In one the tension springs and opener was replaced and at the other location the springs were replaced and a new door was installed. The price charged was within competitive bidding and the men were fast, polite and very professional. We spent several thousand dollars for our garage doors. The workers were professional the door looked good. About a year after the door was installed, one of the springs on top of the garage broke off. It had been fixed with wrong way! We have called them at least 8 times to try getting them to come out & repair the garage. They are always friendly & personable & promise that someone will come out soon. We first called them in April it is now June the spring is still not repaired. Last week I called Crown to fix my wrought iron gate, the motor was not catching the remote signal thus not opening it, I had to put my car on park, get out the car and release the gate manually (what an inconvenience) then dive out, get out of the car again and close it. So I decided to call a reliable company who can come out to my house-fix the gate without me being home. So they did, they send Mat a very friendly guy, the thing has not given me any problems since then. Sent a request through Yelp on a Sunday and Houston Garage Doors and Gates replied right away and the first one to provide me a quote and details of work to be done. Gaston came the next morning and look at the problem, fixed the problem, and recommend new wheels and support as my garage door is old and banged up. I would say price is fair base on Google search. Bait and switch company. I call and ask if they do two garage doors to single door conversion. I was told no problem technician will be there tomorrow at 9:00. At 9:00 I got a call from technician tellin=g me his is going to be late. Then ask me bunch a questions regarding what the can and can not do. Crown is one of the best companies that have done service on my house. The were fast with the repair. When it came to a problem with my garage door cameras the came a second time and did not charge me a thing. They said it would be cover under the 30day labor warranty.
