    CHICKEN SHAWARMA PLATTER

Homemade food. No processed food. The texture of the food is top notch. We were a group of 7 people on a Sunday afternoon. They did not disappoint us. Service will allow you to sample taste. They are very nice people who take pride in their restaurant and service to the public. The inside is larger than you think when you walk into this location.

A page of the menu I promise is readable!

Open for about seven months, the hype finally motivated me to swing down for an early lunch on a Sunday. This is a strange place in a good way! Half of the menu is a hodgepodge of American and assorted other ethnic foods and the other half is Mediterranean including a served buffet! I told you, strange! Arriving- If you can find Advent Hospital with its countless signs, these folks are directly across the street on Sun-N-Lake Blvd. They are a storefront in a small plaza with very little outside presence. You can park directly in front of it. Ambience- As you can see from my pics it is a very clean little place with just a few tables. Fountain drinks are serve-yourself. There is a large served buffet case which I'll talk more about later. I found my chair a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it was just me. You pay at the cash register when you leave. Customer Service- I was greeted immediately by what turned out to be the cook/chef. He was genuinely friendly and accommodating as I gave him my order. Shortly after I sat down, I met the owner. It turns out he runs the place with his wife. He was fantastic, welcoming and informative. My customer service experience was maybe seven stars! Pro Tip- If you are a first timer, they will happily explain how the whole place works. Food- You'll find a Hamburger, Fries, Hot Pastrami, Fried & Grilled Chicken etc. Baba Ghanoush, Falafel and Chicken Shawarma are on the menu. There are even Empanadas and Arepas! Mediterranean Buffet- This is a served buffet and it looks wonderful. My menu pics appear to indicate that the price is based on the time of day. This will be my next visit. On this visit I ordered the Hot Pastrami Combo with fries and a soft drink for $12.99. I didn't ask what would be on my sandwich. It came out in good time and was not what I expected! As you can se from my pic, my sandwich was on a pressed sub roll. It was piping hot and included cheese and sautéed onions. It was delicious but I expected a more traditional version. The fries were perfect. Overall, it was a great visit. For now, until I try the buffet, I'm going with four stars!

Super friendly and amazing food! As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed and were greeted with a warm smile. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back next time we are in town!!

Amazing fresh food and very nice people. Highly recommend especially to those who aren't familiar with this type of cuisine

The closest to true Greek Cousine since temporary duty on Isles of Crete in 2005 I've came across. Absolutely great food.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent dining experience at this establishment…read more My party and I waited nearly two hours for our meal, which is an exceptionally long time. When the food finally arrived, the steak I ordered was excessively salty, rendering it unpalatable. This combination of prolonged wait times and a poorly prepared dish resulted in a highly unsatisfactory visit.

We ordered a large takeout order and they estimated 30 minutes until it was ready. It wasn't ready…read morewhen I got there but they were pretty busy, so I wasn't worried. I ended up sitting there for 40 minutes before I left with our food. When they had me pay, I noticed they messed up the order and swapped the chicken entree for the gyro entree. So I had to wait for them to fix it. She apologized and gave us extra baklava to make up the difference in price, but after I got home and looked at the menu, I should have owed her more money rather than them giving me extra baklava. Other than the cluster of picking the food up, we thought it was all delicious. The portions seemed on the smaller size for a platter that supposedly can feed 2-3 people but with our extra entrees, it was the perfect amount for us. The hummus was great with the warm pita, the meat was all flavorful, and the baklava was a great way to end the meal. The "salad" that comes with the Sultan Feast isn't really a salad but just a few cut up veggies. Overall, I felt bad for the 2 ladies running the front alone because they were very busy and they kept apologizing for the wait times. The food was great though and we would definitely order it again.

We each got a glass of wine, and Toni basically gave us a whole tasting of Lebanese wines. She is extremely knowledgeable about wine in general. The food was next level. I have never had middle eastern food but this was a great introduction. The only minus is that this place is NOT kid friendly, and you absolutely must call ahead and get a reservation. Chef Toni was actively turning people away who did not have a reservation because she simply cannot fit more guests into her restaurant. There are no kids menus, and I don't even think there are high chairs. Toni did try to accommodate as best as she could- she made our entrees shareable for our toddler and she made sure he had extra pita bread! Chef Toni offers a "chefs table" experience, starting at $95/person, chef Toni will ask you some questions and curate a menu specific to your desires / dietary needs. We stumbled upon this place by happenstance but we will absolutely be returning. See Chef Toni featured on Food Network!

Good prices, delicious falafel appetizer well worth $9. Hubby had a tabouli salad that was excellent, my chicken shawarma wrap was messy but was quite tasty. A little on the messy side (oily floors), but otherwise a solid dining experience with very fair prices and we will return.
