I wish I could give 0 stars and to be honest that might be me being extremely generous. My stay here was HORRIBLE. Legit my worst nightmare. Well if you can call it a stay. I checked out after 1 night, in which I slept in a chair because I wouldn't dare sleep in those fifthly sheets. First, Let's start by saying this hotel does have ample parking. But that's about the ONLY good thing this place has going. I ended up staying at the Plaza due to a work trip. I didn't end up checking in until 8:30 pm Sunday night. By the time I got to the room I was exhausted and what I seen I wanted to believe I was being pranked because there's no way they thought that room was in a position to be rented out. The condition of the room was unbelievable. I went downstairs to complain to the front desk attendant, showed her photographs and promised the room would be like new the next day. Day 2, I come back to the hotel after working 16 hours, due to being completely exhausted due to sleeping in a chair the night before I ate at the restaurant upstairs, I wouldn't feed that food to my dog. It was barely edible and they ran out of just about everything. Return back to my room just to see that the condition of the room has not changed a bit. I went back down to complain once again to another staff member who did not seem surprised AT ALL when seeing the photos then proceed to tell me they have no more rooms and the housekeeper is gone for today and that that particular room was my only option. I refused to sleep in a chair for the second night so I left at 10 pm to find another hotel. To make matters worse they charged me for both nights. 0/10 recommend. I would not stay here for free.

Upon checkin we were greeted and provided with a large suite. Four of us slept quite comfortably during our 3-night stay. The room was pretty quiet, but we ran the air conditioner and I wear ear plugs, so take that with a grain of salt. The bar/restaurant on the 12th floor was very nice. The bartender was friendly and made us some good drinks, which were very expensive. We tried to visit the bar on our last night, but there was a private event that was jam packed, so we just went back to our room. Speaking of our room, there were a lot of details overlooked. For example, the ice maker didn't work during our stay. The ceiling paint was peeling off, there was some stuff smered on the ceiling, the bathroom shower worked, but it was kind of broken. The couch cushions were ripped open. There was a very sticky substance on the floor, which when stepped on, followed you through the room. Other than some neglect, the room was comfortable and we slept well. My kids didn't complain. The two TVs and remote controls worked. Most of the times that we walked past the front desk, there was nobody there. Sometimes, however, there were two people there. I'd probably avoid this hotel in the future, but only if I can find something better in the area. We visited another hotel around the corner, which seemed to be maintained better.

This was my first stay here. I booked the hotel using my IHG points for only one night, because we were meeting another couple for dinner at the Capitol Grill in Paramus, which is only ten minutes away. When we arrived we were given room 606. Complimentary breakfast was not included. When we arrived at room 606, we could smell smoke. We don't like the smell of smoke even though we both smoked years ago. We returned to the front desk to request another room. When we arrived at our alternative room 707 we did not smell any smoke, therefore, we stayed in room 707. As you can see from my pics our room 707 overlooked the front parking lot. Room 707 did not include a refrigerator. The TV was not that large. The ice machine on the 7th floor was out of order. I took the elevator up to the 8th floor for ice. The bathroom was painted dark blue and did not provide enough lighting in the bathroom. They should have painted the bathroom a lighter color. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but the air conditioner could not cool the room adequately during the 92 degree heat wave. If I have to return to this area, next time I will try the Marriott hotel, which is across the street because as an IHG member I usually receive complimentary breakfast.

Bathroom so small the door can't even close properly

Bathroom was atrocious. NO ceiling vent in a tiny little bathroom. Sink was broken. They put us under the "club" on the top floor so we couldn't sleep until the party ended at midnight. Room was small. Do not recommend. Just dropped to 1 star since this generic reply was posted in like a minute.

Yes I'm a fan! The hotel is very clean and cozy. The staff was so friendly . The lobby even feels like home and welcoming. I saw smiling faces the entire time. I loved the different places to sit in the lobby. I sat there ate my and people watched. LOL If I'm ever in town again I would definitely stay. I loved the layout of this place. There aren't too many hotels where I feel I can walk around without my socks and not feel like I'll catch a germ. I wear socks guys but you know what I mean. It's clean. If you're searching in your car right after leaving the airport try this place. I think you'll be pleased.

Stayed for a few days visiting family. Very convenient right near Garden State Parkway route 46 New York LaGuardia wherever. Like the clean and contemporary look at this hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the shower did not have a support grab bar or a shelf to put shampoo. The rooftop bar and restaurant has a great view of the sunset in New York skyline. Unfortunately, we're from Kentucky and ordered an old fashion. We asked the bartender if he makes a good one and he felt like he did. It was terrible. And so was the singer that night. Overall definitely would recommend this hotel for quality comfort and convenience.

