Medium pizza
Erika C.

By far in the top 3 pizza places I have had in Milwaukee. The crust was perfectly crisp throughout and didn't have any sogginess in the middle. The pizza was perfectly seasoned. We were going to only eat half of the pizza and ended up eating the whole thing in one sitting because it was so good! I can't comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant since we got take out, but our pizza was ready right on time when we expected it to be.

Caradaro Club, the first pizzeria in Milwaukee is still making one of my top 3 picks for thin crust pizza in Milwaukee! I love the flavor of the sauce, cheese, and other toppings, I love the sound the crust makes when I take a bite, literally like biting into a cracker! The mozzarella Marinara is made with wonton wraps, and they are amazing, too! Note: the prices on their menu are outdated, so call to confirm prices when you order, or stop in to dine inside and you'll see the current prices posted. It's across from Wick Field and has a tea cup on the roof, and open Wednesday through Sunday evenings. Check them out!

Half sausage. Half pepperoni. Get more than you think you'll eat. You'll eat it all.

Best thin crust pizza in MKE . Crispy flaky crust top with SMO - Sausage Mushrooms Onion, that's MKE style pizza. It so good. If your into thin crust , it's a must try when in MKE . Not only you'll learn a little bit of Pizza history but also leave satisfied.

14" 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage crispy

This place was incredible! First and foremost the employees were amazing to chat with, Gary was so much fun. Also met the owner who came out to say hi. This place is a little small but can still hold 20 people inside. You can tell this place has been their for a long time and they know exactly what they are doing. The pizza was fantastic! This pizza made it into my top 5 easily of the best I've had. You need to try this place if you're around the neighborhood.

Nice tasty pizza from a local restaurant. The people are always nice and it's always a good option for takeout to watch hockey at home!

Reminds me of the pizza from a local tavern I had growing up in Illinois. Fantastic, and our new go-to Friday night pizza.

Picked up pizza for work from here. It was delicious with a ton of cheese. We also had some of the fried breadsticks, which were awesome.

I love the location of this restaurant, a cozy little nook set apart from the business of downtown but still so accessible! With events happening at the fiserv and new music venue in the deer district, it was a welcome reprieve from the action. The restaurant itself is lively but chill - is there a word for that!? lol very laid back, friendly and informed staff. We were able to snag a seat at the bar which was great - it's probably got 12-15 seats. Full dinner service too! My husband got a mezcal old fashioned (not on the menu) and I got a spicy margarita. Both were great! As for food, the menu is eclectic, but everything looks and tasted great! We got 2 appetizers, the bruschetta and stuff pepper - both were delish!! And then we shared the braised beef risotto topped off the night with a spirit free strawberry Fresca & churros (SO GOOD). Great experience for deciding last minute and getting a walk in spot.

First time coming here…read more Food: The menu has a lot of excellent choices. The drink menu features plenty of specialty cocktails, and I took our server's recommendation and ordered the Whisky Paloma, which was an excellent choice. I loved the chili dust along the rim. If you like pizza, they have an interesting selection featuring ingredients such as peaches, figs, and bacon. It was hard to decide, but I ended up ordering the Burrata pizza with grilled peaches, arugula, and honey. It was very good and would have been even better with a few more grilled peaches. I also ordered the grilled octopus because, if it's on the menu, I just have to try it. It was very good, along with the accompanying roasted potatoes. I prefer my octopus well grilled and firm, and this preparation was a bit softer than I would have liked. We finished with the tiramisu, which was a little disappointing. It was both very cold, as though it had just been thawed, and a bit soggy. Service: The service was very good throughout the evening. We were seated right away, and our server did a nice job of getting us settled in. The drinks and food arrived surprisingly quickly, and we felt well attended to throughout the meal. Thanks, Robert! Atmosphere: The building is a gem, with old brick on the outside and a modern, relaxing design on the inside. There is a foyer where guests are greeted and can wait for their tables. The wood wall treatments and lighting are inventive and upbeat. The many hard surfaces make the acoustics a bit loud, but we were still able to have a conversation comfortably. Overall, it was a very good experience. With a bit more attention to some of the final touches on the food, this could have been an even better experience. We would enjoy coming back again.

Don't get me wrong, I love Milwaukee style pizza, but sometimes it's good to mix it up. The edges were indeed very bubbly and bready and then the pizza innards were a New York pizza style with a thin, bready cheesy texture. Everything was very tasty. I will definitely be coming back.

We have ordered garlic knots, cheese pizza and the margherita pizza multiples times- summer of 2025 however, now we can clearly conclude that they have downgraded their service and food. Previously we had fluffy garlic knots, smothered in sauce and parmesan however now they are serving burnt pizza crust with a sprinkle of parmesan in place of what they are advertising on their website. The pizza dough was still raw and not edible. Perhaps management has changed, as their phone number and location within the building also have and the previous menu is no longer offered which supports this theory. We did order close to closing time and inquired whether it was too late to place an order however they proceeded to take our order regardless. We would have been more satisfied if they had let us know it was too late and they would not be able to provide the quality service we had been given before. Upset to say that we will no longer be ordering from brute, they have officially lost their game.

I was also excited to try this place because we have had Calderone club (same ownership) and we love it. This place exceeded expectations with a specialty of neopolitan pizza from a brick oven it truly is great! I would also recommend their cocktails which are just as good as the food. We also enjoyed their special pasta and the eggplant fries. Everyone was silent during dinner as they were busy enjoying. We also enjoyed our server who engaged with us entered great conversations and made tremendous recommendations. We loved the Friday night atmosphere as well make sure to grab a reservation.

The Margherita pizza ($20) has a generous amount of fresh mozzarella and a perfect layer of sweet-leaning tomato sauce. The Maria Carmella pizza ($25) was layered in a well-balanced prosciutto and arugula combo. However, the star of the show was the espresso martini which was thick and creamy, just how I like it! The tiramisu was a fantastic balance of sweet chocolate and bitter espresso. The service was slow, however it was a busy Saturday night during peak dinner rush which is to be expected.
