The dish here was definitely a worthy contender. Our friends ordered a Rueben and the Baker's Wife Pizza. Everything look so good. Since there were many items I'd like to try, we definitely need to come back. Service-Excellent. On our way our, we stopped at the attached bakery. Lots of really great looking baked items including scones, lemon bars, macaroons, tarts, cinnamon rolls, etc. So glad we discovered Village Baker.

The dip was very cheesy and had no visible mushroom (or mushroom flavor for that matter), so was essentially a goat/parm/cream cheese dip with caramelized onions. Both of our mains were poorly cooked. The pork tenderloin was overdone, dry, with an undetectable coffee crust. The blueberry BBQ sauce was all blueberry. The beef brisket was tough and once you swallowed the sauce that it was slathered in was incredibly dry. The veggies it was served with were undercooked and included the chewy stems of mushrooms (also undercooked). Despite all of this, it is a cute spot and service is kind but they are understaffed.
