Crow's Nest had one hell of an awesome cheeseburger!!!! We were very happy we stopped. The cheeseburger was good size, with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato and cheese. They also had my most favorite: fried mushrooms. They are hard to find, even for an appetizer. I just wanted to say thank you for a great burger, we have been hunting around for one for some time, I rate Crow's Nest burgers way better than the ones made at Tillamook cheese factory!! Keeping this short as possible. We enjoy supporting local and small town businesses. We came for the lake and were looking for a quick bite on the way out of town. Usually small town burger joints are family friendly with hometown hospitality. NOT THIS PLACE. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere. In our short visit we had two small but significant issues. First of all: two people wanted cheese after we placed our $80 order. We offered to pay the .60¢ with a dollar bill. They said they'd have to ring the ENTIRE transaction up, void our credit card purchase and charge us again. To add cheese to our burgers. SHOULD HAVE JUST TOSSED IN THE CHEESE FOR FREE or just rang up .60¢. They said their owner would get too confused if they did it that way. Second. We ordered a fry or onion ring with every meal. In fact that's how we said it, "burger and fry and shake" etc. As we were splitting the order up into two bags for two separate cars we realized we were missing a fry. So we said, we're missing a fry. Instead of simply saying oh sorry, let us get you a fry (actual good customer service) they said, oh we didn't charge you for that many fries. They pulled out the order ticket and the till receipt and told us they would ring us up for another one. It showed where the girl had crossed out the 2 fries and put one. HER MISTAKE. We said, well we ordered it that way, it's not our fault you rung it up wrong. They refused and then we said, well we gave you a really good tip, so just take it out of that.They refused to do that either. They said they'd still have to ring the whole transaction in again to take off the tip to charge us for the fry that we originally ordered but they f'd up. Long story short, if this was bob or sue and not a family of brown people I'm sure we might have gotten better treatment. We should have just asked for a refund for the entire order and went on our way, but we are better people than that. GO ELSEWHERE. Don't waste your time thinking it's a nice little family joint that will give you good friendly customer service. Food is meh. Not worth the headache. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat on our way home from Seaside. Good selection of food, it's yummy for a good price. Keep in mind it's nothing fancy, very straight forward but I enjoyed my meal. The employees are very nice as well :) if you're looking for a decent place to eat that's quick I definitely suggest coming here! They have a drive through as well. read more

went to this place after seeing the yelp reviews we ordered 2 burgers one bacon and one deluxe. both came with nothing on them but a burger and cheese. (bacon with one) which they also fixed right away. also looked like they may have been training a new person so im not going to give them a bad review for that. the burgers once fixed were tasty well seasoned however the patties were quite thin for the price. would give the burger about a 3 stars the fries were perfect not burned but lightly crispy on outside and only about 3 of the rock hard ones you get anywhere that cares about their fries. also a good portion of them. i would give the fries a solid 5 stars so the food was good how ever the ethics of the business is what turn me away and i hate when businesses do this. this place mixes a (fry sauce) up, some ketchup and mayo and then gives you a little tiny bit to go with your fries and proceeds to charge you 28 cents per tiny cup of this stuff that most any other place would give you for free. I absolutely hate being nickle and dimed like that. to give this stuff away would cost you about 5 to10 dollars per day but instead even though i liked the food and the staff was nice i probably wont be back because of this small fee for a sauce that makes my frys enjoyable. read more

Three strikes and sadly, you're out. I've tried hard to like this place and they've gotten more of my money than they should. Today, however, was the last straw. I wanted a quick light lunch on the run and had previously been told their 'Mexican' menu was made from scratch. Hah. The $2.15 burrito was a deep fried gas station 2/$1.00 piece of...insult to gastronomy. Neither bean nor beef, but a dog food-ish red slime in an overcooked freezer-burned tortilla. They're probably 40/$10.00 at Costco. The one saving grace was that it was tiny. I've overlooked the fact that they're highly overpriced, as they're the only game in town, but this was an insult and a slap in the face to customers. read more

Best breakfast sandwich ever to grace my palate. The subtle maple syrup flavor from the freshly grilled sausage patty was the perfect backdrop to the piping hot, perfect grill-top sizzled egg and hash brown, piled on a muffin. YUM. The next visit cannot come soon enough. read more

This establishment brings back many happy food memories for me as a child. My family zooms in the drive through about once a month for tasty dinner on our way home during the week. I have always liked the food here, and my kids do too, as a mom and pops burger joint goes it is top notch. However the last time we pulled up to the drive through there was a problem. With two cars waiting at the window and one parked at the walk in restaurant I fully understood when the employee at the window asked me to wait one minute or so before she took my order. Ten minutes later, with no other cars at the drive through and still just the one in the restaurant, I was confused. It usually takes about 3 minutes to order and 10-15 minutes to drive away with said food. I think they forgot about me, so after the 10 minute wait I beeped my horn twice, while waiting at the speaker, which you can see from the window. Then after waiting an additional 5 minutes, to no avail I drove away. I then called the manager to voice my disapproval and inform her that I would not be back and would be writing her a nice review on YELP. This saddens me as I loved coming here, but I do not tolerate being disrespected. Food GREAT! Service usually pretty good, however when you have hungry small children in a car waiting to eat, you cant make them wait what would have amounted to 45 minutes to get their food, HAD they taken my order after the 15 minute wait. Very disappointed, no excuse, oh and by the way I have AIR Horns on my car, no way they didn't hear the 110 dB blasts read more
