I would recommend this moving company 100%. I am a 20 plus yr Customer Service executive. It is difficult to find Service Providers who deliver great customer service experiences these and especially end-to-end. I was in the midst of a personal relocation therefore I did not have the luxuries of a company managed assistance with the recent move. The time of shopping and vetted movers was a shark fest experience; minimum requirement were unreasonable and not flexible to customer profile, rates were overstated and customer service interactions were rude, non empathic nor personalized..sharks justing want dollars. Moving is stressful enough, and to have a moving service provider who is uncaring and overpriced, just adds fire to the move. Metal Box Mover delivered a great experience from the initial conversation with the owner Michael. He listened to my need, which was a moderately small unload, and the storage unit unloading need location was only 15 minutes from his location. He provided me a very reasonable hourly rate, and was flexible with his time to accommodate my need. His two movers, Michael and Nathan, were on time and very personable. There was an issue at the storage unit where my unit was not secured by the reservationist The gentlemen remained pleasant during this time, and continued with this same great demeanor while I was discussing my frustration and trying to find a solution with the storage provider. I had to google around to find a last minute storage company which was several miles away. The owner helped reduced my stress when he was notified and assured me that his team would work with me and not to worry. The movers followed me to the other storage unit and placed my items wonderfully, never once showing any signs of frustration. Love this company and its team. I was very pleased with my experience with Metal Box Movers. My roommate and I had to move under stressful circumstances and the day of the move was not exempt (my pets had vet appointments and my car decided to stop working). Between coordinating with my family in another state, clearing a 2Bed/2Bath apartment with a steep staircase, and handling heavy and complicated furniture, the guys from Metal Box Movers were absolute pros. They worked hard and were courteous, respectful, and very helpful. I appreciated the care put into moving our home and the hands-on approach from Michael, the owner, who came by multiple times to check in on us. Not at all an experienced mover. Needed constant supervision. They don't know how to load a truck. They didn't work together as a team. I schedule 3 people. 2 people worked and the other stayed on the phone. One worker changed out in the middle of the job. Because of the lack of experience with the movers, it took twice as long as it should have. read more