Staying at the Crown Plaza in Saddle Brook, New Jersey was the worst experience I have ever had staying at a hotel. Considering this was my first time staying at any Crown Plaza Hotel, I am outraged at the treatment and conditions and will make sure I spread the word for people to stay away from this place. The hotel was disgusting, the staff rarely wore masks, and the management was rude, belligerent, and hostile. My mother and I were visiting from out of town for the holidays, she arrived on Thursday December 23rd, and I arrived on Friday December 24th. Upon arrival, I went to my mother's room (1009) to find that maintenance was there helping her move to another room (1008) because the coffee maker was broken, and the shower was filthy (see pics). After they moved her to her new room, I checked into my room (404) and I immediately had to call the front desk because I was having similar issues. When I walked into the room, there was a random purple toy sitting in the middle of the carpet, and the shower and bathroom were disgusting. Maintenance arrived and removed the object from the floor and assured me the bathroom would be cleaned upon our return as we both stated we would be leaving for the day to attend an engagement and would be gone for most of the evening. We arrived back very late and noticed that room service was not provided. We called down to the front desk and stated that room service had not accommodated our request to clean, and there were no clean towels to which the front desk agent asked "What do you want me to do about it?" I literally had to tell her to bring towels to both rooms. When a worker arrived at my room, I informed him that the toilet was stopped up, and I noticed on the other side of the bed there was someone's mask on the floor, a clear indication that the room had never been cleaned. And considering we are living in a pandemic with a new variant, I was extremely concerned. He informed me he would return to address both issues and he never returned. I called and spoke to the same front desk agent and she informed me the owner Manny would be in the next morning at 10 a.m. and I could speak to him. Fast forward to the next day, I go down stairs prior to check out in an attempt to speak with Manny and express that I never received a final bill, along with my issues. It is customary for a check out bill to be slid under the door at any hotel, that never happened. I spoke to another front desk agent Natrell who informed me that NO manager was in and would not be in for the evening. I expressed all my concerns, he documented everything and said he would contact the managers so they could address my concerns. Upon checking out, Natrell informed me he spoke with Manny and he would contact me within two hours. When leaving, I received a notification from my bank stating that my card was charged again by the hotel - the first time during check-in, and a second time upon checking out. I was furious and was waiting to speak with Manny to correct all issues, and address my concerns. Hours later he called and was rude and told me I did not know anything about staying in a hotel or banking. He was disgustingly patronizing, and told me to return to the hotel because he was there and he would look at the accounting then proceeded to hang up on me. I assume I was disturbing his free time when he was supposed to be working. When I returned to the hotel, Natrell informs me that Manny was not there, clearly someone was lying to me. I ask him to call the second manager Zack which he did in front of me. He informed me that Zack would not talk to me, and would call me the next day (I never heard back from either one of them). I am outraged and I refuse to have my mother or me treated this way. I will be contacting BBB, New Jersey Health department to open a claim due to covid safety violations, IHG corporate office, contacting NJ attorney general to file a formal complaint, and disputing all charges on my credit card. For anyone looking for a hotel to stay at in the Hackensack/Saddle Brook area, please steer clear from this nasty establishment, and I use those words loosely. Manny is a disgusting human, and Zack is worthless. If they cannot handle customer issues, they need to get out of the business. I will continue to escalate the matter until I receive an apology and compensation for the way I was treated, and for having to stay in such nasty conditions (please see pictures). Instead of pissing off a customer, they should have resolved the issue. Because they were so interested in wasting my time and treating me like trash, I feel compelled to waste their time by opening an investigation and have them answer to their corporate office. If anyone else has had these issues staying at this "hotel", please feel free to contact me, perhaps we need to make this a class action situation.

So I've stayed here fairly regularly, and each time I've stayed the quality has declined. Tonight, as I'm cleaning my brushes (I'm a hairstylist and the hair in the image is from the aforementioned brushes) I find an apple core and a bandaid in the trash can!!! Seriously?!?? Did no one take out the trash? Additionally, when I called down to the front desk to address this issue the only thing the gentleman I spoke with offered was to "have someone come look at it"... seriously? "Looking at it" isn't going to fix the problem. I live in hotels as part of my job, and this is utterly unacceptable. I'm left wondering about the sheets...

This is Something in the Sake's first review of a hotel but this just had to be done. Firstly, we showed up ahead of schedule for once in our lives about an hour before check in. Hoping our room was ready we checked in and were told they needed "a few". In true Sake fashion we did what the locals do and walked to the ABC store, Taco Bell, and a local gas station all while traversing rail tracks and dodging traffic. Came back at 2:40 and were asked to have a seat because our room still wasn't ready. We walked back up to the front at 2:55 because a line was starting to form. Eventually, we got our keys and the man working the desk threw in free breakfast for our wait (2 stars for you). Relieved we could start getting ready for the wedding we were attending that night, we unpacked camp and did what everyone does, got naked. You can imagine our surprise when housekeeping came barreling through the door with two other guests who had check out of our room earlier that day. They didn't even bother to knock and while I slammed the bathroom door shut, the woman commented to my fiancé that she didn't know we had checked in already! Anyways, towel hooks fell of the bathroom door, room was hot all night in November, and I'm pretty sure there is black mold in the shower. We are so excited to leave!

I figured those signs were for non-guests. I liked the place so much, I came back. And...they tell me I have to pay $20! Now, I don't have an MBA from a grade-inflation school, but I can tell you that I'd much rather someone spend that $20 on a drink or anything else, since that is likely to generate RECURRING revenue, leading to a larger profit, even if the margin isn't as good as the ripoff parking fee. Now, I bluntly told the girl at the front desk that this fee is a ripoff (I didn't swear or gesticulate wildly), but she was offended by my characterization of a ripoff as...a ripoff! Not only does she enjoy ripping people off, but she doesn't want you to call a ripoff...a ripoff! So, definitely come here if you want a good night's sleep, but not until they get rid of the parking fee. There are plenty of other hotels nearby that are just as good and won't get their feelings hurt if you tell them that Marriott Saddle Brook's parking charge is a ripoff.

Although there are some empty spaces at this minute I snapped some of my pictures, when one thing ran out they were quick to replenish it. And they made sure to keep food stocked until the end of breakfast (sometimes buffets start emptying things out well before closing time). This was definitely appreciated by those who came a few minutes before 10! The space for dining is a bit small. Every day except one, it was very crowded. Accessible areas aren't truly accessible if people can't navigate them independently. The breakfast was the minimum. Waffle maker, juice dispenser, a few breakfast pastries (no bagels!) The breakfast area was never populated. My entire time staying at the hotel, most often I was the only diner. One day there was one other person. Another day there were 2 people at 2 different times.
