Amazing customer service! I'm in the middle of a remodel and working with our contractors & kitchen…read moredesigner appliances were all ordered from another region supplier in January 2022. 5 months later I'm told that my oven won't arrive now until Feb 2023 and not much they can do about it. My cabinets were custom built around the appliances ordered, but not having an oven/microwave for over a year? Was simply unacceptable & I original seller didn't seem to have any solutions. I callled Nasons to see what they might have stock or able to get stock sooner but other brands had different measurements and I was stressed about it fitting. Within 2-3 hours Nason found my oven in Cincinnati- drove over the weekend to pick it up & installed it 3 days later. Above and beyond service- thank you so much! Exceeded all my expectations-

Oh my goodness!!! STAY AWAY!! Service: Laughable - if you don't laugh you will cry. Ordered six…read moreappliances - two that I was told were readily available - and waited a month for those two to be delivered. When I inquired about the long wait Kristina asked, "When would you like them delivered?" I responded immediately, "ASAP". A week later I inquired by email about a delivery date, Kristina said she had left on vacation (which she let me know she deserved) and didn't get my email until she returned. She asked me if I had laundry appliances to be hauled away and I told her no (SIX TIMES). When I finally insisted that she write it down she said she would write it in capital letters across the invoice... guess what? When the delivery guys came (they were very professional) they asked where the haul aways were - clearly, on the invoice, it said "2 haul aways". I have still not been credited for the haul away that I paid for but did not need more than two months later. When I canceled the remaining 4 appliances that I had ordered (Kitchenaid backorder, not on Nasons) Kristina asked me if I had any laundry appliances hauled away... can't make it up. I reminded her how many times we went over this and she said she must be "slow in the head." Obtaining the rebate forms was another fiasco - first they said they would help me with them, then they said they would mail me the forms (they did... they were the wrong ones), then they had to change the date of the invoice because the original invoice was not eligible for the rebate on the form they sent me. Mitch (my salesman) was absolutely absent (never returned my calls) after he made the sale. Now they are telling me $11,277.35 - $8863.05 = $2389.05. Funny, my calculator says $2414.05 but what does the lowly customer know? My mind must be doing the old math. I have tried to be reasonable but seriously, if you go to Nasons, be ready for a circus show.

Wow, really? This is considered Gary? I've been coming here my whole life and had no idea I lived…read morethat close to Gary. Cool. I guess I'll be prepared when I move to "the most dangerous city in America", St. Louis. But I digress... Jelenek's is a very cool place and has been around at least as long as I've been alive. My mom used to take us here to stock up on our annuals, vegetables and seeds for the garden. Once I was a little older and wiser, I figured out how to buy flower flats myself and gave Mom a Mother's Day treat of planting the front yard for her. Not quite a surprise the next 15 years that I did it, but every year she was thrilled with the flowers and how nicely they held up all summer. Jelenek's is family-owned if my memory serves me and I love the long-haired Crystal Gayle-esque woman who works there. She's a sweetheart in her big-brimmed gardening hat, full of knowledge and happy to help. They've got a nice selection of seeds, plenty of soil, mulch and tools and I'm pretty sure they have perennials as well. I always enjoy pushing my unwieldy cart through the gravel paths and admiring all the colorful annuals. The greenhouse vegetables at Jelenek's have never failed me and always yield hefty harvests (at least in my experience). The only trouble I've ever encountered was the time I thought I bought sweet banana peppers, but they turned out spicy as hell. When that's your biggest beef with a down-home, country gardening store, you're in good hands.
