You can probably tell that I'd recommend Super Bros for your next plumbing project, but in case there was any question: you should use Super Bros for your next plumbing project. Highly recommend!

Still, they talked us into sticking with them and signing up for recurring maintenance program for "discounts" and covered service. Worst decision ever. Every single time I call trying to schedule service they never have anything for 1.5-2 months out - even though we pay a membership every month and are promised "priority scheduling". The services are over priced so that they lie about giving you "the member discount". They even states I needed to re-do stuff I've done on the prior service as if it was never done previously- liars, trying to sell unnecessary work. Finally, a local person is never available to talk to on the phone. You always get transferred to a third party person who doesn't care at all. I just want a refund for the 6 months paid of membership that I won't use, and cancel this nonsense. Never again. Stay away! they tell us you have priority for scheduling maintenance bit you don't
